Picked up some Kimbap rolls from here for a get-together. I ordered the marinated beef, sausage, and pork cutlet rolls. My friends and I really liked the pork cutlet rolls! I would highly recommend trying these ones, although they are kind of pricey at $14. I was meh about the marinated beef and sausage. I couldn't really taste any distinct flavors, and I didn't hear any comments from my friends. Service was fast. I placed a phone order and was told the order would be ready in 15 minutes. This was done on a Friday 5/15/26 at lunchtime. The eatery has a small parking lot. On Friday late mornings, parking is not an issue. There was plenty of seating available. read more

I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK! I have loved coming here for the past few months since I discovered this place. I thought the food was great and the service was to par but a moment would take all that away from me. For context I came with family and it was only four of us, 2 being children, i ended paying most of the bill and a family member ended up paying the rest and since i figured i was paying most of the bill id let this family member include tip so I didn't tip at the register. According to this family member the moment i went to the restroom, this tall gentleman who is always waiting around shook his head, and my family member had asked "what was wrong? Did their card not go through?" The Man at the register had said no, and said "nothing". But something seemed off and so they proceeded to re-ask and according to the this Man he shook his head because I didn't tip. When I heard about this I was shocked and honestly made me upset. On this day we order 2 rolls a miso soup and fried spicy chicken, I however ended up taking most of it home because I was already full from the roll. I don't think we had asked for much for him to feel so entitled for a tip. And in the mist of all this I ended up with an upset stomach and had no other choice but to throw the food away. My absolute favorite when I am in a rush. Service is fast whether you are dinning in or taking out. I usually take out and it is perfect every-time. Seating is a bit on the smaller side but it is never too packed. Food is always fresh and tasty. My favorites are the spam and crab roll and shrimp tempura. A full order comes with two pieces so make sure you specify if you only want one roll. read more

Needed a quick meal before an event and thank goodness this was close by! Also there were plenty of free parking spots available on a weekday evening. I ordered in advance in case to avoid the wait and my order was right at the cashier. Quick to pick up! The restaurant was also very spacious with plenty of tables. I ordered the stir fry fish cake kimbap and honestly the portion and the price was a pretty good value ($10)! I would say that the kimbap could be more flavorful, but definitely very easy and healthy to have. Maybe could have used more sesame oil? Nice experience overall! read more

Ordered their fishcake with $1 add on (sesame leaf) to go. It was pretty solid. I love how they give you extra slices of pickled daikon. It's a great value, 2 rolls for about $10.50 + tax. If you come here order kimbap. I tried the beef and tuna kimbap. The beef was better, in my opinion. The tuna tasted lemony. I also tried the rice cakes with cheese but it was not good. It tasted overcooked and dry. It was nice that the staff provided soup and side dishes. Parking was free. There's a security guy making sure you are a customer. They have a parking lot shared with other businesses in the plaza. read more

Food: The fishcake kimbap is huge! It was about $9 and we were shocked how much was in one order. The roll tasted so fresh! The sweet and sour chicken was also great, we thought it paired really well with the kimbap. We only ordered two items and were so full, we're excited to return to try their other items! Kimbap Paradise has become my go to place for Kimbap when I pass through town. I love that they offer a variety of Kimbap combinations, my favorites so far being tuna and smoked beef. Yom! I've also tried a couple of other dishes. They did not disappoint. My all-time go-to place for solid Korean food, great catering, and family friendly in-person dining. The food is always good and comes out quickly. If you're craving Korean food this is the place. The parking lot does have plenty of parking but I did go late at night so there was plenty of sitting and parking. I ordered the spicy rice cakes with ramen noodles and cheese and it was so good. The sauce has enough flavor and it was not too spicy! I also order the bulgogi kimbap and it was so huge, it could feed 2-3 people comfortably! They were both delicious! Absolutely coming back. read more

Favorite kimbap spot for three reasons: - I always get the fried shrimp. It comes with the lemony sweet creamy sauce. Tastes fantastic. - They can make it without rice (usually more vegetables) - Easy parking in a lot You can dine there or order ahead online to go. There can be a bit of a wait though either way but I know they are making it fresh to order! One two roll order is good for a light to medium meal (w/o rice). read more

Needed a few kimbap to go. When I got there, there is a wall up kiosk to order takeout. Simple to use and also tells you how long it will take for your order. While waiting, saw that they have a busy take out business and also delivery. Order was ready in the upper end of the time given. Fresh, made to order, and enough for a lunch. Presented well in the to go box. Had the fish cake kimbap and the shrimp kimbap. Both were tasty and perfect ratio of rice to ingredients. Definitely one of the best in the K-town area. read more

Good place to go for a quick bite! You can order ahead online for pick up or sit down and order using a convenient kiosk at the tables. We had the shrimp kimbap and crab and spam kimbap (recommend this one). Each roll was $9 but you can get 2 rolls of shrimp kimbap for $14-which is a pretty good deal! read more

Everything we tried was delicious! My friend grew up in Korea, and he said everything was phenomenal and made him miss it. We tried multiple kimbaps, soups, and the spicy pork. Delicious all around! All the banchan were tasty and refillable, which is always nice when you have a particular favorite. Lovely staff and quick service. Definitely plan to return soon! read more

i love this place so much!! the smoked beef kimbap is my absolute favorite. it's not like the regular bulgogi kimbap you're used to. and honestly everything i've tried has been good! everyone here is nice and friendly. i do recommend you order just enough because they charge 50 cents per to go box. pretty casual place. i've only been during the day so not sure if it gets super crowded at night. read more

I was initially worried at the price because it looked expensive for kimbap, but it's basically two servings and they have single servings for about half price as well! Overall very filling and the kimbaps were packed as well. Beef - my favorite of the trio. the beef had a lot of flavor which I would never had before. only a true ajummas kimbap with love could beat this. 8.7/10 Pork Tonkatsu - i think because it was delivered it was a bit soggy. flavor was okay. def would try again in store. 8.1/10 Cheese - the protein inside of this would be fish cake, which i love. and regular cheddar cheese as well is another guilty pleasure. my friends were meh about this but because of the combination i would say i am a bit biased. 7.8/10 read more

First of all I wanted to shout out the valet! I was craving kimbap and read the reviews that there was a private lot. Came here around 7pm and all the parking was taken. I was about to leave to find street parking but then the valet asked me if I was here for pick up. I said yes and he let me park for 15 min. Beef Kimbap: 5/5 . So delicious and flavorful! For $10 you get 20 pcs. Service was alright. I wasn't welcomed. I used the self order kiosk. It said waiting for takeout can be 15-20 min. Luckily for me, my order was finished about 15 min! The staff will call your order number when your order is done. Please keep your receipt! There were only about 3 groups eating there, so dine in wasn't too busy. read more

My wife LOVES kimbap so when she found this place we HAD to go. They do have a ton of variety of kimbaps which I truly appreciate. They also offer other dishes like katsues and bibimpabs so theres something for everything. What they do not have is alcohol which is a shame. Lots of free parking in their lot which is a plus in KTown. read more

Randomly searched up this place for a quick and easy meal and was so pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the kimbap here! You can order the kimbap to eat at the restaurant or to go. You can order at the register or if you're feeling like you want to limit social interaction because your social battery is currently at 0%, you can easily order at a kiosk. Service is friendly and quick! There were so many specialty items that I haven't seen before even at other Korean restaurants. Even among the different kimbaps, there's regular, premium, and an option to just get one roll. Option overload for SURE but in this case, it was a good thing. I went with beef kimbap for my first visit, then tried the burdock kimbap at a subsequent visit. Both were delicious and FILLED with ingredients. They do not skimp and I 100% appreciate that. The restaurant itself is clean with lots of seating. I didn't visit during peak mealtimes so I'm not sure how busy it gets. There is a little bit of a wait because they make the food fresh, but the wait wasn't too long so it was worth it imo. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area! read more

This is part of my standard, I get to eat what I what, of day. (When my husband doesn't need to be fed lol) Favorite flavors are the spam and fried shrimp! It may take while to make during dinner rush hour. Best kimbap in town and I always recommend it to any friends visiting! Visited this place twice in four days, both for carry out. Located near the corner of W 4th and Vermont, it's in a strip mall with a good amount of parking spaces. Ordering was easy via the kiosk and at the counter. Plenty of eating as well for dining in. The kimbap were large, made to order with fresh ingredients. I've tried a bunch of things on the menu such as their soba noodles, jjolmyun, spicy rice cakes with cheese, and their kimbaps and everything was solid. My favorite is the Paradise Kimbap. The meat has that delicious fire-grilled flavor, and all the fillings come together for the perfect bite. A close second is the Spicy Anchovy Kimbap! Definitely recommend if you love a bit of spice. * Miso soup is usually provided but in case you dont receive it, dont hesitate to ask for it! read more

I came for lunch at around 3pm, the place wasn't empty but it wasn't very busy, most tables were already eating. It took 40 minutes to get our food, the server accidentally gave our kimbap to another table which we were understanding of... But the kitchen forgot to make the cold noodles because the server thought we received all of our food, we had to inform her of our missing item. Overall, service was okay and food was decent. fishcake kimbap 4.8/5 delicious spicy tteokbokki 3.5/5 good flavor, came with a Lot of fishcake, would've been better fresh but i like to wait for everyone to receive their food before eating cold noodles 3/5 just alright read more

Did door dash from this place for lunch. It's super filling. The packaging was great and props to the chef for making compact rolls!! It's so good. I ordered their beef rolls and steamed dumplings. Dumplings were fresh and homemade. Their menu has tons of different rolls and foods. My friend ordered their paradise rolls and absolutely loved it. Definitely ordering from here again. read more

Probably one of our favorite Kimbap places in Ktown. It's like the best version of your mom's kimbap. There are a lot of options and the rolls themselves are massive and shareable! The overall vibe is homey when sports games aren't on the big TV screen. Service is good, they are kind and helpful but they have also added iPads at the tables recently which we aren't crazy about. If you're old school like us and don't offer a menu you can ask for one and they'll come over to take your order. They offer a parking lot (sometimes it's Valet sometimes it's not). read more

They're located in a very busy area of Koreatown, so street parking is very difficult to find. If you aren't finding any spot after circling around endlessly, just do valet parking, which was cheap and easy. The Spicy Seafood and Chicken Kalguksu were so good and comforting! Both soups were tasty and I was very satisfied with all the ingredients included in the Kalguksu. As a noodle lover, the noodles also hit the spot definitely hit the spot. The Spicy Seafood Kalguksu also wasn't terribly spicy, so I would definitely recommend it if you can indulge in some spice. We also ordered the Medium Bossam and that really completed the meal. The pork belly was very tender and delicious and is so good wrapped with the napa cabbage, radish kimchi, and garlic. There is also some dipping sauces for it. I definitely recommend also ordering the Bossam! Overall, I enjoyed everything we had here! The portions were perfect for our party of four and we were fully satisfied after our meal.

I love noodles, so I knew I wanted to get their kalguksu or sujebi which is basically hand-torn kalguksu in ripped piece form. Everything is HUGE portions, and plus the banchan (four offerings), it's a LOT for one person to eat. I was SO full I felt so wasteful unable to finish anything. I love that the sujebi came with kabocha, potato, and some green veg. You literally don't have to order anything else besides the dish. The kalguksu looks like it's shared and recommended with 2+ parties. This place was filled with families, duos, and larger groups, so I think it must be more of a place to share. I came for a later lunch on a Friday, and just like the yelp revs said it was full and busy but not completely packed. I didn't have to wait for a single small table for one. The service is fast and the staff are so friendly and attentive. I'm glad I finally dined here, but would def only come back with a larger group.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
