Hit a Bulls-Eye on the second try!
    Tracie V.

My boyfriend, me and a few of our friends decided to go out for the night. My boyfriend decided to surprise us with Ax throwing. He and I had gone in 2021 but it was our friends first time. Our trainer, Josh, was AMAZING! Josh was super skilled, thoughtful, and motivating! We all hit the bulls eye during our play. I was glad to have had Josh as our trainer. Evan, the manager was also really nice! Evan made sure my friends bf and I were having a great time and made us feel very welcomed! Thank you LA AX!  We'll definitely back soon!

If you haven't been, you must. Went on a double date w/ My brother and sister in law (they're regulars) and had such a blast. Not going to lie, the thought of flinging a very sharp axe into mid air completely terrified me but after some much needed practice and expert tips from our designated couch (an actual employee), I managed to get some major points. A lot of other cool games to partake in: corn hole, life size jenga and soccer. Drinks are very typical, nothing major but they do the trick and reasonably priced. The whole experience is a 10/10 for me. Do not forget to tip your coach!!!!

Loved this experience!! Went with a group of 4 for a birthday celebration and it was a blast! Our instructor, Renzo, was the best and was great at what she does! She made sure we all felt comfortable with our throwing form and gave great feedback!! I would totally go back with a group of friends!

A bit frustrated that this place is advertised as an axe throwing place and not a bar that serves alcohol. I booked a reservation to take my family here to throw axes with a coach on a Sunday afternoon only to arrive and be told they couldn't participate because the establishment is a bar and everyone has to be 21 to enter. The employee said it's posted on the website. He was correct. But it does not explicitly state that this establishment is a bar and no one under 21 is not allowed. 21 and over was literally the last and smallest print item mentioned in my confirmation email. Nothing about the website implies that this place is a bar first and an axe throwing establishment second. One would only interpret that alcohol was optional. I've been to plenty of breweries where families are welcome. Since we couldn't leave our teens alone and go throw axes, I lost my deposit since their axe coach was already there. What a waste of time and money.

What a fun experience. This was my first time doing axe throwing. I gathered some friends, reserved a spot ($80 deposit that you can apply to your bill at the end of your visit or it can be refunded to your card). Our coach Jenna was absolutely wonderful! She was nice and welcoming, professional, and very patient. She stayed with us the whole time, going over the technique, making sure we do it safely. The place itself is specious and updated. I especially liked the wall of axes on the left side as you come in. As for parking, there is street parking and the guy there also said we can use the PCC parking lot right across the street. We were there on a Saturday morning so maybe that's why parking wasn't an issue. I'll be back again! Thank you for having us!

LA Ax! It was such a pleasure coming here as a first timer. We booked with a group of 8 and had a great 2 hour session. Our instructor Leeander was so patient, really helpful and provided us with all the tips to keep it safe but fun! The customer service was amazing. Street parking wasn't a problem. Overall our entire group would definitely go back.

Lauren (Renzo) was our coach and she made sure we had an absolute BLAST! If you can book her... DO IT. She's amazing and she'll ensure your group has an awesome experience. This was our first time and we were celebrating my little brother's bachelor party. Our friend Tristan really sucked, but she made sure he hit the target before we left. You can order a couple beers (2 max while throwing) and some snacks too. All in all, can't wait to come back here with my wife and other friends who haven't been yet. Thank you LA Ax for an awesome time!

Double date night with friends. Grassy, the instructor, did a great job in teaching us how to throw. We had a great time, will come again.

Outdoor throwing lanes. Much quieter than the inside.

Booked a private lane in advance and it was VIP treatment all the way. The check-in staff are enthusiastic and friendly. The facility is huge--multiple lanes indoors and outdoors. Giant fans keep the air circulating. They also disinfect between sessions. It's not uncomfortable but due to the various hard surfaces sound level is a bit high indoors with the music. The outdoor private pair of lanes in the back are much more chill. Lawn chairs off to the side with overhead string lights add to the classy ambiance. Crispy was our host and he was knowledgeable, fun and funny. Knew when to coach and when to just let you learn at your own pace. They have a mini bar outside too. A pleasant surprise at the end was getting a chance at throwing a full-size long axe. It's quite difficult compared to the hatchets--I didn't have the upper body strength to heave it anywhere near the target so Crispy let me get a few more practice throws in with the hatchet instead. So thoughtful. A super cool night out.

Omg what a great time! We were looking for something for a group to do and we stumbled upon this place. I've been by here a ton of times and never seen it. Well tonight that all changed. It was six of us. Our coach was Devon and he is a great guy. Really easy to talk to, he gives great instruction and he is very encouraging. Throwing an ax takes so much skill it's crazy. Before I did this tonight I thought you just step up and yuck the thing as hard as possible. NOT AT ALL!! Devon helps you through the whole process. We had a wicked awesome night! Thanks to the staff @LA AX we will be back.

Fun! I've been here a couple times and will go back again. The price is reasonable (by the hour, not throws). Cam was our instructor/guide last time and he was really nice & helpful. The guide helps give little tips/changes to help you improve your technique (but not in an annoying way). It's fun & challenging (and definitely not aggressive like I originally thought). I brought my friend here for her first time and she had a blast. They have a little bar with/without alcohol drinks. You have to share with other groups/walk ins unless there are none. It's nice to have a drink in between. They also have other games like a little soccer table, giant Jenna, & giant connect 4. Prices are fair & the saff is polite. There's parking on / across the street.

I wasn't a fan of how the helmet smelled though and of how the smoke smelled from the GoKarts. It was my first time trying it out so I don't know if that's normally how it is. I also didn't get to try the batting cages because they were closed 15 minutes before midnight, even though they advertised this spot closing at midnight. The Laser Tag activity was a pretty big space and I didn't find it stuffy at all, which was good. The VR next to the Laser Tag though was stuffy but at least there was an overhead fan. I personally don't trust how well they clean and disinfect the head masks, that's why I didn't try it. The arcade area was pretty limited in terms of games but they're always a good activity to do as an alternative from the other activities that have lines. Didn't get to try the mini-golf or the "bowling" area due to time. I like the outdoor patio and the ambiance of the string lights when you want to get some fresh air. Lots of families seated wherever they wanted and kids had a lot of stuff to play around with. Looking to see how this spot will compete with Round1 opening up soon in the mall. The water cup station is super handy, but they didn't want to refill the waters near the end of the night and the cups also, so we had to ask at the bar. I like that there's a good amount of staffing here who were all working hard. There's a few bathrooms spread out in the place. Parking is big in the back, just gets pretty dark.

Marc, the owner, was very nice and kind. He even allowed me to do a special request where I wore an outfit (which is a Morpshuit with t-shirt and shorts) underneath the gear used for the rage room. Very kind of him to accommodate this. I have never done a rage room before, so it was a unique experience. Shattering glass, and breaking things felt very liberating and it helped me release tension/anger. Additionally, at the very end, there was even another surprise where Marc even taught me how to throw ninja stars on the wooden board. It was super cool. At first, I couldn't get any ninja stars to stick, but on one of my final attempts, I actually did get the ninja star to stick, which was awesome!! I was pretty elated that I was able to do that! Anyways, shout out to Marc the owner for being very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cool, friendly place to do a rage room or an escape room. I should check out their escape rooms some time soon.

Also took a while before someone came out to help (I think they were in the back assisting maybe another customer?) but some signage would help. - Waivers could be sent prior to arrival to save on time since it was a google form - staff could be more welcoming and better at explaining. I understand it may be sketchy to go to a customer's car to evaluate items brought from home since it could be a risk to the staff, but I think it could either be instructed earlier before arrival OR simply just state that you cannot leave the business. The delivery of the comment made by the staff was not very smooth (almost felt like implying we were bringing something bad or wrong). - A timer inside the room might be helpful as it's hard to keep track of time once you're destroying things. - Phone "mount" could be better secured with a clasp or something because one bump and our phone fell on the ground where there's shards and scraps everywhere. This could have easily scratched the phone. - Room felt cramped, but understand that may be limited by the size of the store space. - Half of the group was arriving late, in which I shared upfront and thought that the staff would assist in getting them as ready as possible before our first group came out to swap, but when I came out, I saw that they had not even begun to change. I understand the face shield and gloves are limited quantities, but they could have started fitting in the other items like jumpsuit and face coverings. - Also as we were swapping, I ended up giving the second group the instructions when it really should have been the staff to give them the run through. It felt very disorganized during the swapping. For the price, I think it would be nice if each group received at least one larger item and not just cups, plates, and glass. All-in-all, it was fun to let out some rage by wrecking things and not having to clean it up. My friends and I did enjoy this different experience. Also fun to watch them from the room cam inside the Axe Room as they rage.
