I brought my large family here for dinner and was really disappointed by how rudely we were treated. When we sat down, the hostess snapped at us that my toddler couldn't press the button on the table and had to be moved. Understandable rule, but the tone was completely unnecessary. A few minutes later, the same hostess (who had just walked back into the restaurant with a shopping bag?) came over and very curtly told me my toddler couldn't walk up and down the stairs. For context, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table seated, and he wasn't disturbing anyone. At that point, I decided to cancel our entire order, over $200, and take our business elsewhere. We went to Top Sushi instead and were warmly welcomed and treated with kindness, a complete contrast to the experience we had here. This restaurant looks like it could really use customers, but with staff treating families this way, it's no surprise why people wouldn't come back. We certainly won't be returning. read more

Soo glad I got to try Kyuramen today! We ordered the Honeycomb Platter, Vegetable Miso Ramen, and Matcha Tiramisu. Also had Grapefruit Tea with Aloe since there's a boba bar connected to the restaurant. The honeycomb platter was amazing and I'd definitely recommend it to everyone as an appetizer! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The vegetable miso ramen was great as well. Broth is mild and comforting, and the bowl comes with a decent serving of fresh veggie toppings. It's not obvious in the picture but their serving of noodles was big, so my mom and I ended up sharing. Thankfully they offer many kinds of extra toppings (tonkatsu, kimchi, egg, etc.) so we got extra bamboo shoots. The matcha tiramisu was perfect, it wasn't too sweet and the matcha they use tastes great! Not bitter at all but still earthy which I really loved. The restaurant itself is spacious and well-lit, and eating at one of the honeycomb booths was a fun experience. Service was exceptional for sure and the staff checked on us from time to time to make sure everything was alright. We ordered the Tonkatsu Omurice which appeared on the menu as a combo, meaning you get a choice of Thai tea or lemonade to go along with it. All of the food was delicious, including the Thai tea which was perfectly sweetened. The only thing I'd change about the meal was having it served slightly warmer, but everything was flavorful nonetheless. I have no complaints about the service as the hosts were friendly, servers were attentive, despite the brevity of our stay, and the dish even came out very quickly. Although the interior was very aesthetic and fitting to the cuisine, I recommend opting for the regular chairs and table over the booths, which had its seats wooden with reclined back rests. Unless you don't mind hunching over your table, the booth seats can be impractical if you plan on taking your time to chat over your meal. read more

My boyfriend and I used to love coming here last year but, as time has gone on the staff has become very rude and unprofessional. They seem to be very annoyed by us every time we come in. Our server came up to our table for us to order after we pressed the call button and didn't even say a word which was very odd. We asked to be seated in a booth every time we come and the hosts will say that the table is reserved but then no one will come sit there. We asked them another time to move us as the private room they seated us in was very hot, we had to keep requesting to move to the host until finally we told our server and he moved us. Maybe there is something going on with management or these people are not getting treated right. The honeycomb, private, and bar seating offer variety and unique seating options and I haven't seen it get very busy either so the food comes out rather quickly. Staff members were extremely friendly, greeting us before we even fully stepped into the establishment. There isn't much seating, but the layout is an extremely nice set up with a boba shop, regular dining tables and little booths that are in the shape of "honeycombs", yes you heard that correctly. A very unique design in my opinion! We were sat immediately and received our food just a few minutes after ordering. The chicken ramen was good, not the best, but still had a good taste! The black garlic tonkotsu ramen was fantastic, absolutely no complaints. Both gyozas and pork buns as appetizers were also extremely delicious. My only two complaints were that a drink we ordered didn't come with the lychee jelly that we paid for, and that the ramen wasn't as hot in temperature as you'd expect a typical ramen broth to be.
