These guys are great! I use them for all three of my vehicles. I first tried a garage just up the street from them several years ago, and the experience was typical. Then I took my cars to their respective dealerships, and it was expensive. The. I tried these guys and I heard them call customers by name as they walked in. One older lady came in on another visit and dropped off fresh baked cookies for the staff, and I was like "this is something special." I've been using them for years now and the facility is clean, the work is quick. If I don't want a service done, they make a note and never pressure me. I highly recommend them. read more

I've been to this location before and always had a positive experience, I went to have my oil changed today, I was in the waiting room when one the mechanics came in and said he needed to show me something, we went over to my car and he showed me this wretched looking air filter and asked me if wanted them to replace it, I initially said yes and he told me would be $50, I than changed my mind and told no! When I got home I took out MY air filter and it wasn't anything like he showed me! It appears Mr GG. tried to do the old bait and switch trick on me! Be sure to double check your oil levels after getting serviced here! If I could give zero stars, I would. Got charged for a full synthetic, got about a small puddle of oil filled and had to find another place to get my oil changed and check up on my engine. See how little oil there was when the another shop was working on it. No oil leaks to account for either. Unacceptable. read more

As a single-mom, I am comfortable taking my child there because they have an amazing playroom that will keep him busy while I wait. The wait, however is never, too long. I went in for an oil change about 2 weeks after going in for a state inspection and it was all good for the inspection. But when I went for the oil change all of a sudden my car was unsafe the break were bad and the oil cover was leaking and on and on. Well I know that's how it is with mechanics there is always something so I can brush that off but then this happened. I asked for them to tell me how much it was going to be for the oil change and the guy said he will and then when he was telling his bad my car was I asked how long it will be to do the oil change and how much he said we did the oil change already you were in our system and our prices are the same. That was not the point I wanted to weigh my options on cost with other places that also do oil changes so they did an oil change without my permission/consent. Let me first start by saying I love a good quickie. I decided last minute to cheat on my regular guy that services me and poked into Kwik Kar. There was a gang of guys working hard to bang out each customer as kwik and efficient as possible. There was one that even serenaded while he changed someone's oil. Added a great ambience to the moment while they completed a thorough inspection under my hood. It was so satisfying that I'll be back for more body work and a possible filter change to make sure my girl smells good. First not Kwik for just an oil change, second, just too pushy for me. I didn't want a discount to show my school ID, but he just kept asking and asking 3 then 4 times in front of all of the other customers until I gave in. Quite embarrassing. And then I only wanted an oil change and they were eager to add on all of the other stuff my car needed even though I didn't ask for it (my car already was diagnosed at the dealership). Wasted some time here. I'm sure they are very good at what they do, but they may try to get you in for one thing and then find something else wrong with your vehicle to get you back for more service. How to improve, retraining, keep to what the customer is needed. Offer additional services, but don't be pushy about it. If you're good, customers will return. Just not me. read more

I apologize. I didn't know that Yelp made your comments private while updating. I deleted my response to that. I still think you guy are liars and scammers. I have and have had no interest in talking to you since the incident. Once people had blatantly tried to scam me and then tried to make me think it didn't happen as if I wasn't there and then tried to scam me on checkout and then again tried to gas light me into it being my fault somehow, I just wanted to get out of there and get the inspection over with since you had my money already. I came back and your mechanic was nasty to me about re-inspecting the gas cap which I saw took less than a couple of minutes after you guys made me wait another 40 minutes to do. I would think after pissing a customer off, you might want to be nice and accomodating. You guys at least need to own up to making a "mistake." These guys put synthetic oil in my car when all I told them is I wanted an oil change and tried to charge me for it. It ended up that they said they didn't charge me for it, but I have no idea because they don't post how much they charge for an oil change anywhere. Not even on their website. When I said I didn't ask for synthetic oil it was argued that I did, then the mechanic claimed it was on my sticker they placed on my car last time which if true, moved the scam from last month to last year because if that was so, I didn't ask for it and I was ripped off back then. I was already pissed off because the mechanic talked in a way as if I needed hundreds of dollars of work on my car to pass inspection before he later after I said multiple times "I will fix it and bring it back" bothered to tell me that my inspection wasn't contingent on these hundreds of dollars of work. I'm sorry, I lost any level of trust at that point and I have no interest in what ever you guys have to say and certainly I will never take any cars to you anymore. ------------------------------------- Nobody called me last week. I got one phone call from your area code and I verified that it was a telemarketer robot. No messages were left that week. I started getting phone calls after my last update. I don't want to talk to you or your mechanics. The time for coming clean and apologies would have been the day you guys were scamming and gas lighting me which is why I have no interest. The only reason I pointed out in my last update that I haven't been contacted is that your standard response when someone mentions you guys were scamming them or other complaints was that they would be contacted immediately after investigating which at least in my case didn't happen. read more

Took my car in and Junior checked my levels, found the leak - a missing washer (no wonder the bolt was so hard to get off!) - and promptly topped me off and replaced the washer for me. Very impressed with the quickness, professionalism, and cleanliness from this Kwik Kar location. The service for an oil change took less than 30 minutes. They showed me that the last location I went to put the wrong oil in my car. The lobby was amazing! They had plenty of seating, you can enjoy some coffee, or water, and if you have children they have a play room! Took my car in for an estimate based on what I was told at the dealer. I'm always nervous and usually I go straight into panic mode anytime I have to visit the repair shop. Upon arrival I was greeted and Gary confirmed several of the quoted repairs weren't needed. I'm terrible with names but every individual I came in contact with was courteous, professional and they even took the time to show me the issues with my car and explain why the repairs were necessary. Do not go to this place. They are dishonest and shady. I went in for the oil change because I saw a deal on Groupon. I went in and haven't bought Groupon just yet. They said I have to pay directly to them instead since I haven't bought through Groupon yet. So I complied as they demanded. They did horrible job doing oil change. I found out this few months later when my engine seemed to make noise. They did not tighten engine oil plug and filter very well. Oil leaked out and engine was running without oil. My engine on my car was gone by then. I didn't know how to prove it was their doing so I did not sue them. I also got the light bulb in tail light exchanged at the same time. But they also did half job on this. They did not put back the interior trim back in. Just left it in the trunk... I found out this later I opened my trunk. Also their internet went out when I needed to pay. They held my car hostage for like 2.5 hours until internet was back on and credit card machine was operating again. This was the worst mechanic shop I have ever been to. Also the workers were super rude and unprofessional. They kept using foul languages even in front of customers. You may really end up damaging your vehicle here if you let these guys touch your car. I can't say for other Kwik Kar franchise stores, but this Kwik Kar location one is not the place for you to go. You may end up needing to pay for an engine. read more

I live in Wylie...which is not close to this place. BUT I come here because these guys are SO THOROUGH and Detail oriented. (Super friendly & patient too) Jason has helped me twice now and he is so efficient and thoughtful in pointing out details. I have an older car. I'm babying it to last as long as possible because I'm cheap. This place looks out for me. I brought it in today thinking I needed The waiting room is like a nice house living room. Big comfy chairs, couple of tv's, coffee/tea bar, clean restrooms & free WiFi. While I waited for my oil change, I witnessed them sanitizing & wiping down counters, chairs, tables and doors. I've been here three times now and I'll keep coming back because of the friendly and quick service. I've taken my car here for a couple of oil changes, and an inspection. Every time the service has been cordial and what short time I have to wait, it's spent in a comfy wait room. This last visit they had hand sanitizer and the wait room was spread out enough to where you still felt a good social distance was being maintained. They have both an air conditioned wait areas as well as tables outside, so you have options. The pricing is totally reasonable and it's always a pleasant experience. After moving to this area a year ago, I don't see a reason to go anywhere else for my vehicle maintenance. read more

My experience at this location was terrible. I had gone the day before and received great service, but today, that was no longer the case. I was beyond disappointed. I took my second vehicle in for a state inspection. The place had an hour left before closing and customers were there. I pulled in and was greeted by a man who told me to fill out a form. He walked away before I could ask any questions and took it from me when I finished. He proceeded to stand somewhere while another man jumped into my car. He sped around the parking lot for a minute and parked my car on the side of the building, as if he finished. Low and behold, he returns to key without actually doing anything. He says my emergency break needs tightening and without it, I won't pass. I asked how much, and he proceeds to walk away to "find the supervisor." He didn't "find" anyone. He asked everyone standing around. I asked him the quote and suddenly he says $149+. I don't know where he came up with that, but I proceed to leave. I am beyond unhappy. I was told to come in the morning if I wanted to, but I will not return to this place. The service that I had received the day before must have been a one-time-only thing, because today's work was unacceptable. I felt disrespected and ignored. All I wanted was an inspection, and all I got was nothing. read more
