One of the best Chinese Korean restaurants in OC. Their Jjampong is delicious and full of seafood flavor.

The ramen arrived, and we started eating. As more customers came in, we continued waiting for the rest of our order. We had almost finished our ramen, but the egg rolls, gyoza, and extra noodles still had not arrived. My aunt asked the server about them, but he said he did not remember us ordering those items--even though he had asked whether we wanted the gyoza pan-fried or deep-fried. My aunt looked at his order paper and saw that he had written down only the ramen, not the other three items. We decided to cancel the remaining items, pay for our ramen, and leave. It was a disappointing experience, especially since we were the first customers there. However, the ramen was delicious, the ambiance was nice, and the restaurant was clean. Next time, please confirm the complete order with the customer to make sure everything was written down correctly. I'm leaving three stars because of the delicious ramen and pleasant ambiance.

Parking is a little weird (half the space in front is handicap/bank parking) so look around if you have to. Usually it's fine though. Food here is great, and it's why I come here! Gyoza is crispy and juicy and hot. Ramen noodles are all unique and more of that handmade vibe. We got the mentaiko ramen and green chili shio ramen. If you want a less fatty broth, then shio is your choice. Savory and creamy? Pretty much anything else. Always a good time here

A few months ago my wife and I wanted to eat at Kitakata Buena Park. We understood there would be a wait. What we could not bear was the strong, revolting smell of sewage wafting through the parking lot just outside the restaurant. The smell had nothing to do with the restaurant. The smell came from a sewer line somewhere in the vicinity of the restaurant. Be that as it may, we left about five minutes into our wait. I knew that waiting any longer for a seat inside the restaurant would result in my wife and I eating our meal with the stench of sewage tainting every slurp and every bite. The problem is a city sewage problem, but Kitakata bears the burden. Please let me know the problem has been addressed by the city and I will return.

Anyways I saw that they had plenty of noodle dishes to choose from so decided to give it a go. Ordered the yukkaejang (spicy braised beef soup) with the rolling dumplings (both kalbi and kimchi). The dumplings were called rolling because I assume they were rolled out and shaped into balls - spherical meat stuffing balls covered with a thin dumpling wrapper. I've eaten dumplings my entire life but this type of dumpling was a first for me so I was very interested in trying this out. Turns out the dumplings were pretty good. It does fall apart pretty easily when picking them up with chopsticks to dip into the sauce which was a bit annoying, so you should be mindful and careful of that if ordering them. The yukkaejang was not the best I've had but it was still pretty good. Prices were fair and the quality of food was solid. I wish they served free water as they make you buy bottles of water if you ask them for water. But with all that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Some restaurants win you over with flashy presentations, and others do it quietly…read more I came in expecting a quick meal and found myself paying attention to all the little things instead. The staff greeted every customer who walked in, the dining room felt relaxed without being too casual, and there was a genuine sense that people here cared about what they were serving. The food arrived quickly, but nothing tasted rushed. Each dish had its own personality, and even the simplest items felt thoughtfully prepared. By the end of the meal, I realized this wasn't the kind of place people visit once for the novelty but it is the kind of place they keep coming back to because it simply makes them feel comfortable. I've had may fair share of jjamppong over the years, and this was easily one of the cleanest, most satisfying versions I've tried. Their white jjamppong is the best one so far. The broth had a comforting depth without feeling overly heavy, and every spoonful was packed with ingredients. They definitely didn't skimp on the seafood and vegetables, which made the entire bowl feel hearty and well balanced rather than just being mostly noodles and broth. If you enjoy a little heat, do yourself a favor and ask extra spicy. The added spice gives the broth another layer of flavor and beings everything together beautifully without completely overpowering the dish. I'd happily return, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a spot that values consistency and hospitality just as much as the food itself.

A watery jajangmyeon that tastes worse than a cheap 3-minute Ottogi jajang or Chapaghetti (which costs less than $5) is definitely overpriced at $15. You'd honestly be better off paying a little more and eating somewhere else. This is honestly the worst Jajangmyeon I've ever had in the OC area, even including k-snack bars. It was worse than even Hong Kong Banjeom, which is cheaper than this place.
