Amazing! I went to get a simple oil change and asked a few questions about my lights on my dash, Anthony and Scott were really helpful on figuring out what all I needed for my truck. They went as far as helped me out on pricing and checked things out that I didn't even know was a problem. Had an issue with my steering wheel shaking when I would brake, especially at high speeds This place had good reviews so I thought I would check them out They are across the street from car spa on marsh and belt line Came in on a Saturday with no appointment around 1030am The waiting room was fairly full and they were working on quite a few cars when I arrived I was told the diagnostic would take around 30 minutes which it did and the service advisor stated I needed to resurface my rotors He gave me a price and said it would take around an hour and a half I walked down the road to lunch and stopped in a store. When I walked back my car was finished My car has not had any issues so far They seem to do quality work and they finished the job quickly without an appointment Great customer service also I'll be going back if my car has other issues read more

STAY AWAY unless you want to be ripped off. I went in for an oil change. They pulled me out of the waiting room and tried telling me I needed 3 different fluid flushes for $300 as it wasn't safe for me to be driving my car. I told the mechanic what I thought about him trying to scam me. When I returned to the waiting room, I called out to everyone asking who in the room was told they needed extra work done than what they brought their car in for. Four hands went up - 3 women and a man. I told all of them they were being scammed. One woman said she was just wondering if she authorized work that didn't need to be done and I confirmed it. I went to Kwik Kar on Marsh Lane in Addison Texas for a oil change. I paid for an oil change. A few weeks later I noticed my car was not running right. It sounded like my car needed more oil. I stopped by Kwik Kar again to have them check my oil level. The service man said that my car did not need any oil. I asked are you sure? He said yes. Well I took my car to have it checked by my Mechanic. He said I had no oil and my engine could of been destroyed. I paid 90.00 total for my visit to Kwik Kar. They never put the oil in my car. They are scam artists. This was also a problem with Jiffy Lube and Econ Lube. There has been several news stories about this type of bad behavior at several oil replacement shops. Do not take your car here. I recommend watching the service men put in your oil. Never wait in the waiting room. You can be scammed like I was. I was at the Keith Kar on Marsh Lane Only. Went there to get state inspection done. Quickly greeted and taken care by one of the staffs. My first impression was, he was NOT rude, but I didn't feel welcomed. The waiting-room was well organized and clean. There was another staff that I approached me to make sure that I was being helped, so I really appreciate that. Very helpful, courteous and quick service. I came on my lunchbreak around 11:30a and although it seemed busy, someone came out right away, asked what I needed and got me right in. Very friendly!!! Has Sunday hours which is always a plus. After leaving we noticed that something was dragging under the car--we took it back and they fixed it no problem. Not only did they fix it but they were extremely apologetic (it wasn't even that big of a deal). Lobby is clean and welcoming unlike some places that are small and uninviting to sit in. Wow! I'm completely blown away! I've stopped by twice now, and this location has given me great advice - the amazing thing is they have yet to take any money from me! I had a problem with all sorts of weird codes on my car. Changed some spark plugs and ignition coils, but the throttle was acting weird. I was losing power and my car wouldn't go above 10 mph when I "limped" in there. Clarence took immediate control, and mentioned that I might need a throttle body (which would have been a few hundred dollars), but upon closer inspection he found a wire that had been separated from the housing. We had to wait for the engine to cool - then went back by to reattach it, and voila! Problem fixed. I'm very confident (based on my experience) that these guys won't steer you wrong. When I asked Clarence how much they charge for a tune-up, his reply was that I had already done my own tune-up with the plugs and coils I replaced. These guys have heart, and have earned my 100% confidence and trust!! If you're anywhere near them and need help - just go by and say hi. You won't be sorry! read more

Not sure why they have such good reviews. Been here twice and both times -- horrible experience. My dad's a car guy, so naturally I'm a car girl. These folks are a joke. Horrible coordination with the "drop off/pick up" service. Gentleman that manned the phones was clueless when I phoned about my truck. Then noticed I was leaking oil (not a lot, but could see it in on the ground in my garage) and as it turns out, they put the wrong size filter on it. Like seriously?? Something that seems so simple like an oil change they make so difficult. Horrible service, horrible work. I will never return to this Kwik Kar. read more

They ruined a part on my car! Cannot recommend. I brought my car in for an oil change. Nobody even looked at me for a while; it was so long that the guy in front of me gave up and left. I proceeded. Two days later I was driving on the highway when I heard a whoosh followed by a loud noise. I was terrified and didn't know what happened. I got stranded. Apparently the metal cover under my engine only had ONE screw in place rather than four. It finally fell off and I was dragging it, so I couldn't drive. I had AAA come out, and they jacked up my car and took the remaining screw off so I could drive home. They told me it was completely careless work and ridiculous. The technician at Kwik Kar didn't screw the cover back on after changing the oil. I told the shop, they reimbursed me for the part a few days later. However, they did not offer to order it for me or help me in any way. They did not reimburse me for any other fees even though I had to miss work to get the part myself across town and also to being my car back in. They did nothing but attach the replacement part and send me on my way. I'll never go back. read more

Who thought going to a car shop would be so pleasant! Probably the nicest employees I have ever come in contact with. The shop owner takes a lot of pride in his shop. Several hours later I called to ask why I had not heard from them and they said we never got to it we will get to it tomorrow. I don't know why they were not honest to begin with. After the tow driver unloaded the car Mark looked at it in the parking lot, figured out the problem, solved the problem, and we were on our way. Took my Volkswagen Beetle in for an oil change. I was greeted by a friendly mechanic who explained to me the best oil for my car. Inside, where I waited, I used their FREE fast wifi and enjoyed some football on tv. I had very fast service and was checked out as soon as my car was finished. I believe in second chances, so I gave them one more try. They told me they had new management. Well, same results. My first experience, they changed my sons brake lights and oil. After a week, I noticed his lights were out again. We took the car back up there and they said there was short so they couldn't do anything. I couldn't find the short, so I went to Autozone bought a brake indicator. Changed it, lights still aren't working. I proceeded to buy new bulbs, got home and as I went to put the bulbs in, noticed they didn't put the bulbs all the in the first time. Pushed them in and all worked fine. LAZY!! Today, I'm the only person here for an oil change. I asked how long it would take '20 minutes,' ok I will wait then. I've been here for 1 hour and 20 minutes so I ask what's going on, they tell me, we are waiting for your filter to get here. Really, I could have gone home. Their response was ' we can put the old filter back in.' I almost want to stand outside and tell people to run away. read more
