This place is a hidden gem not far from Wurzbach Parkway. I first heard about it on the FB San Antonio Restaurants page, and I am happy to have stopped here. The egg drop soup was flavorful with no artificial colors. Some green onions and black pepper wakes it up! My wife had the sweet 'n' sour chicken, which was served hot, crispy, and fresh. My daughter had the vegetable lo mein with broccoli, and it was delicious. I had the beef lo mein, which was flavorful, hot, and really good. The egg roll was hot, fresh, and seasoned correctly (not too much in terms of the 5-spice). This location is in a strip center with limited parking, probably due to a large tenant next door, but please do NOT let this discourage you from visiting this restaurant. This mom-and-pop restaurant (one of the best ones) really deserves more attention and foot traffic, even though the food delivery apps keep things steady. The interior felt soothing for some odd reason, but this is nothing but a great thing. Thank you for a wonderful family lunch and we will be back soon!

We enjoyed our meal at this truly mom & pop restaurant. Wife in the front and her hubby in the back making each meal fresh to order. Lunch deal until 5pm! Friendly and gracious service.

I'm so impressed! Ordered on DoorDash and it was still incredibly hot when I got here. I got sesame chicken and the pieces of chicken are so big and juicy and you can definitely tell it's good quality meat. They also had large chunks of pineapple, which is delicious also. The price is a little high for the portion size, but not so much that it would deter me from coming again! Can't wait to try more menu items!

It's so hard to find a good Chinese restaurant. This place is a gem, a small restaurant with delicious food, all is made fresh. Service was incredible, Mrs. Amelia has such a joyful personality. Definitely will be coming back. We had the beef with peppers and onions, orange chicken and the hot and sour soup - all super tasty!

Great portions and great food! The owner was so sweet too. Also got the pan fried pot stickers and those were great, I wish the sauce that it came with was a little different but still pretty good! Had enough to take home for dinner

Again, to go order was delicious, 3 meals and dumplings with boba, all FRESH! Will be back again of course! My Kung Pao chicken looks like because like I child I don't like veggie they're good with the meal though.

Food here is freshly made and delicious. I got the orange chicken, daughter got sweet and sour chicken, wife got the shrimp with broccoli and son got the fried rice with beef, chicken and tofu. Everything was delicious

What a great out-of-the-way Chinese restaurant to eat at. It's owners are Mexican that worked in Chinese restaurant so they give the Chinese food a bit of Mexican touch. Their portions are satisfying and their attention to detail is good. The restaurant has flatscreen's inside and is comfortable both at the booth and the tables. When we visited, there weren't many people in the restaurant as a matter fact we were the only ones and then our family came in later. This location is as I said out of the way, but the decoration and the attention given by the owners is excellent.

I went for the 1st time the other day. As much as I wanted to order a couple of items, I couldn't realistically being solo on my "me day." I usually judge an Asian restaurant by its egg drop soup. It didn't disappoint. The soup was actually quite flavorful and didn't need soy sauce like I usually do. I was in the mood for sesame chicken, which is why I originally went searching for Asian. The flavor of the sauce was good and not overbearing. Not pictured was the edamame, got it nice and steamy, and the perfect amount of salt. Would've loved a spicy option! I'm assuming the woman I spoke with was the owner. She was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. I felt there was an adequate number of seats. I would go again to try their noodles! Next time I'll bring a plus 1 so we can order more! Lol

This location caught my wife's eye as we were traveling down Wetmore Rd. We were hungry, feeling adventurous to try something new, and just love Chinese food. The Egg Drop soup was AMAZING, and so were our meals (vegetable stir fry and. Gen Tso's). Definitely a 10/10 experience and the owner was super sweet! We loved the decors and ambiance as well. We cannot wait to come back!

They had pictures of their food as a slideshow on the tv, where it almost made me walk out. It did not look very appetizing. I got the Gogi street supreme with chicken and beef topped with a fried egg and a side of cucumber kimchi. Our food came out in about 3 minutes which was a concern. The kimchi tasted old. Like it sat in the refrigerator uncovered and absorbed all the tastes and smells of everything else sitting in the fridge. The flavors of the beef and chicken tasted the exact same. If I weren't looking at what I was eating, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference except the beef was tough and hard to eat. Needless to say my family and I weren't able to finish our meals and left hungry.

I have the opinion that each culture should be proud of its own cuisine; "Americanized" should not even be a thing. I understand business is business, and most patrons will want "toned down" dishes that are closer to what their eyes, minds, palates, and stomachs are familiar with, but I do not think this should be encouraged. Sure, sometimes you do not want to try something new; I confess, sometimes I also want the comfort that comes with, well, comfort food. Not every meal needs to be an adventure. For this, Panda Express is an excellent choice, they have it covered; even Pei Wei & P.F. Chang's. Other places, slightly more highly priced, do not need to be Americanized. This place might be an exception! From the exterior advertisements to the inside coupons being offered exclusively for ordering online, it is obvious they want to be a business focused on delivery & takeout, not so much dining in experiences. This is further confirmed to see there are but 2 employees in the front of house that will have to cover any serving, waitering, in addition to cashiering for any orders to go. First win is that these two ladies were very welcoming, customer service was great, they were nice, made sure we good what we needed. Inside ambiance, clean, simple, maybe even sleek. Well lit, maybe plain but most everything you need seems to be on the tables already, including scattered menus- some you may need to take one from the front- but the soy sauce, salt, pepper, hot sauce, utensils, even plates are there! There are more than ten tables, absolutely you can dine in should you desire that. Next win, quick service. Maybe 15 total minutes to produce our two dishes after we placed the order. We requested no onions, scallions in either, they remembered. (Based on the frequency that dining establishments somehow forget special requests, this is actually a significant win!) We did get takeout, they were generous with the condiments, and I took some time to feed my camera. They looked over but continued to be friendly through the end, when they graciously bid us a great night, even though I did my pictures, taking out the takeout, even though all I did was put it back in and leave. Now the food. Yes, Americanized, but also so fresh and well executed, I do not mind nearly as much. Also, there are some elements that are genuine Chinese, at least leaning that way. Glad the woman who took my order understood my Mandarin! The Combination Lo Mein was flavorful, white meat chicken tender, shrimp, beefs, also tender and well sauced. Wish it had more vegetables than the minimal napa cabbage. The second dish, Beef Vegetable, with Fried Rice. Have to say, even the fried rice was flavorsome and noticeably better than the usual Chinese takeout. Still plain, but that is to be expected mostly. Near in the main entree was wading, not drowning in the brown sauce. Had larger portions for the napa cabbage, white mushroom, carrots, broccoli, bamboo, baby corn. Cooked well, satisfying. Portion sizes were fulfilling. The Lo Mein noodles were not the thin egg noodles used for authentic chow mein, the fried rice was assuredly not the traditional Yangzhou Chinese fried rice. The dinner was 5 stars within the context of Americanized Chinese, but within a general dining experience, it was not the best of the best. Have no issues with returning. Looking forward to it, in fact. Confidently recommended for a fast, flavorsome, friendly, fresh meal!
