When it was time for my appointment, several other names were called before mine, despite my having been waiting since noon. At checkout, I expected the advertised first-time guest pricing based on how my appointment was booked. Instead, I was told I had to pay full price because it was considered my second visit. When I asked what the total was, my question was not answered. I was simply asked for my ZIP code and told to tap my card. I only saw the total after the transaction had already been processed. After leaving, I realized I had never been offered a receipt, so I went back inside to request one. When I returned, I could hear the front desk discussing me with the esthetician, including asking whether I had left a tip and how much it was. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, the conversation focused on my gratuity. I asked another esthetician if she could please ask them to stop talking about me because I had a question. Her response was, "What are you going to do about it?" I was shocked by how unprofessional that interaction was. The waxing service itself was fine, but the customer service experience was not. From the confusing checkout process and lack of price transparency to the way my concerns were handled afterward, I left feeling dismissed and disrespected.
