Full disclosure, I got the mass advertised Kyle's Krispy Chicken Sandwich and a Thai Salad to pair with it. Now you'd think that for their "most popular" burger, it would be well thought out and balanced without any manual adjustments. Unfortunately, the burger looked like something that came out of a school cafeteria. Furthermore, I am normally a fan of pickles, but even then I thought the pickles overpowered the chicken and the rest of the burger. There was also no veggies to lighten up the burger (which is desperately needed; take inspiration from the McChicken with shredded lettuce). The sauce was good though, and the chicken was tender. Now, on the other hand, the Thai salad completely lacked substance. With lettuce and fried onions and carrots, which actually had a great texture combination, it felt like something was missing. Nevertheless, the sauce was really good once again, so props to Kyle's for nailing the sauce. When you combine these two items on the menu, it actually works surprisingly well because the burger lacked the freshness, and the salad lacked the substance. Good burgers for a good cause. There was a line but they had multiple people taking orders and it went quickly. Their menu is the perfect size with a bit of variety for each person. I ordered the Cheesy Pig with fries and a chocolate chip cookie. I was impressed by how reasonable their prices are considering a percentage is going to a good cause each month. The burger was a great size and had decent flavor. I thought it had too much lettuce but it wasn't a big deal. The bun was fantastic and tied the whole burger together. My coworker ordered the special buffalo bleu burger and really enjoyed it. We both thought that the fries were cut into too small of pieces and it made it a pain to eat/dip. Kyle's has grown on me When this location first opened, I attended a Yelp Event and followed up the experience with some lunch dates. I was not impressed by the size to price ratio and the taste of the food I tried. I'm happy to say that I've figured both out. First the portions. The size is actually what I should be eating. Smaller burgers, smaller sides, smaller salads, smaller me. It's not something our bodies may be used to and therefore, I felt hungry in the afternoon. Eating healthier in general also helps combat the hunger. And making it a "Pair" with a sandwich and salad and not fries, helps too. Sure it sets you back almost $11 with tax (drinking water) but it's easy and I find it filling. For the food, it's the Rustic Tuscan Chicken Sandwich & Farmhouse Salad is my new go-to at Kyle's. It's healthier than a Double Double and supports a good cause. But you already know all about the charities. If you don't, please come in and ask how Kyle's is helping the community. There's still some flavors in the burgers and fries I'm not keen on so I'm sticking with the chicken and salad. The mountain climber (with no cheese) is my go to burger from Kyle's Kitchen! The fries are always perfectly crispy and well seasoned too. I like my fries with a side of garlic aioli (would recommend trying if you love garlic like me!) Kyle's Kitchen is one of my favorite places to grab lunch or dinner for a good price! I discovered this place while visiting my mom at a nearby care home. The food was delicious! I love the selections and prompt preparation and service. I wish they could open one in my town in the Central Valley! I am a senior and was by myself; but I think it's a great place for families with any ages of children. I love the whole idea behind this place! I haven't met Kyle but hope to see him sometime. I like the slight sweetness to the rolls. The chicken is perfectly crisp, the pickle adds that sweetness. A great sandwich. I prefer the onion strings over the fries, which is an option. You can even have a scoop of ice cream if you can stuff it in. How could I forget my stop in Goleta? After leaving Tabano Hollow Open Space dog park, I looked on Yelp for something quick and easy for lunch. Kyle's Kitchen came up as the closest, so why not, since it had a dog friendly patio. Walked in and I guess I looked a little clueless, but the friendly worker asked if it was my first time here, and then explained how it works. I tried their Makin Bleu Bacon, fire grilled beef, crisp bacon, bleu cheese, tomatoes, caramelized onions, lettuce, garlic aioli, brioche bun....very good! Nice crispy fries! Make sure you Pair It because it includes a drink. The burger size is a little smaller than some but good quality meat! The patio worked out well. Quite a number of people sitting outside and some stopped to say hello to Cako. I can't remember seeing heat lamps, but there were these big umbrellas for shade. I have been going here for a while always expecting a different result, give them another chance but there is no consistency, especially with their different locations. I think the pandemic especially has had an effect on their quality. The fries have gone from soggy to over done. Their burgers are sometimes amazing other a disappointment same with their salads. The may time I went I had the ahi salad (full size) and my co worker had the pair it combo with kale caesar (which is "small") and burger. My salad was the same size as the small and I paid almost 15 dollars for it. It was super salty and overpowered with the tangerines. My co worker said the same thing about his salad being over powered with salt. Dropped a star in the update for reasons I detail below-mostly due to lackluster service from one of the servers and also because of unsanitary food handling. My first night back in town yesterday after a long drive down from the Bay Area, I decided to grab a burger at Kyle's with my mom. Arrived at 6:10 on Saturday and I noted to the cashier that I was bummed that I just missed Happy Hour ($4.50 burgers). She gave me a look of indifference. Decided on the Pick 2 (11.75) of the bacon cheeseburger and soup (wild rice and chicken), plus an order of fries. (Soup was for my mother who wasn't hungry enough for anything else). Food came a few minutes later. A very tall and polite young man brought the food along with the cashier. I asked him for some ranch and he brought it promptly and was just very polite and seemed happy to be at work. I say this because his attitude was very different from his female counterpart. It was a striking contrast. On to the food! Mom's soup was hot and very good, according to her. It looked thick with rice, chicken and veggies and was a good size bowl. It came with an adorable little bun. Fries were barely warm and a little hard. Burger was delicious-well seasoned and smoky from the bacon. It just needed extra mayo for the unadorned top bun. So after the first bite I got up and asked the cashier for extra mayo and then took a seat, expecting it would be brought to the table as they did with the rest of the food. After a couple of minutes I looked over at the counter and the cashier was standing there looking at her phone. Not wanting to disturb her I went up to the counter near the condiments and got the attention of a member of kitchen staff and asked for mayo. Only then did the cashier look up and say, I got it for you. She then handed me a little plastic cup of mayo and I thanked her for it. Fries were cold by then. I'd eaten one or two so far and asked cashier to have the kitchen make another order as they were clearly not fresh to begin with. She just kind of looked at me and brought the cold fries to the cooks. After a few minutes I got up to get my fries just as soon as the cook handed them to the male server, and they were perfectly hot and fresh! Just the thing to have with that wonderful burger, which was still delicious at room temp. FOOD- 4 stars SERVICE- 3 stars for the inattentive, bored female server VALUE- 3 stars because $17 is rather steep for a medium sized burger, large order of fries and a bowl of soup. If I'd come at Happy Hour, it would've been a couple bucks cheaper. HYGIENE-1 Star because I witnessed a (shorter) male worker (who later took orders at the register) throw plastic bags of ice on the dirty floor rug in front of the ice machine to smash/separate the cubes, and then he opened the bags into the ice reservoir. The plastic bags dropped into the reservoir each time, along with dirt and debris from the rug, presumably. Highly unsanitary and pretty scary. read more

This place is so cute! I love the look of everything--the writing on the walls, the menus, the setup with booths and high tables and other low tables, the fundraiser timeline, etc!!! It feels positive and upbeat as soon as you walk in the door. All the employees have smiles on their faces and greet everyone as they walk in the door. I have come here once before (but at one of the other locations) and had the Pick 2. I did something similar, except this time I used the AXXESS deal for BOGO burger or salad. It turns out that I needed lunch for tomorrow (because I was too lazy to mean prep) and so I ordered a Mountain Climber burger for dinner and a Ahi Tuna salad (with dressing on the side) for lunch tomorrow. Everything looks so delicious. In fact, I couldn't even wait till I drove 10 minutes home to eat my burger, I ended up eating it on the drive and it was gone before I got out of the car.
