It was supposed to be a croffle cheese but their machine broke nonetheless the coin cheese was Yumm!!! The staff were really attentive and were really welcoming! I was running some errands and was in the mood for a boba. I do not like my boba drinks too sweet so the staff was helpful in helping me chose a drink where I can adjust the sugar level. I actually wanted something with no sugar and was told I can adjust the sugar level on the fruit teas. It is a little harder than most places since most of their drinks use flavored syrup in their drinks. I ordered the lychee peach tea with 1 pump of lychee and 1 pump of peach syrup. Flavoring was very subtle since they usually use 2 pumps of lychee and 4 pumps of peach but I did like it because it was not very sweet. I added some regular boba too. The drink comes with bits of lychee fruit which is a nice touch. Some of the boba pearls were a little mushy and others were fine. A very cute shop but I haven't found the perfect drink here for me. read more

Boba Shop, Laguna Hills CA We stopped by Ralph's to get a few sundries and we saw this boba shop on the same shopping center. This is located in the Alicia Town Center in Laguna Hills. We entered the shop, empty at the time. Inside had a good number of table seating with high top tables too. A couple of outdoor tables were set up outside. They have an extensive menu with lots of handcrafted drink options. They offer reusable bottles and straws with your drinks and if you return with your clean glass a discount will be applied. We ordered a couple of smoothies: Strawberry Banana and Avocado Creamy. Yummy, we got them in disposable cups. We were traveling and no room for the glass bottles in our small luggage. DO NOT ORDER THE FRUIT DRINKS IF YOU NOT A FAN OF ARTIFICIAL FLAVORED FRUIT DRINKS! As someone who dislikes super artificially flavored drinks - it was a disappointment for me and my younger brother who ordered the Blueberry and Strawberry flavored ones - actual names are on the pictures attached. Adding toppings to the drink did not help us. My sister on the other hand ordered a green matcha blended smoothie - and it was an absolute, sweet satisfaction. I think this station is better for milk tea based drinks. The desserts they have tend to be pricier than I expected and did not look appealing enough for me to try. Otherwise, quite a cute boba place to visit. My siblings and I were about to get the glass bottles they sell but for its price I think you can get prettier ones. The logo and the bottle seemed too small than what is advertised in pictures. We came to visit by a 15 min drive - and I think it isn't worth it if you are living closer to other boba tea shops. Wow I really love this Boba shop! They always have deals that are buy one get one free. Seriously they are generous and the drinks are amazing! Whenever I want something desert like, I go for the cookie frap which is like Oreos shake. And when I want something healthy I get the water melon juice! It's so refreshing! Every business is now using them and looking for tips- look , I do not mind tipping for great service, but if I tip before I even get service, then how am I supposed to judge how much to tip? I frequent Pengo a lot and I am sick of paying extra and not getting anything in return. One time I ordered the snow and it is supposed to come with a wafer on top, when I got it, there was not a wafer, I asked about this and they said "Oh we are out of that" -how about telling me that before I order? This Pengo is a really fun and cute location, with a Fluffy Bear collaboration. I got the Peach it Up, a seasonal Pengo drink with fresh peach, chia, mint, lime, and Sparkling water. I also added aloe vera. The drink was very refreshing and fruity, but I wish it was a riper, more flavorful peach. They also have an interesting aloe vera compared to others I've had- it's more crunchy, less jello-y. Overall I enjoyed my drink, and service was very good! read more

As a disclaimer, I did not get a milk tea drink so my review may not be representative of the drinks that might be more popular here. It was later at night so I got the Mangonada as it didn't have caffeine. The drink was fine at first but the drink separated after a few minutes and didn't retain the same taste as it did initially. There were self-service kiosks so I can't comment on the service other than the fact the drinks were made quickly. The location was very empty and the music played was almost too loud to sustain a conversation at normal volume. Overall, I would probably not return on my own but am open to trying their other drinks, such as their Pengo Drinks or teas. read more

I've been going to the pengo in lake forest for some time since my girlfriend loves it. With their bogo free deal, I had to get myself some of their fruit teas! First trip I got an oolong mango tea, which wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It wasn't as sweet as expected and the mango wasn't very powerful. The second trip I got a kiwi kick, which was really good! I love the tangy, sweet chunks of kiwi with the mint and lime. It reminds me of a mint julep! read more

Looking for boba in the Laguna hills area, ended up getting very refreshing and light flavored drinks (watermelon cooler and tropical twister). The watermelon one is made with REAL watermelon and it is not that sweet because it's just the natural flavors and juices. They always have great deals (in this case it was a free size upgrade) and free printing for students lol. I had been coming to Fluffy Bear since 2019. I live in Nashville, so it's my treat once or twice a year when I visit my family. This year I noticed it changed to PengoxFluffybear on social media. I figured it was a merger of two brands but the menu stays the same. I went and didn't see the floats on the menu, which is the item that made it super unique and why I always picked this spot for boba. I asked about it and they said I could still get it, just pick my milk base and then told me the ice cream flavors. I asked for taro milk tea and a swirl ice cream of raspberry and vanilla. I got an orangish colored drink with white ice cream. They put a sipping lid on it and sent me on my way. Tarro is usually not orange but purple so I was suspicious. I don't think it was taro. Also the ice cream was only vanilla. No spoon was given so had to try and drink the ice cream. Overall, my order was wrong and I was pretty disappointed. I was a regular at this location. Hit or miss with boba. Not a top notch milk tea, but it was good enough and they are open late. There is another place across the street and they usually serve better boba. Anyway, the reason for a review is my last experience. One of the girls got real smart. I know that boba can be hard, especially after 6 pm. I stopped by after work on June 15th. Here is my dialogue: - Hi! Can you tell me if your boba fresh now? - We make new boba every 5-6 hours - Is it soft? - It is warm! I missed all red flags and hoped to get my tea and vanish. I never write bad reviews but this one really deserved it I was a little hesitant to try this spot but it was close by so went here. My bf got a mango tajin slush, & it had way too much tajin. You could barely taste the mango lol. I forgot what I got, but it was a tea drink with fruits. The honey boba definitely didn't taste like it was infused with honey, it just tasted so bland. Both drinks were sour & were so bad we only took a sip. As someone who gets boba regularly everywhere in oc, I know what's good & what's not. This spot just wasn't it for us. read more
