First let me share with you the restaurant was not busy today at 4:45pm. The restaurant was not clean, not the tables or floors, we sat in the booth 3rd from the bathroom and the bottom fell to the floor. Please look under the seat to see all the filth. Now let's look at the food the fries were hot and tasty. Neither mine or my wife's burgers were hot!! We did not ask for our burgers to be recooked as it is now 5pm and apparently shift change as the employees that were standing around are now slapping hand, high five and shoulder play. Not to mention playing with the young girls st the counter. Very very disappointed in our entire experience here at Kyle's. The sandwiches were okay the tuna steak sandwich was sort of chewy it was a large cut that was not cooked very well. I'd recommend thinly slicing this after it is done cooking so that it covered the entire bun. Our 8 year old who loves burgers said 1/5 on the burger she said it was a bad combination of flavors. read more

After trying this place out for the second time it deserves 2 more stars!! Once again I experienced great service and I'd like to give a special shout out to Maria who was our waitress for the night. Catering to a party of about 10 people is not easy but she sure had it down and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. This time I ordered the Bacon & Egg Burger which is a fire grilled burger with a fried egg, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and arugula served on their freshly made brioche bun. I ordered an extra patty to bump up the beef and it was the best tasting burger I've had in awhile! I also ordered the Quinoa Keen-what? salad on the side. This salad is very light and refreshing. It comes with Wild Arugula, organic quinoa, roasted almonds, organic carrots, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Stinky Pig Fries - Are they really stinky? Not really so don't let the name scare you away! These French fries come with crispy bacon, bleu cheese crumbles (hence the word stinky) and a side of ranch. These are a nice side item to munch on and the fries are skinny so you will find yourself eating them like popcorn. Don't worry the bleu cheese wasn't as pungent as you would think so give this a try! OH! and last but not least I was lucky to try one of their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies served right out of the oven! OMG talk about melt in your mouth cookie-gasm!!! They have an excellent menu of burgers and salads, I enjoyed both the veggie burger as well as the ahi salad. Prices are more than fair, quality and portion size are perfect as well. Kyle's kitchen has the best French fries in the world. Perfect amount of crispy to potato ratio. Seasoning is just right! Not too much, not too little, but just right. And not only that, if you're feeling like having a plain kids meal as an adult like myself, they don't judge you at all and are very helpful. You should try getting the crispy chicken strips with ranch and mixing it with ketchup. I call it ranchup. read more

Glad I gave this place another go. The staff are on point for cleaning. As soon as guests leave, they clean up the tables with a solid wipe down. Food is still consistent and satisfying. Kyles has been my family's "go-to" place during COVID and "back to school". We have gone to Kyles weekly since they opened and we love Silvergreens too. Servers are always wonderful. It is easy to customize food orders (I need the jalapeños to come off my Kickin' Cowboy) Kyles is such a positive place (they gave us a giggle when they offered a roll of toilet paper with the take out orders during COVID shut down). They have a cool ice cream menu (pun intended). You have to try their ice cream-cookie sandwiches and their shakes. And Kyles has a great wine list. Thank you Kyle and Family! read more

This is for the Chapala location only... The perception does not align with the reality. A little while ago they advertised " grass fed beef " on their burgers. We gave it a try, and the first few times the burgers were great. Freshly cooked, like you would expect, but lately they are OBVIOUSLY pre cooked or frozen and then cooked or REHEATED when you order. If you are going to charge $7-$9 for a burger or a double-meat burger, please cook it fresh. The habit charges half the price and the burger tastes twice as good, if not better. I don't know if it is laziness of the cooks, who want to precook as many patties as they can, but without fail the burger patties are borderline cold and dry - and this means frozen first or precooked to save time. Either way, I'm done patronizing this place when I can go two more blocks to the Habit where they cook their burgers fresh. Online menu doesn't match the actual menu, many times their soups are not updated online. The concept of this place is nice, but it just doesn't fit the reality of what you get. Fries are in tiny little pieces and often times, like the burgers, not fresh. Broken little pieces of French fries and you charge $3 for them. I'd rather go to the Habit or In-N-Out. read more

I know we have many burger choices here locally, but if you haven't done so, give Kyle's (burger) choices a test drive. Food is well prepared and the lettuce, tomato, onions are super fresh. Outside dining is currently available (as of this posting). Since I was working, I opted for on-line ordering, and curbside pick up. It was quick and easy, had my order in a matter of minutes, upon arrival. Big selection of salads as well. Put this on your lunch list during "lunch hour", or if your out-and-about!! I brought 3 (well behaved) young boys here for lunch and our cashier was patient as they ordered for themselves. Our orders came out with very little wait. The fries were hot and the buns were fluffy, fresh and delicious. I never have any trouble at this location and think downtown could learn a thing or two from this team. Great place, great food, great value, and they support a great cause. This place functions like that of a fast food place, without the fast-paced environment. You grab a menu at the entrance, decide what you want, order at the cashier, and get drinks from the soda fountain machine. Seat yourself (there is a good amount of seats inside and outside) and your food will be served to your table when it's ready! I ordered the Earth Burger. It has avocado and caramelized onions, which were the two main components that compelled me to try this burger. The veggie patty... was pretty thin, and crumbled easily. Not sure what I was expecting, considering that I wasn't eating a meat patty. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my burger, and so did my family! I'm not too much of a fry person, but their fries were tasty. I personally don't think the extra few bucks for a side w/ the burger is worth the price of the $9 combo either (depending on the price of the burger you buy); I'd rather buy the burger by itself. There was a "Service Fee" added to my bill without any apparent disclosure. when i asked, i was told it was to cover increased costs and other things. if they're not making enough money, they should just increase the price instead of slipping in an extra fee hoping people won't notice. I was given two gift cards through my employer, and these gift cards are useless for online orders with delivery. I contacted the company about the issue and was told they will fix it, and a month later it still is not fixed. It's as if Kyle's kitchen does not care about the customers to keep their word and fix this problem after saying they would. Very poor integrity and poor leadership read more

I am a big fan of this place. The first time I visited, I assumed it was just a burger joint. But it's so much more! Kyle's has every type of burger (beef, veggie, ahi tuna...), a variety of salads, rotating soups, and a nice selection of ice cream flavors. My favorite thing to order is a "pair it" burger with a side salad (read: basically a full-sized salad...the portions are quite large!). Try the mountain climber burger for something spicy, and the kale cranberry salad if you're into kale. You also can't go wrong with the fries! Beyond the food, I'm so impressed with the community engagement at Kyle's. They clearly support local charities, which they advertise on the walls. If anything, the beef burger patty could be better. I sometimes find them to be a little on the dry side. But the high-quality toppings and fresh-baked brioche buns make up for the burger itself. read more

This place was awesome! The restaurant itself is cute with an outside seating area. Everyone that was working in the restaurant was really helpful and nice. The prices are very reasonable with $6 for most burgers and $10 to make it a meal. I got the mountain climber, it was delicious and the fries are full of flavor with a nice crunch. Wanted a burger coming home from up North on a road trip so found this place in Yelp. My daughter and I ended up getting fried chicken and a fried chicken sandwich because it looked so yummy. The sandwich was nothing special but the chicken was really good so I ended up just eating the chicken by itself. Fries were good but I have to say you can taste that the ketchup was not Heinz and I'm a stickler for that. Husband had a BBQ burger that he really enjoyed. Soda fountain was average with Pepsi products. Not a fan of that brand. Iced tea was fresh and hit the a spot. read more

Staying in Goleta for a weekend getaway to explore Santa Barbara and this place was recommended by the front desk for the hotel. First impression, a nice and modern burger joint, but upon learning more about it, turns out that the place donates a portion of the proceeds to a special needs cause. Inspired by Kyle, a really sweet boy it seems, this place is a social impact business and I'm definitely all for that. Food was really good, ordered the mountain climber with the stinky pig fries and my husband got the bacon and egg burger. the brioche bun was perfectly buttery, the lettuce and jalapeños fresh, and the burger itself was packed really well. I was expecting it to be super messy, but the burger stayed in tact super well throughout. The price was also reasonable- $9 for basic burger, fries and soda. Plus a dollar or so depending on the types of burger and fries you choose. Service was also not bad. Wasn't the best by any means, but enough to not be rude. All in all, great food for a great cause. Nah. I kept it pretty short and to the point but I'll expand since the business manager is so aggro and needs clarification. My review is for the restaurant and adult staff only, and has nothing in anyway to do with their child mascot who is not in control of the management or theme of this restaurant chain. While it's true, this place can't even make a decent french fry and their food is overpriced I recommend avoiding at all costs, their business manager or whoever is replying to people is a creep and bully. Don't go to this place, they'll try to doxx you if you do or say something they don't like. Not cool. Having Kyle walk around while people are eating as if to show him off seems tacky and he likes he is paraded around Kyle's locations like a spectacle. While I understand that Kyle has no control over this, being that he is a child, it seems like distasteful practice. read more
