So, I initially had some trouble with my fridge that started out with some weird rumbling noises and then eventually progressed into not getting as cold as it should. I called around to a couple of different appliance repair companies and set up a consult with one and had the technician come in to take a look. He poked and prodded and then claimed that it was going to cost about $400 to repair which I automatically thought was outrageous. (It wasn't cooling as well, but it wasn't totally shot!) I took my leave of that company and contacted Tony instead. I'm so happy I did! He was prompt and courteous, asked me specific questions over the phone to get a better idea of my issue and then we set a time for him to come in between 2-4 PM. He arrived earlier in the window then I expected and went straight to work. Turned out it wasn't a big issue like the other guy made it seem and said that he could do it for $143. What a deal! On top of that, he noticed my ice maker was being janky and after messing with it for 10 minutes, the ice started coming out smoothly again! I didn't even ask but he was already eager to help. Our microwave slowly quit working, would not heat items. We called LA Appliances and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Eugene came on time and immediately diagnosed the problem as the power unit (magnetron) and gave us a quote to repair. He also suggested we look around for a new microwave as it might be less costly than repairing. We compared numerous locations and ultimately decided for the repair. Eugene showed up, sooner than we expected, and rapidly replaced the unit. LA also did as advertised and deducted the previous service call charge. I'll start by saying this is the first review I have ever left. I cannot say enough good things about the kind, courteous, professional work ethic of Eugene from LA appliances. Not only did he fix my fridge that seemed to have multiple problems, he kindly offered to fix my air conditioning that I had been trying for 3 weeks to get repaired. I had tried 3 other technicians, one of which failed to come back at all, a second that wanted to charge me $3200 for a repair that Eugene completed after hours (9-11pm) and for a total of $136. I would confidently, and infact have already recommended him to many people needing electrical service and we would 200% call him again should we require. Tony is amazing!! My air conditioning stopped working on a 100° day at my business. I called a different air conditioning company to come take a look at my unit and they informed me that I had some part broken that was backordered and they were not able to fix it that day. After they left I called Tony and he arrived shortly after. He was able to find the problem within minutes and come up with a solution to fix it for significantly less than the previous company quoted me. This man's a hero!!
