Went there at lunch time and the line was kinda long! The line moved slow mainly cuz it's very understaffed! The person taking orders at the counter was also the one delivering food to tables! But, he did apologize to me for the delay. Food is good for its price! I got vegetarian ramen and it came with generous amount of tofu and black fungus. My colleague got the regular pork ramen and he said the quality of meat was good. And, we both agreed that there was too much MSG! Good amount of seating and vibes are also lively with upbeat music!

I had a great experience! I work nearby so had been meaning to try this place out. Fair prices, clean restaurant, and great staff to work with. You can get a water cup and self-serve. When you go in, go up to the register to order. After ordering, you'll get a number to set at your table of choice to be served. I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen and it was SAVORY and very filling. The broth is rich and the pork is well cooked. Next time, I'll probably order extra egg or pork. I'm also curious about their Tonkatsu broth. Overall, great experience! Really looking forward to coming back for lunch

The black garlic ramen is good. The pork is quite big and you can choose spicy level which is great. Their service is quite minimal and you pay when you order foods, so you don't have to pay huge tips. Overall, it's great, but I wish they had more comprehensive menu options, because I was there for ramen, but they only had four options.

Loved it! I just wished the ramen was warmer, but over all nice service and good food. Best kimchi I've had!!!!

While browsing the area during a work trip we passed this location. I made a mental note to come back and visit. We decided to stop in the next day for lunch. Staff are super friendly and ordering was breeze. The shop is slightly open and airy which gives it a nice laid back ambiance. A nice spot for a work lunch. I opted for the Tonkostu Ramen and added Kimchi with a side of spring rolls. The ramen was super flavorful and the added Kimchi really hit the spot. The spring rolls was cooked just the way that I like them. We also shared an order of the Crab Rangoons and Chicken Karaage.

Quite surprised not many Japanese restaurants in the Central Business District offered unagi don. Sakura House did not have it, Oishii Ramen, Menya Ramen and Hapa Sushi also did not have it. Found only Kyoto Ramen and Poke Club had it. Since Kyoto Ramen was within a short walking distance, so it was my pick for lunch today. Compared to the traditional unagi don, besides the smoked eels, there were also a few poke bowl ingredients, such as tofu, peas, seaweed, avocado and ginger. The unagi sauce was rich and umami while the other ingredients complemented the taste, flavor and nutritiousness of the unagi don. Satisfied and would certainly come more often. Kyoto Ramen is right across the street from Chipotle.

Hot flavorful broth, no thrills place, the pork was a bit tough but had flavor, the noodles were great- just a little too soft in my opinion. I prefer kata over futsu. Overall, much better than Oishi around the corner.

FOOD Tuna Poke Bowl without Edamame, Tofu and Ginger - Overall really good. There is a good amount of sauce that makes the dish tasty. The ingredients are given in decent portion sizes for the price. And the tuna was pretty fresh and given decent sized chunks. VIBES Place is pretty spacious with plenty of seating from tables with chairs to more bench type seating. SERVICE The service was ok. It took around 30 to 35 minutes for the food to come out after we ordered for around six people. They also had no salmon :(

Saw the sign for the Crab Rangoon's and Gyoza and decided to go in. We ordered 2 Crab Rangoons and one Gyoza. We can say this is the best of each of these we've ever eater. High highly recommend them!

We were visiting Denver for a few days and tonight at 31 degrees and with snow flurries in the air, ramen was the perfect thing to have... we ordered the shoyu ramen and it was just ok... the soup needed a little bit more flavor and the noodle was a little soft... but adding a bit of the hot chili oil did the job... coming from Los Angeles with some of the best ramen outside of Tokyo , I can get a little critical.... It did warm us up enough tho.

Uncle is a small, Asian fusion shrine that one should place on your must visit list. In the Northwest area of Denver, Uncle has limited seating and a show if you sit at the bar. Reservations are strongly suggested and well worth the wait. Crazy combinations, flavor bombs throughout and a culinary delight you won't regret. Tonight, we sat at the bar and watched the magic happen. These guys are cranking out amazing and delectable treats you won't forget. The Uncle salad was a great starter with charred cabbage, lemongrass, mint, cilantro, arugula, and peanuts lightly coated in a Thai coconut dressing. A slight burn only leaving you to crave just one more bite, ha! The fried soft shell crab in a bao bun with green papayo slaw, coconut mayo and cilantro nam prik was sweet, perfect crunch and memorable. Two for two with one dish left. The cold spicy sesame noodles with seasoned chicken, granny Smith apple slivers, arugula, cashews and nanami togorashi, a perfect closing dish for an exceptional meal. The service, food quality, flavors and preformance from the bar seats were second to none. The concept, portion size, flavor and cost were a real treat in the big city food scene of Denver. If you haven't been here yet, get to the internet and book a table, I promise you won't regret it. To the staff, chefs, and all members of Uncle, thank you for a surprising and incredibly great meal, we will return on our future trips to Denver.

Noodles are a regular fixture when we want a quick fix and our version of fast food. With plenty of seating on this Monday evening, our party of three were seated immediately. They also have a few izakaya options perfect for sharing. * Black Tonkotsu $18 - The Little Guy got this and slurped the whole thing up, even the wood ear mushrooms which he usually leaves behind. He actually asked to return the next day because he loved it so much and just loved it. 5/5 * Menya Special $16.50 - I got this one and it was fine. Although I think I was a bit jealous as the Black Tonkotsu looked like it had different kind of noodles. The egg was perfectly cooked. 4/5 * Udon $16.50 - The Little Gal had this as she is a fan of udon any day. She ate pretty much the whole thing herself. Overall, Menya Noodle Bar served its purpose. What a cute little place!!…read more It was late in the evening and I was getting hangry. I was craving ramen and Neko came up during my Yelp research. They were open late, so we decided to go. The restaurant was popping at 22:00 on a Friday. We were greeted warmly by staff. It was intriguing to us that we ordered via an iPad kiosk as if we were at a boba place, but we didn't mind. However, usually only to go orders are placed on a kiosk. In my hangry state of mind, I had not realized that Neko only serves their ramen with chicken broth, so for those of you who prefer tonkotsu broth, this isn't the place for you. For that reason, my husband had to order a chashu rice bowl instead. Personally, I enjoy both paitan and tonkotsu. I went with the black garlic ramen. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive. While we waited, we dispensed water for ourselves from the soda fountain. I was a little confused upon receiving my black garlic ramen, as I thought the black garlic oil would be more prominent. I was assured that I had the right bowl. My husband enjoyed his chashu rice bowl. I had a small bite and the pork was tender and well-seasoned. The paitan broth was very umami indeed. I would have liked to have more of a black garlic flavor, but it was still good. Next time I would just pay the extra $2 for more black garlic oil. The noodles were bouncy, and the chashu was tender. The egg was deliciously jammy (alas no photo because I devoured it). I saw they had soy sauce and hot sauce, but wish they had the classic chili powder so I could have added some to my ramen. Neko Ramen & Rice hit for late night noms, and the cat-themed decor all around (since Neko means cat in Japanese) was such a vibe. They also serve curry, poke, and various small bites if you want some apps to enjoy before your entrees. If you don't mind chicken broth for your ramen or will be ordering rice bowls instead, Neko is a fun little place to come dine at, especially since they open late.

The Saigon Curry is nice and cozy, perfect for a winter day. It also happens to taste exactly like the Vietnamese style curry I enjoyed when I was younger.
