Rude service, horrible pizza. Pizza Classics used to be good. Then they hired the wrong people and the service went downhill - the food also. One delivery girl forgot to bring peppers and cheese (that should be standard practice to carry those - for pizza delivery places,) When the person at the shop dispatched her to come back out, she said she would not 'drive up our driveway' again. So we had to go out to get the stuff from her. Then, guess what? We started eating the pizza and it was RAW!!!! So we immediately called them - thinking they would apologize and offer a refund - or coupons for a free pizza in the future. But no, the girl just answered the phone and said 'oh okay' when we said we were so unhappy with their service and raw food. It's like they are on drugs or asleep when they make this food. They are horrible!!!! ...and they just don't care. Order from Dominoes instead. At least they are reliable, don't have rude employees, and the pizza is not raw dough. read more

WOW...I can't believe this place! True story - the family decided to switch up Pizza Night with a different pizza place with delivery in an area with limited options. We were told the pizzas would be delivered in 45 - 50 minutes. Not a problem for some new pie. So, an hour and a half ticks off the clock and NO pizzas. We call, raise a little hell and around the 2 hour mark, the owner of Pizza Classics delivers the pizzas in person. Very nice fellow, very apologetic, does not charge for the order and offers a free pizza on our next order. Now that's great customer service. Thank you Billy Bonham! Fast forward 4 months and I suggest giving Pizza Classics another chance - to much debate from the family. So, we place the order, same order as last time - 2 pizzas. We explain the ordeal from last time and explain that the owner offered us a free pizza. The kid on the other end of the line explained that he had to verify that with the owner. Not a problem. So, 45 - 50 minutes, your pizzas will be delivered. Awesome! At the 60 minute mark, 1 hour after ordering, no pizza delivery yet. So we call to find out the status of the delivery. The kid on yhe phone explains that he never heard back from the owner, so they never make the order and no delivery. You have got to be kidding me!!! Fool me once, Shame on you. Fool me twice, Shame on me. We ordered 2 pizzas. One pizza was going to be Free according to the owner, and we were going to pay for the other. Do you think we would not have paid for both with prompt delivery and an explanation of not being able to verify with the owner. Absolutely pay, with tip for the driver. But no, the staff chose to ignore our entire order and not bother to pick up the phone to inform us of their bad decisions. With that said, I am sorry Billy Bonham, but I will never give Pizza Classic another chance. What you need to do is hire a competent staff that can run your business when you are away. These Millennials that you employ have no perceived ownership of your business and are only there because they feel they are entitled to you providing them a paycheck. I have eaten at this place a few times. There has been like 3 owners. Given, the location is a bit awkward. I liked it better when they were off Main st. Their Pizza Buffet is good. I went in today craving pizza and did not want Dominos. Kyle has an over abundance of pizza places, especially with the new Panhandlers pizza that just opened today. I walked into this place and there was no one in the place. I had joked about not getting the buffet since there were 2 pizzas on the bar and who knows how long they had been sitting here. The owner explained he just had a huge crowd come in. He asked me what kind of pizza I wanted and brought it to me fresh. The pizza was hot, not over cooked, veggies were crisp. I like that the sauce was more tomato tasting and not tangy like Papa Murphy's. They moved their soda cooler to behind the counter. It used to be next to the bar. The previous owner allowed you to drink as much as you want. The new owner gives you 2 cans of soda. I only got one. He did not offer a 2nd can. We made small talk about doing business in Kyle and the other businesses around Kyle. He is very down to earth and friendly. He was attentive to my needs while eating there. Kyle does have way too many pizza and Mexican food places. This place is one of the better pizza places. Much better than Dominos or Fox's Den. read more

This is the best pizza in town, for sure. I had to do some work to a table in their kitchen and when I went back, I noticed them back there cutting fresh vegetables, mixing the dough and making their own marinara sauce. I was really impressed that they make everything in house. I took a pizza in partial trade, and it was fantastic! I saw people complaining about their pizza being too greasy... Yeah, if you're gonna whine about grease, are you sure that a pizza shop is where you should be eating lunch? I love little one owner shops like this. The dude takes serious pride in his business, I seriously recommend you give it a shot. And just for the record, the guy just bought this place a few years ago. I've been eating at pizza classics for about 20 years now. The closest location to Kyle was in San Marcos so it was always a treat when Friday night came around and we made the drive to San Marcos to pick up our usual Canadian bacon and mushroom pizza! Fast forward 20 years and my husband and I now live in the Buda/Kyle area (again) and have reconnected with our dear friend Pizza Classics. This pizza is hands down the best pizza around. The service is always great and the pizza always hot when we get there to pick it up. The pepperoni rolls are also to die for! I would say they're better than Double Dave's. My 3 year old won't eat pizza from anywhere else. We won't be buying pizza from anywhere else. read more

I read some of the reviews that gave a bad review. I don't get it... First of all, they are the only pizza place I know that you don't even need to ask for extra cheese to get a thick stretchy cheese. I have paid up to $2.00 extra at the big name pizza places and still the pizza has little cheese that taste like plastic. I agree that the delivery needs some work but the product is well worth the wait. I love their pizza and everyone that I introduce to Pizza Classic in Kyle always love it as well. This review is based on the repeated pick up of a specific item off of their menu. I always get the Margarita pizza with extra garlic. That being said is the wait time away is realistic for the product I get? Yes. Have I ever been unsatisfied with the pizza that I've ordered, never. I have always found the staff to be very polite and accommodating given the fact that I'm also polite with them. This is not chain pizza, and everyone makes mistakes. However this is a local business trying to do it right. I will add the caveat that tonight they had to deal with any infernal mess on the interstate, and were so apologetic and thankful that as a pick up customer I was willing to wait longer than normal to get what I wanted. read more

I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm usually a lunch time/ early dinner, delivery only kind of guy. I've driven past the store front a few times running errands before or after their business hours so this is purely based on the delivery service and meal quality. I've never dined in at the store before. The pizza, calzones and sub-sandwiches are a nice change to the conveyor pizza ovens at the national chains. The dough quality and freshness are on par. They aren't quite NY style like they aim for, but the flavor profile is pretty much spot on. I haven't gotten to the desserts yet but based on the menu, they seem relaible to satiate a sweet tooth. The wings.... easily the most forgettable thing on the menu. Too wet, no crispy skin on the wing, very much consistent with a ride through an oven. Other than, that the drivers are friendly, the early morning shift that answers calls is definitely the better staff in terms of friendliness. Definitely worth a try. The 4 star rating is based on the pizza quality ONLY. The pizza is great, but this is not a true "dine-in" location and nobody should expect a good dining experience. If you plan on dining in, expect to eat off of paper plates with pastic forks and knives, and don't count on having "just water" to drink unless you want to buy bottled water. The table coverings have worn significantly since the current pictures were taken and are in dire need of replacement. To sum it up, I will never eat inside this establishment again. Tried Pizza Classics for the first time on Sunday, after having watched our Seahawks come back for a miracle win over the Packers, and during halftime of watching our Patriots crush the Colts :-) We phone ordered for take out so we could come back and watch the rest of the game. My order was for a small pizza with very light sauce (stupid ulcer- don't tell my doctor I even had pizza!), Canadian bacon, mushrooms and extra cheese. Hubby got half sausage & onion, half Hawaiian. We got our pizzas, which were nice and hot, and took them home. They did a wonderful job accommodating my light sauce request, but I think next time I will not order the extra cheese - seems like they are pretty generous by what was on my hubby's pizza. (My error, no fault of theirs.) The pizza was quite tasty - my only personal preference would be if the crust were just a few milimeters thicker. I do appreciate the fact that even though it was a thinner crust pizza, it wasn't super crispy like some others are. I never want my pizza to seem like the base is made of crackers. It still had that nice "chew" to it that you want from a pizza crust. You can definitely tell the dough is fresh, and the sauce is homemade. Hubby enjoyed his as well. We will be back! read more

Has great reviews and wonderful service but pizza is nothing to brag about. I am not from the area so maybe this is the best in the area but that doesn't say alot. We ordered a 4 item pizza and it was loaded with cheese but not many other toppings. The taste reminded me of a store box pizza you make at home. It was good but not what I would consider 4 stars. It is usually hard for me to not eat half a pizza and I had no problem stopping with this one. If I have a craving for pizza I want great stuff loaded with goodies. This was not that. read more

Was working in Kyle today and wanted something kinda lite because I had a couple tacos for breakfast and wasn't feeling real hungry. I looked up places around me and this place popped up, after looking at the menu I knew I didn't want a whole pizza but I noticed the pizza rolls, figured I'd grab a couple rolls and that should do the job. I get to the place and 3 rolls was the minimum which was perfect. NO DOUBT THE BEST PIZZA ROLLS I've had, so I'm sure the pizza is good also. This place in Kyle is really good pizza they have several specialty pizzas that are super good and it's definitely where we order if we weren't heading into Austin . The orders come up quick and they're so much better than your typical chain Pizza. No pictures because when the food comes it smells so good and look so delicious we just start eating it and I forget to take a pic. Solid pizza place. Staying in Kyle for about a week, I was hoping to find some good pizza. The girl who took my order was also the one who delivered it, that gave me the feeling it was a personable independent place. The pizza was good, I give it a 7/10, and that's pretty good as I'm very picky. The wings were ok, could be crispier. But I guess that's just a thing with pizza place wings. Also had a salad and a piece of cake (I shared :) There's a little room for improvement but for what I expected here in a relatively small town, it was pretty good, I expect they don't disappoint many people. read more

This is by far the best pizza shop in kyle. Definitely worth checking out. I frequent this place for weeks at a time when I go on a pizza binge (we've all been there, don't judge). I was impressed how quickly they made me feel at home, they remembered my name by my third visit. Phenomenal customer service! Well I found this place by using YELP and I wanted to find something wrong with it, do to I am a Pizza nut! I unforgettably COULD NOT find anything wrong. First off the pizza was out of this world, I can tell they use fresh vegetables and the cheese was also fresh. The crust has a slight sweet taste to it. My wife ordered a classic sub and as she let me taste it I was divided if I wanted to continue to eat my pizza or her sub. She convinced me it was better for my present health to eat my pizza. Greasy mess. A great deal of the toppings had slid off the pizza when it was delivered. The box was soaked with grease. Basically crust covered in a ton of sauce. More than 1/2 a large pizza went in the trash. The cinnamon sticks were barely dusted with topping. Waste of $26. Only positive was the homemade icing was really good. The driver didn't have cheese or peppers- which should be standard not something you have to ask for. Very disappointing experience. read more

Holy!, Just moved to town and tried to order a cheese pizza and a calzone. Nothing fancy, After being placed on hold and hung up on once I was told out of the gates that my house was $5.50 delivery charge because I lived in a higher end neighborhood (Blanco Vista). It is closer to this location than most of the rest of Kyle. Then they told me that chicken and meatball each count as two toppings. Talk about gouging the prices. 4.5 STARS! It's just pizza I know BUT it's the best damn pizza in Texas! Sure they moved out of San Marcos. Competition was at every street corner.
