    Grand opening between 15-17AUG

You know what makes my Monday blues blown away in a quick hurry? Getting dan bing from L'uxweet!! And you know what makes getting dan bing from L'uxweet extra special and amazing? DISCOVERING THAT L'uxweet is now having their soft opening of their brand new Aliso Viejo location!!!! It is inside 99Ranch right near the register area and opposite direction of their bakery. You can place an order in-person, using their kiosk, or online ahead of time. Parking is free and easy. The grand opening days are between 15-17AUG and it will include gifts with purchase. This totally made my day as I have been driving 30-45 minutes to their Tustin store just to get my weekly dan bing fix. Now I can actually get them DAILY if I wanted to! I love their Taiwanese BBQ Pork pancakes with basil and I sure hope everybody gives them a try. The pancakes are not the typical sweet and fritter like things many are familiar with here in the US. They are savory and has eggs, light batter, and pork or other fillings in it. It is more like savory crepes instead of round sweet fritters. L'uxweet also has delicious offerings of sandwiches and boba drinks as well. I also love their pork over rice dishes. I mean I am a little biased here but I honestly don't know anything they offer that DOESN'T taste good.

Located inside 99 Ranch, you can order at the kiosk and shop while it's being made. They text you when it's ready, capping off a pretty convenient way to order. We had the BBQ Pork egg pancake and thought it was a pretty good amount of food for the price. Very tasty, as well.

I went to 99 Ranch Market and was really excited this stand finally opened. I have been to their Tustin location and really liked the food there. There is a kiosk to order food and there are options to customize your order which I think is a plus since everyone has different preferences or dietary concerns. I ordered the bbq pork egg pancake and it was very delicious and flavorful. The egg pancake batter was homemade, very thick and fluffy. The bbq pork was nicely seasoned and very moist. It tasted very authentic Taiwanese taste. The owner was very friendly, the price was reasonable. I definitely will come back to try more items on their menu. A good tip is to order your food and you can go grocery shopping. They will text you when your food is ready. I got my grocery shopping done and got my breakfast piping hot and ready for me!

Their pancake rolls are soooo yummy. The dough is unlike any other scallion pancake I've ever had. It almost had a mochi texture and consistency. Really unique and definitely worth a try. This location is inside the new 99 ranch market and seating is always available. We ordered the sandwiches too and the bread was toasted to perfection. It definitely reminded me of a Taiwanese breakfast item, in my opinion the pancakes are definitely the way to go! They have a combo option that allows you to try both. It also comes with a drink! Really yummy snack spot and would def come back.

The Taiwanese pancakes were a little on the eggier side than I'm used to, but it was a welcomed experience. I love that this is inside 99 Ranch and would come back to try more of their menu. The place itself is very clean and small. The staff was very kind and answered all of my questions.

The Pork Belly Rice Bowl was succulent and satisfying. It came with a hard boiled egg, a good amount of greens and rice. The pork was thinly sliced with a good amount of fat to keep it from drying out. Ordering meals at L'uxweet are straightforward, efficient, clean. Will definitely come back for more satisfying meals.

My wife and I were at 99 Ranch and decided to stop by this kiosk for lunch. We ordered the Signature Pork Belly Rice Box. Not the healthiest choice for a meal but sometimes you have to indulge. It was a big portion: lots of (fatty but that's the way it's supposed to be) pork belly with an egg, rice, house sauce and cabbage and cucumber. Very filling (one order left both of us full), satisfying and very tasty! We sat at a counter within 99 Ranch which is nice but there are also standing tables near the kiosk. The woman who was the owner also gave us samples of their milky tea drink, which was very refreshing. She was very nice and I'd like to some of their other dishes on a future visit to 99 Ranch.

Came during the soft opening and it is located inside the 99 Ranch Market. Pro tip: there is an online order option available so you can just go right in to pick up your order! It was easy peasy no fuss. Cute shop. Cashier was super nice and even gave us a free drink! What we ordered: - Toast and Drink Combo (4/5): We got it with the house BBQ pork. Flavors were great when you had the middle of the sandwich, otherwise the bread is just very... bready and a bit dry? Just wishing the bread was a bit fluffier. - House BBQ Bing/pancake (5/5): Very much a comfort food. Love the flavors here and textures of the soft pork. - Black Pepper Beef (4/5): Came with a boiled egg, pickled cucumbers, and cabbage. It wasn't that memorable, but still a good comfort meal. I feel like it was missing something, maybe some more sweetness from the onions or extra sauce. It is a classic. - Luxsweet Tea (5/5): My new go-to Taiwanese milk tea here in Aliso. Very much fragrant and can adjust the sweetness to your liking. - Wintermelon Tea (4/5): We actually got both, one with milk and one without. The one with milk will be VERY sweet because this is the nature of wintermelon so I suggest you dial the sweetness down. I think the one we got for free was the one without milk and I actually liked this one better! Overall, great new lunch spot to try out. Will def come back when I'm craving some tea and bing!

Excellent Taiwanese breakfast inside the Aliso Viejo 99 Ranch! Try the Basil BBQ Pork Egg Crepe. Great flavor and I love the cucumbers on the side. The thick toast sandwiches are also tasty - try the Beef Patty Toast or the Honey Citron Toast.

My daughter had heard that the boba was good here so we stopped by to try it. She asked do you have boba? The lady said yes. We call it QQ boba. So we ordered the Luxsweet Milk Tea with brown sugar QQ boba. Firstly, it is not the usual dark brown boba that everyone knows. It's more similar to Crystal boba from Pengo and it reminds me of the lychee in those jelly cups - but it tasted gross. It's also NOT chewy. All in all, it completely missed the mark.

I found Milk & Honey Café on Yelp and it looked cute, so we decided to check it out. It's tucked into a shopping plaza but has such a charming little café vibe when you walk in. The service was quick and super friendly, which is always appreciated when you're fresh off a hike and just want caffeine ASAP. We both ordered iced Americanos and they were honestly perfectly smooth, strong, and exactly what we needed. While we were there it started getting pretty busy with people coming in for coffee and grabbing food, which is always a good sign. We overheard a few people talking about how good the food is, so now I'm definitely curious and will have to come back to try something off the menu. Overall it was a great little post-hike stop. Good coffee, great energy, and a cute spot to hang for a bit. We'll definitely be back.

They were doing their best, but because of that, our food took quite a while to come out. My husband ordered the ube boba, but unfortunately it wasn't drinkable--the boba was very mushy. We didn't send it back, but it was disappointing. On the bright side, I did enjoy my parfait--it was fresh and really good. Overall, I'd consider coming back, but probably earlier in the day. Solid spot with a great vibe, just needs a little consistency.

I ended up ordering the matcha with a cream top and my boyfriend got the mango smoothie. Here is our review of both: Mango Smoothie: this was just the typical tasting smoothie. Nothing too special or fresh tasting about it. It is just the normal juice/syrup based smoothie. Matcha: the sugar was sitting at the bottom of the cup and the matcha tasted bland overall. It was more milky than anything. I could not really taste the cream top, as it was so thin that it kind of mixed throughout my drink before I could try it. Overall, we came here to try the poki but just wanted to get drinks from here to try as well. I would not recommend coming to this place, as there are other options nearby that have better matcha.

There's…read morejust one employee who's the cook so you order at the tablet and you're texted when your order is ready. There's also nowhere to sit. There's two counters and some odd table sculpture thing but no stools or chairs. Very unwelcoming and odd. I ordered the oolong black tea and "Dan Bing" which is a Taiwanese pancake with egg plus different filling choices. I went with kimchi and cheese. I finally saw a human when my order was ready which didn't take too long. There's a communal patio which Peet's coffee customers take all of it. There was one crappy table in full sun and no chair. I had to ask another table if I could have a chair. As other reviewers mention the looks are deceiving. The tiny take out container was really heavy. For the price this was a great portion and I was pleasantly full. This meal was love at first bite! It looked like a crepe but thicker and had a chewy mochi like texture. It was LOADED with cheese and the kimchi was delightfully sour. I loved every bite and was sad when I finished. Some reviews don't like the texture but I thought it was great. I seriously can't wait to return and try the BBQ pork one. They also have sandwiches and rice plates. The tea was fantastic. Really potent roasted flavor. Unfortunately I didn't realize it was sweetened. The tablet lets you adjust sweetness but the guy behind me was waiting to order so I felt rushed and didn't notice. Great place besides the uncomfortable atmosphere. I see in older pictures they had chairs so they need to bring those back.

While efficient, it felt impersonal and lacked hospitality. We ordered the Black Pepper Beef Toast ($9.95) and the Original Egg Pancake ($7.95). The Black Pepper Beef Toast was underwhelming as the bread was dry/flaky, and the beef portion felt sparse and unevenly distributed throughout the sandwich. This is one item I would skip on a future visit. The Original Egg Pancake was also disappointing. The cucumbers placed on top made the pancake soggy almost immediately, even when eaten right away. Texture-wise, it leaned more chewy and mochi-like rather than crispy which wasn't what I was expecting. It also came with very little sauce; a small side portion would have gone a long way in improving the dish. Overall, the food didn't quite live up to the hype, and neither item left a strong impression.
