The beef kimbap from here was pretty good. I like that there was a generous amount of meat stuffed in the kimbap and that the meat was flavorful. It also didn't feel too rice heavy which I liked. Each tray was good enough for two meals, so pretty solid. I would come back to try their other menu items and kimbap flavors.
My absolute favorite when I am in a rush. Service is fast whether you are dinning in or taking out. I usually take out and it is perfect every-time. Seating is a bit on the smaller side but it is never too packed. Food is always fresh and tasty. My favorites are the spam and crab roll and shrimp tempura. A full order comes with two pieces so make sure you specify if you only want one roll.
Needed a quick meal before an event and thank goodness this was close by! Also there were plenty of free parking spots available on a weekday evening. I ordered in advance in case to avoid the wait and my order was right at the cashier. Quick to pick up! The restaurant was also very spacious with plenty of tables. I ordered the stir fry fish cake kimbap and honestly the portion and the price was a pretty good value ($10)! I would say that the kimbap could be more flavorful, but definitely very easy and healthy to have. Maybe could have used more sesame oil? Nice experience overall!
Ordered their fishcake with $1 add on (sesame leaf) to go. It was pretty solid. I love how they give you extra slices of pickled daikon. It's a great value, 2 rolls for about $10.50 + tax. While waiting for them to make it, I saw on their TV screen they had so many homestyle dishes (Bunshik). - I will definitely go back and dine in to try it all
We ordered takeout: Tuna kimbap x 2 rolls ($10.50) Pork cutlet kimbap x 2 rolls ($14.00) Fishcake kimbap x 2 rolls ($9.50) All kimbap has its own unique flavors, giving us surprise. Even our kids love every bite of it! I wish they have another location closer to Chino Hills.
If you come here order kimbap. I tried the beef and tuna kimbap. The beef was better, in my opinion. The tuna tasted lemony. I also tried the rice cakes with cheese but it was not good. It tasted overcooked and dry. It was nice that the staff provided soup and side dishes. Parking was free. There's a security guy making sure you are a customer. They have a parking lot shared with other businesses in the plaza.
Food: The fishcake kimbap is huge! It was about $9 and we were shocked how much was in one order. The roll tasted so fresh! The sweet and sour chicken was also great, we thought it paired really well with the kimbap. We only ordered two items and were so full, we're excited to return to try their other items! Parking: There's a free parking lot in the plaza but it can get crowded fast. There's surrounding metered and neighborhood parking.
Why on earth would you put the shikhye inside the bag without it being sealed? I got home to find that the entire drink leaked inside the bag getting all over my car seat and just overall ruining the entire experience. Why the hell would they think it's okay to put this in here instead of just handing it to me? It's not a soda can or a bottle it's not even sealed! Management needs to do better because this is literally a nightmare. UPDATE: After I contacted the restaurant, a staff member apologized and provided a complimentary kimbap. I appreciate that they listened to my concern and made an effort to make things right.
Kimbap Paradise has become my go to place for Kimbap when I pass through town. I love that they offer a variety of Kimbap combinations, my favorites so far being tuna and smoked beef. Yom! I've also tried a couple of other dishes. They did not disappoint. And in the land where there more parking garages than parking lots, I also appreciate sliding in and out and getting on my way easily. Kimbap makes the best roadtrip snacks!
If you're craving Korean food this is the place. The parking lot does have plenty of parking but I did go late at night so there was plenty of sitting and parking. I ordered the spicy rice cakes with ramen noodles and cheese and it was so good. The sauce has enough flavor and it was not too spicy! I also order the bulgogi kimbap and it was so huge, it could feed 2-3 people comfortably! They were both delicious! Absolutely coming back.
I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK! I have loved coming here for the past few months since I discovered this place. I thought the food was great and the service was to par but a moment would take all that away from me. For context I came with family and it was only four of us, 2 being children, i ended paying most of the bill and a family member ended up paying the rest and since i figured i was paying most of the bill id let this family member include tip so I didn't tip at the register. According to this family member the moment i went to the restroom, this tall gentleman who is always waiting around shook his head, and my family member had asked "what was wrong? Did their card not go through?" The Man at the register had said no, and said "nothing". But something seemed off and so they proceeded to re-ask and according to the this Man he shook his head because I didn't tip. When I heard about this I was shocked and honestly made me upset. On this day we order 2 rolls a miso soup and fried spicy chicken, I however ended up taking most of it home because I was already full from the roll. I don't think we had asked for much for him to feel so entitled for a tip. And in the mist of all this I ended up with an upset stomach and had no other choice but to throw the food away. I'd be cautious eating here.
Favorite kimbap spot for three reasons: - I always get the fried shrimp. It comes with the lemony sweet creamy sauce. Tastes fantastic. - They can make it without rice (usually more vegetables) - Easy parking in a lot You can dine there or order ahead online to go. There can be a bit of a wait though either way but I know they are making it fresh to order! One two roll order is good for a light to medium meal (w/o rice).

While waiting, saw that they have a busy take out business and also delivery. Order was ready in the upper end of the time given. Fresh, made to order, and enough for a lunch. Presented well in the to go box. Had the fish cake kimbap and the shrimp kimbap. Both were tasty and perfect ratio of rice to ingredients. Definitely one of the best in the K-town area.

Thank you Jim Kimbap Restaurant is seriously one of those spots you end up craving the second you leave. Everything was very fresh, the place was spotless, and you can tell they really care about the quality of their food. I had the kimbap and a few other dishes, and every bite was packed with flavor--simple but done perfectly. It's the kind of Korean food that is satisfying not overly heavy but still super satisfying. You can taste that everything is made with care. Honestly, it's hard to find places that are this clean, consistent, and delicious all at once. Definitely coming back again. read more

Picked up some Kimbap rolls from here for a get-together. I ordered the marinated beef, sausage, and pork cutlet rolls. My friends and I really liked the pork cutlet rolls! I would highly recommend trying these ones, although they are kind of pricey at $14. I was meh about the marinated beef and sausage. I couldn't really taste any distinct flavors, and I didn't hear any comments from my friends. Service was fast. I placed a phone order and was told the order would be ready in 15 minutes. This was done on a Friday 5/15/26 at lunchtime. The eatery has a small parking lot. On Friday late mornings, parking is not an issue. There was plenty of seating available. read more

Why on earth would you put the shikhye inside the bag without it being sealed? I got home to find that the entire drink leaked inside the bag getting all over my car seat and just overall ruining the entire experience. Why the hell would they think it's okay to put this in here instead of just handing it to me? It's not a soda can or a bottle it's not even sealed! i love this place so much!! the smoked beef kimbap is my absolute favorite. it's not like the regular bulgogi kimbap you're used to. and honestly everything i've tried has been good! everyone here is nice and friendly. i do recommend you order just enough because they charge 50 cents per to go box. pretty casual place. i've only been during the day so not sure if it gets super crowded at night. read more
I was initially worried at the price because it looked expensive for kimbap, but it's basically two servings and they have single servings for about half price as well! Overall very filling and the kimbaps were packed as well. Beef - my favorite of the trio. the beef had a lot of flavor which I would never had before. only a true ajummas kimbap with love could beat this. 8.7/10 Pork Tonkatsu - i think because it was delivered it was a bit soggy. flavor was okay. def would try again in store. 8.1/10 Cheese - the protein inside of this would be fish cake, which i love. and regular cheddar cheese as well is another guilty pleasure. my friends were meh about this but because of the combination i would say i am a bit biased. 7.8/10 read more
First of all I wanted to shout out the valet! I was craving kimbap and read the reviews that there was a private lot. Came here around 7pm and all the parking was taken. I was about to leave to find street parking but then the valet asked me if I was here for pick up. I said yes and he let me park for 15 min. Beef Kimbap: 5/5 . So delicious and flavorful! For $10 you get 20 pcs. Service was alright. I wasn't welcomed. I used the self order kiosk. It said waiting for takeout can be 15-20 min. Luckily for me, my order was finished about 15 min! The staff will call your order number when your order is done. Please keep your receipt! There were only about 3 groups eating there, so dine in wasn't too busy. read more

Ordered: Soy garlic fried chicken- It was perfectly crispy and bursting with delicious flavor. We tried a variety of kimbap, each one is made to order so it was fresh and packed with flavor. But crowd favorite was the shrimp one! Fish cake soup- savory broth and so well seasoned would be sooo perfect for colder weather. Rose Spicy Rice Cake- we decided to also add udon in there, first bite was so rich and flavorful, it has a good balance of the creaminess and mildly spicy, making it both comforting and satisfying. It's a popular choice for those who enjoy a fusion of flavors in their Korean street food. The pricing at Kimbap Paradise is very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes making it a great spot for a quick meal or a casual hangout. My wife LOVES kimbap so when she found this place we HAD to go. They do have a ton of variety of kimbaps which I truly appreciate. They also offer other dishes like katsues and bibimpabs so theres something for everything. What they do not have is alcohol which is a shame. Lots of free parking in their lot which is a plus in KTown. read more

I came for lunch at around 3pm, the place wasn't empty but it wasn't very busy, most tables were already eating. It took 40 minutes to get our food, the server accidentally gave our kimbap to another table which we were understanding of... But the kitchen forgot to make the cold noodles because the server thought we received all of our food, we had to inform her of our missing item. Overall, service was okay and food was decent. fishcake kimbap 4.8/5 delicious spicy tteokbokki 3.5/5 good flavor, came with a Lot of fishcake, would've been better fresh but i like to wait for everyone to receive their food before eating cold noodles 3/5 just alright read more

I've tried a bunch of things on the menu such as their soba noodles, jjolmyun, spicy rice cakes with cheese, and their kimbaps and everything was solid. My favorite is the Paradise Kimbap. The meat has that delicious fire-grilled flavor, and all the fillings come together for the perfect bite. A close second is the Spicy Anchovy Kimbap! Definitely recommend if you love a bit of spice. * Miso soup is usually provided but in case you dont receive it, dont hesitate to ask for it! read more
I went and tried some Kimbap for Mother's Day. My mom and little sister are quite the eaters really impressed by the portion sizes and surprised how they both ate their way through the food. Prior to this I had only tried Kimbap from Trader Joe's this is way better I like the meat. They also have a good selection of Beer, Soju and liquor. Ordered a take out kimbap with a side of Miso Soup. Was ready as promised. However, my soup was missing. Luckily, I asked before I left. But the guy was confused; he thought I wanted the item added. I had to clarify that I paid for the item and that it was missing. FRIED SHRIMP KIMBAP - The price is justified by the quantity. I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. I am impressed by the proportion of rice to filling. This has got to have one of the thinnest layer of rice and I appreciate that! As for the fried shrimp, I think it was decent but nothing to rave about. MISO SOUP - Do not get. Not worth it. No tofu. And it does not taste like Miso soup. And the size is extremely small for what you pay for. Ambiance - Since I ordered take out, I didn't dine in. Even though it was lunch time, the place was empty. Parking - Went on a weekday during lunch time and the private lot was empty so parking was a freeze. read more
