    * The Mayak Gimbap was a delicious blend of fish cake, crunchy pickled veggies, and rice all wrapped in seaweed seasoned with sesame oil and sesame seeds * The Spicy Soy Boneless Chicken was amazingly crunchy while still being tenderly soft inside; the sweet, savory sauce was at a decent level of spicy while not being overwhelming * Overall, a great spot with friendly service to order some delicious chicken and grab a beer for a decent price in L.A.

The food was great and would have earned 4-5 stars, but seeing a cockroach in the restroom was a major turnoff and lowered my rating.

Oooooh this place hits the spot after taking a dance class with friends. I love me some Korean food and we got the Grandma Tteok-bokki with mild spice and the Mixed Sauce 20pc wings. Both dishes look gorgeous to eat. The tteok-bokki wasn't too spicy and just love the rice cakes. The chicken was crispy yet flavorful. These are chicken wings done right. The price seemed reasonable and affordable for the food we got, better than other places out there selling similar food!!! I recommend if you like Korean food! There is parking but valet though if you plan on staying at any of the ovations for a bit. (We went during the night)

I always enjoy a good fried chicken. I like that you can have tons of options of sauces and toppings. Chicken was nice and crispy, nicely seasoned and tender. Service was quick and would definitely come back.

TwoZone on 8th St & Oxford is the legit zone for authentic Korean Fried Chicken. For the past few years, I've been ordering here and their quality and service are consistent. I usually order a whole chicken with two flavors and a side dish. This time, I ordered a whole chicken with soy garlic and honey flavors. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. The staff who took my order said everything would be ready in 20 minutes and they truly marked their word. I was there in 20 minutes and my order was ready for payment and pick up. It's not bad for $40+ because their Korean fried chicken is phenomenal! The honey butter chicken's flavor is identical to the trendy but delectable honey butter chips. The soy garlic has a slightly spicy kick to with a sweet garlicky taste. Despite being smothered in their lovely flavors, the chicken is truly crunchy, juicy and savory. The sweet potato fries are crunchy and sweet. The lovely modern interior reminds me of the chicken and hof places in Hongdae, Seoul. Someday, I would love to dine here.

The cheese balls are so amazing! The owner is so kind and demure. I also love his daughter. The ambiance is amazing i love the kpop.

A hole in the wall restaurant that has crispy juicy chicken. Biting into it, you can immediately see the smoke coming out!! I believe the chicken is made to order because they always come out piping hot. They recently removed their wasabi flavored chicken, which sucks. Out of all their flavors, my favorites are the green onion and the honey butter. You can also get the sauce on the side and order different flavored sauces.

At first when I walked in, I got scared that they disappeared but actually it is now both a Halgatteok and Twozone Chicken! I ordered at the register and keep in mind you pay at the end of your meal so I sat down after I ordered. I got the soy garlic chicken which was very delicious and had sesame seeds on top. The soy garlic was slightly sweet and tangy but you can definitely taste the garlic. It also came with pickled radish which I love eating with the chicken. It took around 10-15 minutes for our meal to come out but it was fine because it was a little more busy when I went! They projected Kpop music videos on the wall but had a different playlist going on so it wasn't lined up but not a problem! I would come again!

We ordered two flavor boneless chicken (honey butter and hot & spicy), cheese sticks, tteokbokki and draft beer (Stella Artois). Everything came out fresh and really delicious! The boneless chicken was juicy and crunchy. The service was great and friendly staff. The ambiance is pretty good for a date night or just a casual hangout with friends. Good variety in the menu. We will definitely come back here.

The parking is horrible!!! And the valet guys was rude ! That being said, the service and food was worth all the bs that was put up with, the chicken has so much flavor and the sweet potato fries 10/10 Had pretty low expectations, safe bet to say they over exited expectations Will be back and I'm a customer for life

Decent food. Nothing amazing. There's better kfc and tteokbokki in the area. The wings were fried really well, but a bit under season. Fries were under seasoned. Tteokbokki had too much black pepper, but the rice cakes did taste surprisingly fresh. The only soju they had was unflavored. Overall, it's okay bar food / late night food. Parking lot is valet (just $3)

Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars I've only had Twozone chicken as takeout from Gaju Market before, but the chicken is definitively better when dining in. We visited on a Saturday night around 8:30 pm, and the place wasn't busy at all. While it's not a high-energy spot, the chicken and beer were good. The service was great too!

Yea right in front , for a couple bucks , it might be free for eating there

I love their "mixed sauce", but I live in Hawaii, so I want to make my own version at home. However, there is an ingredient/spice, I can't quite put my finger on...seems like cinnamon? Maybe nutmeg? It really gives it the taste I love. Anyone know?

I ordered the quarter chicken with rice and salad, and I was really impressed with the portion sizes. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and gave me the kind of authentic Latin food vibes that I love. The sauce was definitely the highlight for me--it was so good that I found myself adding it to every bite. The prices are also fantastic. For the quality and quantity of food you get, this place is truly a gem. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The restaurant itself is very small, with limited seating available. The customer service also wasn't the best during my visit. Since the dining area was completely full when we arrived, we decided to place our order to go. While we were waiting for our food, a table opened up, so we asked if we could sit down and eat there instead. We were told that because we had ordered our food to go, we were not allowed to sit in the restaurant. I found that a bit disappointing, especially since we had already paid for the same food as everyone else dining in. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely the reason I would come back. If I'm in the area and craving their chicken, I'd absolutely return--just with different expectations regarding the seating situation and service.

Even after being tossed in sauce, that initial bite has a perfect, loud crunch that stays crispy until the last piece. Honey Soy Perfection: The Honey Soy flavor is a must-order. It has the ideal balance of savory and sweet without being cloying. It's glazed perfectly so every inch of the chicken is coated. The Cheese Powder: Don't sleep on the Cheese flavor. There are a lot of different options on the menu, which was a bit overwhelming for my first time, but we decided on getting a half order of their classic boneless chicken in the signature Pelicana sauce, which was a delicious choice. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, and the sauce was a great blend of heat, sweetness, and garlic. Everything was ordered on a tablet that is at each table, and there was one staff member assisting the whole restaurant when I visited on a Sunday afternoon; she was kind, helpful, and provided great service. I also ordered the Peli Shaken Fries which had a nice sweet and savory flavor that complemented the chicken well. The Kimchi Fried Rice was warm, cheesy, but ultimately a little salty for my taste. Overall, the space has a modern and cozy feel, and I can see this being a good spot to grab some drinks and food with friends.

I've eaten from there before. It's well cooked, juicy, with a good crunch, and light flavor. If you're gluten-free, like myself, you can only have two different sauces, and of course you have to pay for those separate. Not a fault, just an observation. Having any Sauce at all, is awesome... My complaint and withholding of a star is that The Only individual sized portions you can get is a chicken sandwich (I'm one of those dreaded * duh..duh..dunnnnn,* "Gluten-Free" peeps. After that the next size is half a chicken (to much for me to eat in a sitting.) and it Doesn't come with any sauces or sides. I'm not saying that's it's a bad price, for the amount and quality... It's absolutely fair. But an individual option, be it wings, tenders, something easy like that. Something comparable to the chicken sandwich, would be really appreciated. That's Star worthy to me. To add insult to a sour moment, I had to pay for parking... for only 3 to 4 minutes. While not truly a fault of the restaurant, it is a part of the experience, and should be noted. Lest others find themselves in a similar situation. And a final note. The manager was never anything but courteous and professional. He put up with my braty hangry behavior like a champ.

I had been craving their chicken for a while, so I finally came back today. As always, there was a long line. At first, the line wasn't moving at all, which was a little frustrating, but fortunately, it started moving much faster soon after. I hadn't been here in years, so it was nice to come back after such a long time. The chicken is definitely tasty, but unfortunately, they grilled it a little too much this time and some of it was quite burnt. I guess that's partly because they grill the chicken directly on the grill. Parking here is always a complete challenge because the parking lot is small and there are usually so many people. But my parking luck is always amazing -- cars somehow always seem to pull out right in front of me! And once again, today, a car pulled out right in front of me, so I was able to get a parking spot easily. It felt like another parking miracle! I asked for a cup of water, and he kindly gave me ice water. I also asked if I could have one extra plastic bag, and he gave me another one without any problem. The staff were very friendly, which was good. However, there's one thing to keep in mind when getting takeout here: the chicken is so oily that the grease can actually soak through and leak all over the plastic bag. You basically have to throw the first plastic bag away afterward. That's why I'm really glad I asked for an extra bag and brought one home with me. It definitely came in handy!
