Oooooh this place hits the spot after taking a dance class with friends. I love me some Korean food and we got the Grandma Tteok-bokki with mild spice and the Mixed Sauce 20pc wings. I usually order a whole chicken with two flavors and a side dish. This time, I ordered a whole chicken with soy garlic and honey flavors. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. The staff who took my order said everything would be ready in 20 minutes and they truly marked their word. I was there in 20 minutes and my order was ready for payment and pick up. At first when I walked in, I got scared that they disappeared but actually it is now both a Halgatteok and Twozone Chicken! I ordered at the register and keep in mind you pay at the end of your meal so I sat down after I ordered. I got the soy garlic chicken which was very delicious and had sesame seeds on top. The soy garlic was slightly sweet and tangy but you can definitely taste the garlic. It also came with pickled radish which I love eating with the chicken. It took around 10-15 minutes for our meal to come out but it was fine because it was a little more busy when I went! My husband and I were in the plaza to get matcha at Damo, and we figured we'd try this place out for an early dinner. We got there before valet parking was required thankfully. We got two orders of wings: one Soy Garlic and one original with Mixed sauce on the side. The soy garlic was absolutely delicious and exceeded expectations. Perfectly crispy, hot, fresh, garlicky, pretty much everything I wanted in soy garlic KFC. The original fried chicken was great as well. The mixed sauce tasted kinda weird??? Not sure if it would have been better straight coated on the chicken but we both thought the sauce was too sour and a little metallic. It would have tasted better with a tinge more sweetness. The radishes that come on the side were GOOD though. They were the perfect palate cleanser and not metallic like the radishes I get at other KFC restaurants. They took 1.5 hours to deliver (30 minutes after the latest estimated arrival time) but it's understandable for the holidays. This place is different in that they give you the sauces in packets so your chicken can remain crispy which was really smart on their part. The other bonus is that there's a lot more sauce in the packet then when a restaurant puts it on for you and you can control the amount you want for each piece. They give you one container of pickled radish that are big chunks why I wish they cut into smaller bite size pieces. They also provided an extra dressing and a Togo menu. Half & Half Special Chicken ($36.99): You get to choose 2 different flavors for a whole chicken. We chose onion & wasabi, and each flavor came with about 8 drumsticks/wings so 16 in total. For the onion half, they put ample of sliced onions on top of the chicken which did make them a little less crunchy but went very well with the chicken. The chicken itself had a unique batter and was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Both the onion and wasabi sauces were really good so you can't go wrong with either.
