I walked was greeted by staff had a seat and ordered from the iPad which is so convenient u place ur order, and waitress comes confirms everything and they bring out complimentary pickled radish and coleslaw which slapped the hell out me because why have I never tried pickled radish please look below for every delicious item I'm talking about. Overall service was amazing I was being helped by Flora the whole time and let me say she is the face of that place just helping everyone left and right and making sure everyone is just satisfied with everything and vibes were just over and beyond I'm super happy with everything and for sure going to be added to one of my staples that I will be coming to very often. THANK YOU!

I highly recommend the combo, so that you can taste multiple options. It's a very cool energy inside. Relaxed, but not stuffy. I like that we can just order from the machine at the table. I love when places have the Kpop music videos and this place has a large tv playing videos. It's just fun and I find myself dancing and eating it makes eating a fun time We have not received the food yet, but this location is highly recommended to us! Very excited!

One of my fav korean fried chicken spot. The tteokbeokki is $12 and they give u chicken and egg with it. Whereas other places tteokbeokki is at least $16. The chicken meat also tastes healthier. Parking is the typical valet at ktown (i think $5?)

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Kyochon has always had such great chicken, the soy garlic is always consistent and delicious. My mother and I came in for DineLA, it came with 10 piece chicken, 2 beers, chicken gizzard, and replaced the cheese balls for rice cakes! It's not too different from a regular combo that they have (similar items and still $45 for 2 people). I love it here!

Friendly service, great price and yummy food.. takes time to get but it is worth the wait. We love the crispy fries, the soy ginger chicken and honey chicken. The meal deal is a great value, 20$ for all that food and a drink!

As we walked in the cashier remembered my fiance's constant visit and greeted us warmly. The store looks much nicer. They have complimentary coleslaw and radish too. The wings were perfect crispiness and sauce was good in my opinion too! Just needed a bit more for me. Store is small.

I was craving Korean fried chicken and decided to try Kyochon. I ordered the 20 pc yangnyeom and original fried chicken wings. The wings came out hot and crispy. The yangnyeom was a bit on the sweeter end and not as spicy as I preferred, but it was still pretty yummy. The original wings were crispy and not too oily. We also ordered the truffle fries trio which came with cheese seasoned cassava chips, sweet potato wedges and fries. The truffle trio set was so good, I would say it is a must order. The chips and fries were crispy and well seasoned. Service was excellent! The servers there were attentive and kind. The restaurant is on the smaller end with limited seating, so it might be best to take it to go or eat in your car. Luckily, we were able to grab seats. There is parking in a shared lot with other businesses in a busy plaza. Would come back!!

Updated review after their reopening: Went to here last night since we were close by. The restaurant took over the next door space and they probably got a little bit more seats (42 capacity) but looks like they dedicated much of the expansion to a bigger kitchen and a proper takeout counter. If you're taking out there's a nicer seating area / lounge to wait on. We dined in because I'm with my son who loves this place and will eat here anytime we are in the area. So what's new? Well they have automated ordering system and also a robot delivering your food. Not really sure what they're called but wish I took a video because that thing kept bumping the table lol don't put your hand on the edge when it is delivering your order. We came late last night I think it was after 10pm so it wasn't crowded. I ordered the combo - wings with your choice of side. My son ordered the 20 pcs wings all honey wings. I also ordered the honey wings too and the cheese sticks. They give you free coleslaw and radish. I posted pictures of the new place - be sure to check it out when you're in the area. Valet $5, but I remember Sundays there's no valet.

Meh. Good chicken, v crispy and garlic-soy sauce was tasty. But we waited forever for it even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Current inpwrsob divers should be prioritized. Presumably they were madly filling take out orders? But were there _in person_ waiting a half hour?! That was absurd. Not even as if there's anything on the menu, say a salad, to eat interim to kill the time. There is however an absolutely huge display of blaring kpop 3 feet from your head. So actual conversation with your dinner party is not possible. 3stars good, 2 stars atmosphere-rounding to 3 is being generous. Disappointing locale. Parking however is possible so hence the rounding up. read more

Dinally tried Kyochon in Koreatown LA and it did NOT disappoint The fries were super crispy (like actually crispy, not soggy at all), and the rice?? Only $2 and they give you so much.. We got 10 soy garlic and 10 yang yum, and both flavors were sooo good. The soy garlic was savory and addicting, and the yang yum was good, not spicy Definitely coming back for this combo read more

The soy garlic flavor is a must-try--super tasty with the right balance of sweet and savory. The spicy one also has a nice kick without being overwhelming. The place is clean and has a chill, casual vibe. Service was decent, but it can get a little slow when it's busy. Only thing is the price--portions are a bit small for what you pay. DON'T LOOK AT THE OLD RATINGS! The majority of the ratings are pre-revamp of this location, when the interior was more rundown and the food was overly greasy and subpar. Kyochon is now renovated to be very modern, has excellent service, and most importantly, it's chicken is delicious! My favorite is the honey duo set which has a very nice crunch, juicy bite, and tasty honey flavor. The spicy red is also good. We also love their truffle fries. Kyochon is now definitely worth a place amongst ktown chicken. read more

So excited that my favorite chicken spot is here in the states from Korea!!! Presentation is beautiful, and the restaurant is super roomy and clean. Bonus points for a communal sink so you don't have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands :-) The only thing was you have to pay for parking in their lot. Robo food delivery combined with attentive staff. Would recommend! read more

My first time coming back since they renovated it and it looks so much better. The ambiance is soooo nice. Aside from the renovation, the wings still hit. My go to is the honey and soy garlic and it reminded me of how much I missed this since I'm in the valley now. Always a must when I'm in LA and craving wings. read more

Ok, this is the first time I'm leaving a review for a restaurant. First of, I'm a very friendly person who just hate to argue or fight but this guy Ji Woo (waiter) really pissed me off. He asked if we need a highchair, and we wanted it at first but realized after that we don't need it and told it to him at the moment he was on his way to us carrying a highchair and that pissed him off so he said: E shee (F-word in korean) my mom overheard it and told me. Second, he spilled ice on our table while we were in a bathroom and never cleaned it. Third, they mistakenly gave our order to other guests letting us wait there for half an hour (they gave us a free wedge for that mistake though). By that time, I was kind of concerned but still was pretty calm and just wanted to omit the tips, however, I had a credit in that store and came to the counter to ask about applying it to my bill, but that Ji Woo was pissed, covered his mouth and told his co-worker (e-shee, and something like: "I hate this customers" That was the last drop, I became so mad and asked him about what he said, that I understand korean and to call a manager, they said that a manager was not there etc. I'm not gonna contact the manager now as I'm cooled off, however, I really hope they read reviews and would take actions. Honestly this place is the bombZ but charging $1.50 for a side of radish is a heinous crime. I mean it is a BASIC HUMAN RIGHT to have pickled radish as a side at a korean fried chicken place. Boneless is dry and lacking flavor. Honey marinade is delicious, spicy marinade has a good kick to it but not unbearable by any means. Comparing to typical korean chicken it's more on the spicy rather than sweet side. Also got a side of potato wedges and honey mustard which went perfectly together! I used to come here more often and I haven't been back in a year or so but I noticed the honey mustard changed since then. Worse dine in experience ever . Hands down . Went to have dinner with 4 other of my friends after work . We got there. Asked for 4 orders of 8 piece with fries and a 15 piece with fries , 5 waters and one order of rice . Waited 10 min and still no water.had to get up myself and get my own water. After about 18 min one of the 8 pieces came out 5 min after that another order came out . Then a whole 10 min passed till we got another 8 piece and the 15. We were still missing one 8 piece , the server said it was going to take a while more , my friend lost his appetite and canceled the order . After observing our plates we realized they only gave us 7 pieces on all 3 out of the 4 orders we did receive. This was ridiculous. We told the server and told him it was ok if they bring us the wings that were missing we would be okay , everyone finished eating and we still didn't receive out missing food , we asked for the check and states to them if they were really going to charge us the full price for incomplete orders , they discounted 2$ which was like a slap In the face , not even an apology was given to us . I recently revisited the newly renovated Kyochon Chicken after almost two years. I'll admit -- I was skeptical at first, especially since my last experience here wasn't great. My friend insisted we give it another try, and I'm really glad we did. The new Kyochon is completely different. The quality of the food was outstanding -- just like the Kyochon I remember from Korea. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the flavors were rich but well balanced. What impressed me the most this time was the service. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. When I returned for my birthday, they even let us enjoy cake after our meal and used their serving robot to bring it out with a birthday celebration feature -- complete with a cheerful song from one of the staff members! It was such a warm and memorable experience. The interior has also been beautifully renovated -- clean, bright, and comfortable. Overall, both the taste and service have improved to a top-tier level. I'd now say Kyochon is easily one of the best Korean fried chicken spots you can visit in K-Town. For flavor, my personal favorite is definitely the Honey Chicken -- highly recommended! read more

Kyochon is my second favorite place to go eat for either a snack or a full on meal. i really enjoy the honey chicken the most, they also have combos that i can get like salads, potato wedges, and a soda/juice/water or my choice. I like how they have a pick up, delivery, and a eat in. it makes it so much more easily accessible. it is a bit on the expensive side, but it's always cooked freshly, and it is never dry. the sauce is always distributed easily. i always recommend kyochon to my friends. instead of going to kfc, hoagies and wings, and wingstop. kyochon is my first and only choice of fresh chicken. I really like how they make the chicken and how it has a different taste than other chicken places, it satisfies my taste buds exceedingly. chicken day and bonchon and any other chicken places really does have nothing on kyochon. kyochon only uses the freshest and the best ingredients for the perfect taste. someone brought me a box of their wings once and i thought it was just ok. then one day, driving thru k-town, i see where it is and decide to stop in. fantastic wings. absolutely tastey. better than the overly saturated wings in town, particularly the spicy wings at OB, where they think spice is a conduit to more beer sales. very subtly sweetness and fried just right. in a box = ok. fresh in the restaurant = excellent. maybe i was just hungry that day or something, but when i go back, i haven't been disappointed. spicy wings have a way of creeping up on you. a slow burn. the thing about this place is the consistency for me. sure you can get a great plate of wings elsewhere, but here, they have the procedure down pretty good, cuz it 's the same every time. no fried and crispy one day and raw fleshy skin the next. crispy, well fried, but not dried. parking is generally ok unless you go during peak hours or fri-sat night, lol which is pretty much when everyone will go. but expect the normal k-town door dings. service is fine, and on par for a place like this. which is to say that it's a nice place to meet a few friends for a bite and hello. read more

I really like Kyochon. I've been here a few times now because their sal sal strips are to die for!!!! SO crunchy and delicious. They also have great wings, especially the honey wings. The only thing I didn't like about this place is the wait, because though the food is always hot and good it takes a while to get it to me. Parking is eh, the valet shared by haejangchon and other places so try to street park. I also upped one star because of their good service, one time my 5 sal sal strips took over 20 minutes to get ready so they gave me a free bowl of radishes which made me happy. (I'm so easy it's sad). Then the next time my bf and I ordered the kyochon combo they only had 2 drumsticks instead of 3 so they gave us 3 extra sal sal strips instead. (this also made me happy, the cheap easy food whore I am). Anyways, whenever I want chicken I'm going to come here instead of KFC and feeling sick for days. Also the people say it's pricier but when I get 5 pieces of sal sal strips with sauce versus 3 pieces of chicken at kfc with a biscuit and potato wedges, it's so much more worth it and tastes better. After a brief hike, my friends and I decided to give Kyochon a try. Overall, nothing particularly stood out. Finding parking was easy, thanks to the parking lot right in front of the restaurant. The cashier was friendly and patient with us. Once we placed our order, we selected a table and seated ourselves. The restaurant was relatively empty, although it seemed they had quite a few takeout orders coming in. The atmosphere was pleasant, but it didn't particularly wow us. We opted for the x-large soy garlic chicken wings, extra pickled radish, and rice. Additionally, they had a promotion where if you followed them on Instagram, you'd receive a complimentary serving of fries. While the wings were on the smaller side and slightly dry, they had a good flavor. Personally, I found the pickled radish particularly enjoyable, as it wasn't as sour as those from other places. In summary, while the experience was decent, I wouldn't necessarily return, given the multitude of other dining options to explore in Ktown. read more

This is my first review, and so I'll try to make it the best I can. The price at this place is no joke.... I mean come on... like 13 bucks for 12 chicken... This place commits itself to "organic" and no msg.. but making the price spike up like that is not cool... BUT the food is great. The soy garlic and the honey wings are literally the best wings I've tried in a while. A lot of people dont try this, but try eating the chicken with a bowl of rice- it takes away that strong, heavy taste of the chicken and balances out the portion so you dont need to order so much to get full. Everyone talks about the bad service, but I have never had the same set of employees every time I went... Ive had days when the service was pretty below average, but I've also had days when they treated me really well. Overall I give this place 3.5 to 4 stars. If the food was cheaper and the place was more spacey, it would definitely be a solid 4 or 4.5. Not a place to go EVERYDAY but once in a while is totally worth it. read more

I made an account just to write about my experience at Kyochon at 7:00-8:00 dinner time on April 21st. I came in and I was greeted which was nice, finally I was given acknowledgement of my existence (last time nobody bothered) I sat down and I waited to be served the menu and at least some water and that took a while. My waitress looked like she did not want to be working at all. She straight up gave me attitude when I was ordering my food. The whole time I was there, she just had this sourass face with the nastiest attitude. Hey listen up to the waitress, if you had a bad day, don't make other people's day bad along with ya. Also, if you don't want to work ask for the day off, why ruin somebody's dinner? If you look ugly and act ugly, the customers day is going to turn ugly too. Kyochon seriously needs to hire some capable OLDER and properly trained kids to serve we dont need no 13 year olds who arent mature enough to discipline their feelings while working professionally. read more

The first time I had kyochon was in Korea and it was easily the best KFC I've ever had. As a result, I was delighted when I learned that there was a kyochon in LA and I knew I needed to give it a try. I ordered the half and half soy garlic and chili wings to share along with a pack of white radish. Kyochon chicken is different from most other KFC locations since they add very little batter which leads to thin and crunchy skin. Although the chicken wasn't as tender as I would have hoped, the crunchy skun and tasty flavors easily made up for it. Unfortunately, unlike in Korea, this Kyochon actually charges $1.50 per serving of radish which kind of sucks. However, the radish here was equally as refreshing and has that perfect balance of sweet and sour. Although it wasn't as crunchy as I had remembered, it was still amazing and easily worth the price. Overall, although this place definitely isn't as good as the chains in Korea, this place is still top tier KFC in LA. read more

Ugh. I been to this place so many times expecting the service to change and get better. But seriously, i dont know what kind of training they give to their employees. I really love the food, the food is super duper amazing (no questions ask). But the service? I dont think so. For me, their service is one of the worst service in Koreatown. They'll treat you differently if you're not Korean. I made 3 orders of rice and they gave me 3 (small servings) looks like left overs. They do not smile and greet you like they do with koreans. When we were there, we had to call our server so many times for us to got his attention but when the korean clients sitting next to us called them, they immediately went and attended to their needs. Also, we asked for 2 bags but the server only gave us 1 and told us that the food will fit in just one bag. Like seriously, the customer pay for a good experience in your restaurant, be nice and give each client equal treatment. read more

Kyochon deserves 5 stars no matter what others may say!!! As soon as you walk inside the restaurant, you can tell that this place is nothing like any other places that you've ever been to. The servers are kind, seatings are comfortable, and most importantly, their food is awesome!!! When I was there, my food came out in little less than 15 mins. The chicken was so tender and juicy that it was melting in my mouth. Their chicken goes together so well with their sauce that it felt like the meat and sauce was together as one. Without a doubt, Kyochon has a priceless flavor on their chicken. Some may think this place is little too pricy but that is not true. Once you taste it, you will realize that this place is really cheap for what they actually offer to you. For the first timers, I highly recommend Signature Wings. 11/20 12:30 p.m The chicken is always good however the service ruins it I came here during lunch time and there was this female server that was tall and with weird make up. She was really unhappy and banging the dishes while collecting the left overs. She also dropped my chicken right in front of me but just picked it up with her hands and put it back on my tray. The chicken had hair in it. I told the server who was really pale and white. He just said sorry without any sincerity and walked away. They could've changed the chicken for me or given me discount but we get an APATHETIC "sorry" Also that same worker forgot my order even though I repeated it to him 3 times. Finally, he got it and when my chicken came out it was not how I ordered it. read more

Great Korean chicken place - especially the original and the honey flavor. There is a little bit of wait, but I think it's definitely worth it. I was hesitant to try Kyochon Chicken because there are so many Korean chicken places in LA now. The other chicken places I've tried did not reach my expectation. Its not exactly cheap. You can obviously get a better deal at KFC, but you can't compare Kyochon with a fast-food joint. You can tell they do something special with their chicken. It tastes fresh and healthy. Its not even just the sauce they flavor the chicken with - the chicken itself is so juicy. Its a clean place, no negative thing about eating there. I would definitely go back to get another order. I had a fantastic evening at Kyochon last night, a solid 5 star experience Ill rave about to friends. The vibe hit right from the start with a playlist keeping energy high and fun. The music was mostly great, blending upbeat tracks that made chatting easy. That said, I wasnt thrilled when The Weeknd songs played; his style didnt click for me, but thats personal. The highlight? Their chicken wraps. These were perfection in a tortilla: juicy grilled chicken, fresh veggies, and tangy sauce. I got the spicy one with just the right kick. 10/05 we had horrible service with little cashier girl. (She could be the manager) She has unbelievable Attitude!!!! She is incredibly rude to their customers. It was late. Most of the restaurants were closed. We had no choice. So We ordered crispy chicken wings. then She served us with OLD, DRY and NASTY fried chicken wings. There were almost no meat on the wings. And Absolutely DISGUSTING OLD smell. It was impossible to eat. I cannot believe they treat their customers like that. I felt like we were robbed. What a waste of money and energy. It was terrible experience. Also i have tried their kimchi fried rice earlier. It was way too oily and soggy. We will never come back again! KYOCHON shame on you!!!! read more

Bomb ass review about some bomb ass chicken. Soy garlic signature wings and sweet and spicy signature wings are so BOMB. Service is good. Delivery can sometimes be a little late but it's just probably because there's so many other people that order for delivery. The pickled radish goes very well with the wings. I wish I lived right next to kyochon so I could go there everyday. The way they double fry their signature wings makes it even better. Even the way they use paint brushes to apply the sauce creates such an artistic blend of explosive taste that other chicken places can't compare. The price is a little high for small wings. But once you take a bite out of that chicken wang you fall in love. read more

I recently tried the Korean chicken wings and while there were some things I really enjoyed, there were also a few areas that left me wanting more. The wings were coated in a sweet and savory glaze, which is the hallmark of Korean-style wings. The balance of soy sauce, garlic, and a hint of spice was decent, but it could've used a little more kick to make it stand out. The sweetness was nice, but it sometimes felt a little too overpowering, masking the savory elements that should have been more prominent. Wow! That is all I need to say as far as I'm concern regarding this place. I have heard so much about this place on the reviews, LA Weekly and from my friends. Some good & some bad. I was kinda worried because I've read some review calling this chicken wings "chick wings". Yeah the wings was small, but SOOOOO Good~ There was none of that yellow fat between the skin & the meat and that sauce... I at everything on it except for the bone, and I would've ate that too if I could, hehehe. Anyhow, I had to thank my friend Eric for bugging me to go check this place out.
