Super hyped restaurant right in walking distance of the house and it's worth the hype! I love omurice a traditional Japanese dish where an egg omelet with a soft center is cut over the top of rice with a sauce covering the dish when cut. Very very tasty and very technical to make so there's not many places in town to get it. And it's worth the try! Also need a little preface. Japanese food is very subtle. Very balanced. And not in your face at any point. That's how the food is here. Well balanced. Not too salty. Not too spicy. Not too saucy. So keep that in mind. We also ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the omurice came with tonkatsu (a fried pork cutlet). The ramen uses a thicker ramen noodle and lighter broth. I'm a bigger fan of thinner ramen noodles but I also know a ton of people who prefer thicker noodles so if you're a thicker noodle fan this is the spot for you! The pork chashu meat is very tender. Has a great charred flavor too it and compliments the meal. For the price of the ramen it includes corn and a few other extras which is awesome because the price of ramen is too high for corn to cost an extra 2 bucks at most ramen spots. The ramen I give a 8/10 for Vegas! Very solid and not a bad value! Next is the omurice. Absolutely tasty! I got the demiglace sauce because in Japan that would be the typical type of sauce (most of the time it's a ketchup in Japan so a demiglace is pretty close). They cut the omurice in front of you, the fried rice is fragrant and the tonkatsu cutlets? So good. Lowkey one of the best tonkatsu cutlets I've ever had in Vegas. Next time I'll get the curry sauce for the omurice but glad I tried it with the demiglace first! And if you order the omurice it comes with a dessert! I got the match pudding and wow. It was a great matcha flavor and was akin to a panecota. So. Good. And finally the decor and ambiance of this spot is awesome! We sat in the honeycomb seats which have an interesting sound property to them. You can hear your date much better because of how the seating is set up for the honeycomb seats. So cute! And finally. The service. Joy was awesome! She was very attentive to us and gave great recommendations and was overall so vibrant and nice. Lots of spots are hyped and then fall off. It was funny, I found this resturant on IG and the next day my husband and I went there. The ambiance was amazing. We got sat at the bar top. I was really looking forward to sitting at the honey comb, but it was fine. We got to watch the cook make the ramen bowls. We ordered some appetizers. Agedashi tofu and Japanese fried oysters, for our dinner, it was the classic Japanese omurice combo with my matcha pudding. Pork tonkatsu omurice combo with curry sauce. Wish I could have experienced the great service everyone else has seemingly been receiving. Long wait to get seated, but I was expecting and ready for that considering all the hype. What I wasn't expecting was the long wait to just get my order in. I think my serve Jake was too concerned with trying to pass off his tables to the next server since he was leaving. Ordered the combo A which came with a bao bun, ramen, and pudding. The food runners came out with the bao bun and ramen in a timely order. But then the wait for the pudding and the check was excruciating, because I think that fell onto the servers responsibility. And lo and behold my new server was absent. The couple that got sat next to me even waited ten minutes before the server even greeted them. It's unfortunate really. Very nice looking, and clean restaurant. The ramen was very good, and definitely something I'd want to eat again and try the other kinds they offer. I really want to try their omurice. That said, the fried rice underneath was quite good, and the cutlet itself was beautifully crispy--especially enjoyable when dipped into the sauce. WOWOWOW. I think our waitress's name was Emily, and she absolutely crushed it. Attentive without hovering, warm without being performative. So I called (12/26/2025) to see if we would be able to make a reservation for a future date and the young girl working at 4:30pm ish answered the phone with a "hello" in a sassy tone and you would even know you were Kryuramen, how odd. So I politely asked if I could make a reservation and she answered 8 or more in a very bad attitude and loud, So I asked her "who am I speaking with" and she replied with "The Host" so I asked for a name and she refused and asked if I would like to speak to a manager, so I said yes and would like your name. She put me on hold and grabbed her manager with also no name. The Manager pretended like she could not her me after my whole explanation and then asked how big is my group. We have been searching for Omurice and finally we have one here. Saw ad on social media and brought family to have lunch. Place was busy and were qouted an hour wait. We did wait but were seated within 25 mins. Our server was Jacob and he was very insightful on the menu offerings. It's good to have servers actually know and also have suggestions on the food. He also kept us updated on our order and checked on us from time to time even when they were packed. Place is cute and trendy. Found this place on tik tok and was so excited to come try! Their interior looked worth the visit alone! But let me tell you.... It is not worth the hype. Save your time & money! Had to try Kyuramen after seeing the omurice pics. Came in around 12:45 and there was around 7 people ahead of us on the waiting list. We got our table within 20 minutes. Started off with a Tbaar Taro smoothie with lychee jelly. My favorite has always been Brew Tea but I think I found a new favorite. Must try. My wife and I decided to order 2 different omurice so we can try both sauces and desserts. The presentation is one of a kind and the taste was good too but it is kind of expensive since it's basically egg and fried rice. It's a great experience but not sure if I would order it again. The food was delicious. I had a goal set to order their Omurice when I arrived, and indeed I ordered. (I'll post the video down below to show how it's prepared). The service is incredible. For a decent size restaurant, a lot of the servers were working double time, so minor delay, but worth every second. The environment of the restaurant is very chill and laidback. Love, love, love this new ramen restaurant! When walking in, you can feel the positive energy of the place. The decor is absolutely adorable and we loved our table above the stairs. The wait to be seated was not long, and we noticed they got progressively busier as the night went on. Service stayed on point throughout our dining time. Mint was our waitress and she had two Sean's helping. The manager (I'm assuming) came to check on us often to make sure we were happy with our food and experience. Ramen was delicious and so were the drinks. I like that they give you an incentive to finish your bowl of ramen to see if you won a prize at the bottom. Best part was the bag we received at the end with the charms inside for spending over a certain amount of money. Not sure how long those will last with how popular this restaurant is/going to be. We went there twice, and both times the service was awful. First time, they only served one of the bowls. We had to alert the server to cancel the 2nd bowl as we finished the first one just waiting for the 2nd. They apologized and gave us a coupon for next time. We literally went the next day and sat for 20 minutes without getting glass of water or acknowledged (we sat at the bar both times). I can't even review the food cause they can't provide the service. We just walked out hungry mostly frustrated that they were serving the group right next to us for the whole time we were sitting there, and we showed up the 2nd time thinking the 1st time was a mistake. So like most people, the only reason I knew about this place was because my girlfriend saw it on Tik Tok. We knew it was going to be a long wait so we were not going to judge the place based on that. First thing we noticed was like I saw mentioned in another review. The space is kinda large. The decor is very nice but there's a lot of unused space where tables could be. Replace the unusually sized high table with only 4 stools since it's an odd choice instead of just regular tables like how the back corner is set up. Second thing was while we were waiting. We looked at reviews of the place and noticed a good number mention issues with the ramen. Either being bland or lukewarm. We were a bit concerned that a ramen place can't even get the thing their named for correct. Third thing was when we finally sat down (at the weird high table, fancy that). We noticed that the staff just looks surprisingly dull. The hostesses smiled as expected but all the wait staff seemed like they didn't even want to be here. Not to say the service was bad, because it was pretty good. They just didn't seem to be enjoying the job. Fourth was the food. I ordered the omurice with pork Katsu combo and my girlfriend ordered the tonkotsu shoyu with black garlic. When the food arrived the person bringing the food asked if I wanted to take a video of him cutting the omelette open so I said yes (video attached). This was another staff member that just seemed like they didn't even want to be there. The pork Katsu looked kinda thin compared to what is advertised on the menu and it was terribly cut. The omurice appeared as it should and I was excited to dig in. Immediately I was disappointed by the fact it was not hot and fresh. It was warm but eggs cool down very fast so I to can tell it wasn't brought out when it should have been. The flavor was all good but the heat would have made it better. Even the rice on the inside wasn't as hot as it should have been. The pork was actually piping hot and pretty tender. The flavor was pretty good as well. Probably the best thing of the entire meal. Lastly was the ramen. Presentation wise it was great looking. My girlfriend immediately dug in and it was also just warm! Ramen is supposed to be hot! So you have a reason to slurp it. The broth was in need of more seasoning for something that's supposed to be a best of both worlds kind of broth. On top of that the noodles were way too soft if it was to pass as fresh from the kitchen. It wasn't even worth it to her to finish and see if she won anything since they advertise if you finish your bowl and see a specific red mark you win some kind of prize. She usually finishes her bowl so it was obvious it was lacking. It's obvious there's some tweaking that needs to happen for the kitchen to get orders out when they're hot and ready. Ramen needs to be hot not warm. Eggs even ones mentioned as being undercooked on the menu should be served hot and fresh. Oh and I almost forgot. Why is a Japanese restaurant playing KPop music? This isn't the only place that does it but wouldn't you expect to hear Jpop or JRock instead? You know Japan has their own forms of pop music, right? Seems kinda messed up to continue this trend. The wife and I were in the mood for ramen tonight as it is cold outside, and she had heard of this new place. So we decided to try it. We were less than impressed. We get there at 430, and there is no ody waiting. We were told that there would be a 5-10 minute wait for a table, so we were cool. They did not take our names down, but with nobody waiting, we didn't see that as an issue. And then shift change happened, where we were immediately forgotten about. We were asked several times if we were waiting for someone, at which point we said we were waiting for a table. That 10 minutes turned into 20. And at that, they wanted to sit us at a high top, which we did not want. We finally sit down, and it takes 10 more minutes for our waitress to check on us. We order: I got the Yinyang Bowl and a coconut smoothie, and the wife got the spicy tonkatsu...and what she thought was unsweetened green ice tea. And it took another 15 minutes to get our food. Followed by another 10 minutes to get our drinks. The spicy tonkatsu tasted ok, but it was not spicy. The Yinyang Bowl was not worth it; the side without corn tasted ok but was missing that coated mouth feel, while the side with the corn was spicy but had zero flavor. And the marinated eggs? Yuck. Like, super double yuck. No marinade, not flavor, just slimy middle. The coconut smoothie with boba was the highlight of the meal. It was cool and tasty. The tea, on the other hand, literally tasted like dish soap. It was so bad the wife could not finish it. We finish, and then we waited for 10 minutes before someone asked if we needed something else. Nope, just the check. Which took another 20 minutes to get. We were here for more than an hour for two bowls of ramen and two drinks. The service was rotten. Some of the food was ok, while some was simply bad. 2 stars is being generous here, but that smoothie really did save this from being a one-star review. All told, we won't be back. The level of service and quality of food is just cannot be overcome by that smoothie. read more
