While I waited, I watched them give other patrons consistent updates on progress. I even saw them advise one customer that she didn't need to get her oil changed after all, because she still had 2500 miles left since her last synthetic oil change. There is no "quick" at Kwik. I had a 1 hour oil change today. This facility does more than oil changes so the lanes you usually drive in and out of are blocked with cars that seem to be taking more time for service. The first thing they did when I drove up was to move my car into a waiting parking lot for 30 minutes. I have been to other Kwik Kar establishments and they set aside strictly oil changing lanes and it makes things go faster. This place needs to recognize they need to speed up the process! I've been here several times in the past and I've always had amazing experiences. These guys are truly honest which is hard to find. Today I had to bring my vehicle in for some issues it was having. Steve looked at it free of charge and let me know it was possible to fix but that it was not worth it for me. Instead of fixing it and taking my money knowing I'd have to be back in a few months he advised me to invest in a new vehicle. He showed me the problems with my current vehicle and why it will be a money pit and even gave me some suggestions on how to sell it without getting ripped off. Probably the best Kwik Kar I've ever been to. First off an employee immediately encouraged me to go to the dealership because my car took Synthetic oil, and their price is pretty pricey for Synthetic. Nobody has ever tried to help me save money that way and I really appreciated it. Very clean waiting room. The customer service was great- Scotty H kept me informed and even gave me pointers for my next service and saving money. Great experience, definitely preferred over my dealership, even despite the Synthetic oil price. read more

So this review is a long one so brace yourselves. This review comes after about 3 weeks of back and forth. I will say that I have given this business the chance to do right and they have not....so here it is. I have used this place for my oil changes, tire rotations, etc for about 2 years. They are close to my house and they have been fine. The owner has his German Shepard Zeus there, there is water, coffee and the insides are very clean. I liked the fact that they show you what's going with your car. I am not sure what has happened but they have totally changed and now my car is screwed up and my pocketbook is left to pay for it. Let's start 8/25....I am hearing a weird noise with my fan so I go by and this guy(whom I was told is no longer employed there) comes out and I tell him my issue. He first tells me that it's a normal noise...wrong, then he tells me 'oh that's the rubbing of plastic to metal and it's just needs to be lubricated...let me get some spray and it'll stop.' His words...no lie! I am not well educated when it comes to cars but even I know you can't lubricate bearing in a fan....so I question him about that and someone else says, 'Man that's her fan assembly!' I'm like okay that's what I thought. So I tell them I will come back and have it done. I got back on 8/26....they tell me it'll be 1 hour and we will have you on your way. I get an oil change and was supposed(I stress supposed) to have my belts levels etc checked....4.5 hours later I am a little peeved and ready to go. They finally bring my car around. I pay over $200 for the service and my gut is speaking, I get in my car and it's blowing hot air. So I sit in the driveway for about 15 minutes hoping the car will start to cool off. It doesn't. So I get one of the guys and tell him the issue. He takes my car back and after another hour or more....I ask how much longer and I have them tell me they can't figure out what's going on. Then the manager lets call him "C" brings my car out and says something wasn't put in right so something wasn't talking to the compressor blah, blah. Okay. So after I get my car back...my new fan sounds like a tractor! I was never able to hear my fan like this before. I mean it was soooo loud. I call and told them the issue and they said fans sound like this and it's normal. LIES!!!! So fast forward to 9/4...told y'all this was long! I'm leaving work in the am getting ready for my vacay. Car won't turn over! Battery is okay...I diagnose and it's either the starter or alternator. Have to get my car towed...but I get it towed to Christian Brothers. After they have my car for a bit...I get a call and they tell me it's my starter and they can fix that but then they comment on the fan assembly and the fact that I have been leaking radiator fluid because when the fan assembly was put back on the hose was not put back on properly...I have pictures and a video of the fluid leaking out. Wow! And the guy tells me your serpentine belt is really old and needs to be replaced. He asks when was your service done I tell him 8/26....he said well thankful your car didn't run hot. Yeah right?! So I contact this business and tell "C" that I need to talk to them about refund...something because they have done shoddy work and I'm having to pay someone else to fix their crap work. And I am not bringing my car back. I send him the pics offer to have Christian Brothers send him the video because I couldn't get it to send. I get the run around, we play phone tag because I am on vacay...so when we do finally speak, this man is raising his voice on the phone...which is a no no! He tells me some other crap...I honestly can't recall it verbatim because I was livid! So I tell him, "You know sir, don't worry about it. I'll take care of it." So he tells me in a much nicer voice, 'I'll look at your ticket and call you back.' That was over a week ago...so I can honestly say I tried to give them the opportunity to make it right. So with all this...DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Oil changes are okay but if you need other work done, go at your own risk people! That is all! read more

They did my oil change but what they didn't know is that I checked my car before coming in to see how honest they are. They lied about me needing an air filter change. My air filter is white and they told me it's dirty lol. Also they tried to get me to do an engine flush which is ridiculous because I regularly get oil changes and my car is barely 1 year old!!! My advice is to check what your car actually needs done before coming in. So you spend only on what you actually need. read more

Took my 2016 F150 here for a oil and filter change. After waiting 20 minutes the manager told me it would be $99.00 which was more than the dvertised price, but I said okay proceed. after another 20 minutes they said it was ready so I paid them and signed my receipt. About 1 hour later I looked at my receipt and saw they had checked that I declined a filter change, I called and talked to the manager and he told me it was a typo and assured me they had changed my filter and oil. after that I then noticed they had not charged me for the filter so I went up there and spoke to GG the manager and asked him to explain what was going on. Again he swore that they performed oil and filter change. I asked for my old filter anf he got mad, stormed off and me a random used filter and said "here see". So I took the filter home and look up the part# only to find it was for Leep products not Ford. At this point I was pretty sure he was lying. The next morning I was pissed so I pulled the dipstick to check it and guess what the oil was filthy it had not been changed! I ended up changing my oil and filter myself. These guys are LIARS and con artist. I wondered how many other victims that don't know they have been screwed by the Crooks. Avoid this place and these Jerks. $107.06 they stole from me!!! read more

To begin just walking in is an experience due to the attitude, professionalism and cleanliness. I have been going thru a lot with my car over the last year, having been told I needed to spend all kinds of money for a new transmission which was already replaced as well as the possibility of needing a new harness for the wiring because my car was getting stuck in reverse from time to time. I had called ahead of time and talked to Ryan, the owner, who assured me that I would get good care and that, if he was not available, Clarence, the manager, would do the same. We agreed that when funds were available, we would take care of the problem. On this particular day, I went in for an oil change and inspection. hoping the car would behave which, of course, it did not. After the inspection, it was backed out and stuck in reverse and would not come out of gear. Clarence backed it all the way around the building and pulled it into a bay to see what might be done so I could get it home for the time being. Needless to say, it was very upsetting. After a few minutes, he pulled the car back around in front of the shop and walked into lobby to see me holding a FUSE in his hand.....problem solved!!! At that moment he saved me at least 2 thousand dollars!!! What this shows me is that, after being told by various "professionals" that I needed to have all this work done on my, it very important to check reviews before going in. I originally posted a low review due to a misunderstanding in pricing on services. I thought the price quoted originally was fine but was unaware that they were going to do other work on it which made the price go up significantly but this was not the original understanding. I thought it was too high so I went to another shop charging half the amount.after the low review was posted the owner personally called me and was very apologetic about the situation and has been very accommodating going as far as to offer a free oil change to right the problem. Ryan, the Owner is extremely set on offering fantastic, top of the line, customer service and so it goes throughout the rest of the team. Mark, Ramone and Mike could not be more helpful if they tried. Mike is a little newer to the crew and beyond patient with me and my car while getting mileage in enough to have all systems up and running, so I would finally be able pass my inspection. It only took 3 times and evidently that was the magic number. I don't know about you, but being female doesn't make me stupid. I just don't know about cars. They are not my expertise, hence I seek professionals and expect them to direct me in a manner that helps me to understand my problem. I expect that they will be honest and fair. I want to know what is detrimental to keeping myself and others safe on the road. What has to be done now and what I can put on my list of necessary items for the next service needed. Got my oil changed and barely had to leave my desk. These guys went the extra mile and replaced a drain plug that was previously stripped by another service station (they drove to get the part too). They good on oil changes I give em that and they get an extra star for the big money walmart coffee machine inside. That dude inside with the dirty hands that does the tickets and ring you up talks nice but I don't know whats up cause he had this angry look on his face the whole time and I thought it was me at first but maybe that's just how he look. I'm gonna have to keep taking my girls car to the other kwik kar on trinity mills though cause that's the one with the mechanics that do repair work and everything good.
