This place is my go to for bubble tea in Huntsville. I've tried Shake it Boba, was too sweet and I don't think they had actual tea in it. This place uses real tea and adds the milk powder to the milk tea. My favorite is hands down the oolong milk tea with classic bubbles. If you join their app, you can order and pay ahead and skip the line. You can get a birthday drink if you're a frequent flyer as well.

Listen: We spend MAD coins here. Kung fu tea is a staple in my household and it's honestly what I wish half the Asian spots in Huntsville /Madison had access to. Best part to me--besides the rosehips, coconut milk and taro teas--is the fact that you can reduce the sugar...even in online orders. But you'll probably like all the Boba, jellies and non-tea items as well. The shop is appropriately small. You can fit only a few fully-grown (read: boring like me) adults in here, but college age and under probably several dozen. It's right next to Kamado Ramen and makes for almost a dessert like experience because of it.

Does this place fill space for the boba trend? Yes! is it still fun and, most important, delish? Yes and Yes. right in the heart of Mid City at the centre of Huntsville across from the REI and, very appropriately, next to Hamado Ramen, this highly convenient and much needed addition to the Mid City shopping area makes for a great place to refresh and just chill. Boba is a favourite in my family and if it is the same with yours it will not disappoint!

Legit authentic bubble tea! I'm very picky about my bubble tea and this place makes the cut! Only other place in town that compares is Shakeit Boba across town. So relieved to find a bubble spot near my home. My BF loves the oolong honey milk tea. I tried the rose hip milk tea today and it was fantastic. My other favs include kungfu milk tea, taro milk tea, and red bean wow. I love that you can customize the ice level and sugar level. Overall this place has bubble tea figured out!

Had my first experience with Kung Fu Tea this past Thursday. It's a small, attractive little bubble tea shop (Huntsville's first brick and mortar bubble tea shop, at that) in the MidCity development. I believe it's owned by the same folks who own Kamado Ramen next door, as well as the Stovehouse location. The inside is decorated in a very attractive, modern way. Not a ton of seating - just a couple of high top tables. There's a wall with a wing mural for all your Instagram needs. :) Contrary to other reviews, my drink was made quickly -- despite there being 4 people in front of me, I received it in less than 10 minutes. I understand you can also order online. The employees were friendly and helpful. I had to use the restroom while I waited. It's a bit hard to find, as it seems to be shared with Kamado, but signs led me to it eventually. It was one of the most nicely decorated public bathrooms I've been in for a while, which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Very clean with room for only one person at a time, so private as well. Kung Fu Tea has a lot of options and I'm still relatively new to the whole bubble tea thing, and I tend to stay in my lane of my one or two favorites, which are Thai tea with crystal boba (sometimes coffee jelly) and brown sugar milk tea with crystal boba. Thai tea is my favorite, so I ordered that. It was priced appropriately. I'm not sure that I really loved it -- it doesn't have any of the beautiful orange coloring traditional Thai tea has, and it was really strong on the tea flavor. Not so strong on the sweetened condensed milk flavor, haha. I should've guessed based on the pictures of the Thai tea I saw before going in. On the bright side, the boba was basically perfect in texture and flavor. While I'd give my drink a 3, I'm rating a 4 based on experience and what I'll call user error / faulty expectations or assumptions on my part. I'd like to go back and try the brown sugar milk tea, if they have it, or their coffee milk tea (which I know they have.

I had to update my review. It pains me to deduct a star. This is the third day in a row I've came to grab a drink. I came 15 min after the open time. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: the drinks are great, the personnel are very nice and take their time but for the amount of traffic they are getting, they ABSOLUTELY NEED to pick up the pace. Only 3 people in here and it takes 30 min to get a drink. The iPad used at the cashier has glitches and what's the use of offering Apple Pay if I can't use it. (I've tried to use it 3 times and their systems does not recognize it. I know my card works.) Also wanted to mention, 3 other people came in: 1 with an online order, 2 who wanted boba in there drink. The employees told them that the boba is not finished cooking yet so they would have to wait and the online order wasn't ready so they had to wait as long as I did. COVID GUIDELINES: I appreciate that they have now put up a social distance sign and everyone is, indeed, wearing a mask. The establishment is VERY clean. Contrary, It does bother me that they do not sanitize the iPad after everyone touches it to pay. Also, the pad that you put your card in to pay, is not bolted down, causing EVERYONE to have to hold it to slide their card in. Not sanitary. Some could say I'm over reacting but these are the little things that matter, especially in a pandemic. I would come more often if they fixed some of these things and also weren't so slow. I'll definitely update my review in a couple of weeks.

Quick and dirty: Good tea, friendly service, prices okay, eat to find Should you go: Yes most definitely! There are a lot of choice even for picky people Would I go back: Yes, there are so many flavors of looks to try. COVID Review: they were COVID friendly with shields. The tables though were too close together to create avid distance What to try: Try their Taro with Boba! Changes?: I think their regular was too sweet..I would do 50% or 30%. I also had a thirty and thought it was just as good.

Kung Fu Tea is a really cute, new bubble tea spot in MidCity Huntsville. As someone who loves boba, I knew I had to give it a try! Upon arrival it was pretty busy, but the line moved quickly. Fun plus, they decorated for Halloween! I decided to get my favorite, the taro milk tea boba. I was a little confused when it came out, because it's normally purple but it was a brownish color. I gave it a try anyways and it was okay. Not really anything I'd go back for or have fun remarks about. This location had a bunch of options, so I'd definitely go back but get something different next time. The staff were all very friendly and quick, but had to remake one of my drinks. Mistakes happen, but I just wasn't as impressed as I was excited to give it a try. 3/5

We've been here twice this week, and it hasn't disappointed! The boba is flavorful and chewy. I highly recommend the taro slush with boba and milk cap. It hits every time! The milk cap perfectly compliments the taro. It's mildly sweet, but cures your sweet tooth craving!

Ready enjoyed this place. Great teas with plenty of options and add ons. It was fairly pricey, but well worth it. The aesthetic is also spot on. We will definitely be back in the future.

It was our first time trying out a boba tea place and we were happy to have tried out this location. I can't say I was a fan of any of the teas , but the customer service was great.

A nice convenient place to satisfy your bubble tea fix in the Huntsville area. The drinks come out quickly. I tried the mango slush which was tasty, but could use some more crushed ice. The boba is cooked perfectly, the tea isn't too sweet, and real mango was mixed with it. I'll definitely revisit this place if I take another trip to Huntsville.

I've been missing their yummy products for a while; before they went brick and mortar, I was only ever able to catch them on Thursdays off University Drive, and they stopped doing that a few months prior to launching their full store. The full store is way out in Madison, which is pretty far out of the way for me, so it's been a long time since I last had any of their drinks. Luckily, I was passing through Madison about a week or two ago and had the time to stop in to see their new spot. It's really not far at all from where they'd park the trailer during their days in Madison; find it in the same shopping center as 2nd and Charles. Ample parking is available. Inside, you'll find a very adorably decorated, cozy, instagrammable boba shop. They have a loooot of drink choices (milk teas, fruit teas, coffees, etc), lots of types of boba, and their newest addition: soft serve ice cream! The ice cream comes in a lot of flavors that are pretty unique to this area: taro, Thai tea, mango, green tea, etc. Exact flavors vary from day to day but they have a small freezer with cups full you can also order. They also have a selection of fun snacks like Calbee chips, spicy rice crackers, and Pocky. I feel lucky we have two fabulous dedicated boba spots in the Huntsville area. ShakeiT Boba is my preferred spot if you want a more dessert or coffee-centric boba drink. Their Thai milk tea and their S'mores milk tea are delightful treats, although my most common order is a brown sugar or Thai coffee with coffee jelly. So so good and a great caffeine/happiness/energy boost! Their cups are gorgeous and the decorations and merch are so fun. I've noticed lots of familiar staff faces over the years too. I think it's a good sign that they can retain employees. And of course the family who owns the place is also often working hard behind the counter. :) Give this lovely business a try when you get the chance!
