Service was amazing! Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable with any questions we had. We visit quite frequently since this place is within walking distance. The food is consistently good and this visit was no exception. I usually crave the burgers but tonight had the Nashville chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked perfectly! I got the Mac and cheese as a side and it was so good!

Met some friends for drinks and this was my first time at this location. Service was great and very nice that there is a dirt lot across the street for parking. I hate having to hunt for street parking! I just got some fries but they were perfectly crispy and the beer is good. Will definitely be back.

I got a comparable beer to Blue Moon. My friend got a beer and a tenderloin sandwich with fries. I had a small piece of the tenderloin and it was very tasty and crunchy breading. The fries were even great too!

Genuinely the best Mac and cheese on the planet. The baguette/bread is perfectly crunchy without making you feel like you're going to break a tooth. Smaller location but friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

The Oak & Red Sour Ale!

Recently Steve and I had Beer from Upland Brewing and we were highly impressed with it! The beer that we shared was a sour ale of the barrel aged variety. The beer was aged with grapes which made it very unique. This was an excellent sour because it lived up to it's beer style name nicely and didn't come off as sweet like some sour beers do. The name of the beer we had was Oak & Red. Flavors to find with this lovely sour are sour, tart, fruity, a slight sweetness with subtlety. If their other beers are as impressive as the Oak & Red this brewery should definitely be scoring some award winning beer!

We had an ok experience. The server was nice but we had to ask for things multiple times, including silverware. The food was all ok. We really liked the Caesar dressing and the garlic burger, but didn't feel like the IPA beers tasted like typical IPAs. It was kid friendly, so that's was great.

Thai Tofu Salad (held the cucumber) - daughter's fav!

My daughter and I enjoyed a nice lunch here on a Thursday. We were greeted by the bartender / server and chose a table in the bar area. We've dined at other Upland locations and are quite familiar with how great their salads are, so we went that route. My daughter ordered the Thai tofu salad (her favorite) and I chose the baby wedge salad and added their housemade Southwest tofu. Both were plated nicely and tasted fresh & delicious! Their salad dressings are also housemade, so you can't go wrong with whichever you choose; each is well noted with VEG, GF, V if that's a consideration for you. We'll definitely return!

Food was exactly what you'd expect from that kind of place, decent but nothing special. Our table got fish and chips, a blt, and a burger. All of it totally satisfactory. It looks like they have a very vegan friendly menu as well! If you're looking for a place to sit and have a beer with friends this fits the bill. We got there early and were able to have some drinks and food, including the nachos. Man, I was not expecting BBQ sauce and like a mustardy sauce and cheese and it was flavor exploding, loved it. With the event we had catered pork/chicken as well as sides. Everything was great, the peppercorn dressing for the salad was so amazing, I would definitely think of a salad here in the future. The venue inside the space, with the car, is quaint with seating and you get to see everything happening outside the space as well. This last time, we were in the original Guggman Haus brewing building that houses the coffee. This is adorable! We had service the entire time, including a bartender and the beer. They made everything super easy and I would consider this space for a baby shower, bridal shower, etc. We had 25 people and it fit wonderfully. There is also outside space for overflow, so it makes it very reasonable. Now onto the beer! I had the IPA Riverside, very hazy with a great flavor. Then I went off the rocker and ordered some prickly pear drink, I was not expecting how good that was! Refreshing and light, easy to drink (probably too easy) and the flavor was perfect! Try it if you are there, it is a newer option. PROS: Parking easy, street and lot Many open spaces and areas to rent Games are included, so eat, drink and enjoy company They have trivia nights, woohoo CONS: Sometimes the food is not always a hit, nothing to state specifically today, but I recall in the past saying to myself, don't order that again. So, try everything and find what you like. The place is great and the beer/food options are good, so you will find something you like.

The brewery is housed inside a beautifully restored church, and walking in for the first time is worth the visit alone. The soaring ceilings, stained glass, and original architecture make for one of the coolest brewery spaces I've been to around Indianapolis. We stopped in during the early afternoon, so it was nice and quiet. We were greeted right away, and our server was incredibly friendly. She walked us through the beer flights, made some great recommendations, and never made us feel rushed. The flights were also surprisingly affordable, which made trying a few different brews an easy decision. For lunch, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, while my friend went with the Italian sandwich. Both plates were generously portioned, and neither of us left hungry. The pulled pork was tender, flavorful, and piled high on the sandwich, while the fries were perfectly crispy alongside it. Between the quality of the food and the reasonable prices, it felt like an excellent value. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between historic and casual. TVs are scattered throughout if you're catching a game, music plays in the background, and despite the grand setting, it still feels comfortable enough to settle in for a while. Whether you're stopping by for a beer flight, lunch, or just to admire the incredible building, St. Joseph Brewery is well worth adding to your Indianapolis list. I'll definitely be back.

I will cut some slack on the service, however - I arrives after what seems to have been a very atypical rush of Journey fans who inundated the place before heading to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The staff seemed a bit rundown and slap happy - not really attentive to the bar where I sat. I waited a bit long before I was greeted with a menu, waited awhile with an empty glass, waited with my food pushed away before it was cleared. No one asked if everything was okay even though most of my food was untouched. The food... my salad (house greens) was a great little salad! I say this despite finding a hair on the plate when I was about 2/3 through. My mussels and fries were not great. The fries were mid - they tasted kind of overdone or as if the oil were old. The mussels were actively bad. The portion (an app) was pretty small. There was hardly any broth/wine and they weren't piping hot. Also, they were actually not tasty and the texture was rubbery. They remained in front of me, uncleared, even after I closed my tab. They did not smell good. I don't anticipate being sick but I do anticipate being hungry.
