Alright.. so I ordered Pho to go, and after waiting for for a couple of minutes they told me they actually made the wrong soup - they had made Bun Bo instead.. they did offer to remake my Pho but would take a bit more time, or if interested I could just take my wrong order.. I was extremely hesitant and my non confrontational self took the wrong order home.. Well! It is like they knew what I needed that night. This was so delicious, full of flavor, it was maybe a bit saltier for my taste but still would order it again! next time I would probably ask for more vegetables, but everything was very well proportioned. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely visit again.

I've been coming here for years and each time always feels like the first. The owner is amazing and makes you feel like you're at home. The food is always up to par and has you melting right on the spot from how delicious it is. I always recommend this place to my family and friends. If you're from out of town and visiting SA for the first time I suggest eating here! Even if you've been here your whole life and looking for the best wings in town this is the place to go!!!!!

Me and my bestie went the other week. It's very small, cute and intimate. It feels like your at someone's else home, very cozy. The food is amazing, everything is cooked to order. So you can customize and ask for things you might not want in your Pho or entree. I've been to SO many Vietnamese restaurants, even when I lived in NorCal and this is hands down the best pho I've had. My bestie agreed too! Service is great, waiter asked if it was our first time and he broke down the menu for us. Don't miss this gem! It's perfect for date night or lunch with fiends and fam! :)

Great food at reasonable prices. Their menu is varied enough that everyone should be able to find something they like. The place is unassuming and staff is friendly.

1st time here. Their service alone is outstanding! The place is clean, cozy, and quaint! I ordered a bowl of Bûn with shrimp (shrimp is extra), and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor! The dishes have soul! You can taste the love! Their other dishes look intising! Louie made my experience very pleasant. I'm glad I stepped in! I will certainly be back again, this time with a BYOB! Come check them out for yourself!!

I finally stepped in here for lunch. Although the location is a bit questionable, once you step inside you realize it is now going to be your favorite neighborhood restaurant. First of all, I saw the menu had a cup of pho as an appetizer. What! Usually I get pho as an entire meal plus leftovers, so it was really nice to just get a sampling of one of my favorite comfort foods. And yes it was delicious. I ordered the green bean stir fry for lunch and it was so delicious. I did not leave anything on the plate. I came back in the same day for dinner with my husband. Both of our dishes were fantastic, and our server was very nice and professional. Will definitely be coming back!

I haven't been here in nearly a decade. I remember coming here with my mom. The spring rolls were outstanding back then. Didn't try them today but the serves was great. Fast and friendly. The food was great and the servings was good. Recommend if in the area and wanting to try something new.

I came here today for a late lunch. It was my first time. The server was pleasant and attentive. The restaurant was nice and clean. I started with the Wonton soup. It was pretty good. There was a strong flavor of something I didn't recognize but I finished the whole bowl.....Next I had the salt and pepper shrimp and fried rice. I really wanted to love this but it was fried to long and was a little to hard and it was very salty. The fried rice was good. I would definitely try this place again.

Stepping into Vietnam Gardens is like actually going to Vietnam and enjoying a peaceful getaway. Their music is very soothing and tranquil. The service is great and the food is wonderful. I hadn't been in years, but the tea tasted as good as I remembered it. And, I swear the fish in the tank smiled at me when I took their picture!

Small portion for pho. Flavor was good tho, but meat over cooked somehow. Thai tea was just okay. Good but prob wouldn't go back for pho.

I don't think it's truly authentic Chinese food, but an in between little diner with great and attentive service, reasonable prices and a lot on their menu. What we ordered came out super quickly and all the dishes were very good. We got egg drop soup (delicious), one stir fried seafood dish (shrimp and scallop- so good!), shrimp fried rice (great), the General Tso's beef (my husband loved this!), chicken lo mein. Generous portions for all dishes. I am sure this place is great for to go also because they must have had 25 to go orders in the 45 minutes we were there to eat.

It was coated with flour like fried chicken instead of corn starch which it should be Couldn't taste the black bean sauce although the sauce was strong Sweet and sour soup was full of good items but so much pepper it made me cough Soups are in tiny cups they call small bowls White rice is good and sticky Shrimp with lobster sauce is nothing like it should be, mostly corn and tasteless, I mean tasteless like water Not the usual recipe others serve. The beef rice noodles were like I would make from a reg pan at home without, again, taste. They need that wok taste but it's not there So disappointed, not cheap either , easily $18 a plate Place was clean and looked decent but what good is that if the food is lousy?

We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.

Walked in and waited for a few minutes before someone handed us menus and told us to sit wherever. Just handed us menus...in a kind of "just go sit down kinda way". Not real friendly. The appetizer we ordered (veggie steamed dumplings) came out with one less dumpling than promised on the menu. My wife's noodles were nothing special, as was my spicy/numbing pot. I felt my pot in particular, was over-loaded with huge chunks of veggies that could have been better chopped as to be more manageable. More chicken and beef in that chicken and beef pot, too, please ... The person waiting on us, if you could call it that, was not personable and could not have cared less about interacting. His drive by meal drop-offs were the epitome of antisocial. Probably won't return.
