A response came from Jason within the hour, indicating that a diagnostic is $65 which would be applied to any subsequent repair costs. 2 I called the business around 9AM and was told a technician Gary would be available between 10AM-12PM. 3 Gary arrived a little after 11AM and was great with the diagnostic. I was nosy and he was explaining along the way about the control panel. In the end it turned out that the repair costs would be around the price within a few hundred dollars of a new machine, as the panels were shorting out. All in all really great experience particularly due to Gary's candor, knowledge sharing and honesty. We have a GE machine and he advised to only get LG, top-loader preferred with as few features as possible. He also gave a vendor recommendation for discount washing machines. I very much appreciate his time although I probably slowed him down with my questions. The dishwasher had flooded onto the floor and was not starting a new cycle last night.
