    Axe throwing
    Myphuong L.

An all in one adventure with 2 escape rooms, 1 axe throwing, and a rage room. The escape rooms can be a minimum of 2 or maximum of 8 players depending on the room for 60 minutes. The axe throwing room is a private room with two lanes for 60 minutes. The rage room is a 30 minute session. They provide you with protective gear like mechanical overalls that go over your clothes, heavy duty gloves, and helmet. A bonus that they provide a head scarf liner that goes under the helmet to be clean and safe. In addition to the price of the room, you must purchase the items you want to break at 10 items for $20. You may also bring in your own items to break at no charge. Some of the items for purchase could be tiles, cups, plates or even furniture. Children as young as 5 years old have gone in smashing. There's a phone holder on wall to film yourself. Definitely check out the prices on the website. Follow the set of rules on what not to wear. You can rsvp on the site. Great team building event for work, friends and family gathering, and divorce parties in the smash room!

Had the BEST time celebrating my birthday at King Eye Escape! From start to finish, the staff made sure we were comfortable, safe, & having a blast. Gavin was our go-to that night!! He thoroughly walked us through both the axe throwing & rage room rules & even demoed proper techniques for the axes + blades. He checked in with us throughout the night & kept the vibe super chill and fun. Honestly, everyone working that night was amazing! I finally got to meet Mark after calling this place multiple times to book a party of 9 lol. He was so patient & kind every time I had a question. Shoutout to Sophia too, who got us into our rage room jumpsuits & made the whole process smooth & fun! Some notes if you're planning a visit: The rage room fits max 3 people Across the hall is the axe throwing room where the rest of our party chilled & took turns. 2 people can throw at a time! There's even a screen where they could watch us rage from the other room!! We set up a table out front with food we brought & YES, they allow alcohol (just no hard liquor! ). Since we were the last group of the night, they were pretty lenient with us which we really appreciated. And to top it all off... they brought out ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins next door!! Already planning my return ! Escape room.. or maybe even solo rage therapy after work. Thank you to the whole team for such a fun, memorable night!

Super fun experience in the "Rage Room"! My husband and I were in the room for about 30 minutes smashing items provided - glass plates, cups, mugs, ash trays, tiles, and other kitchen items. We were greeted by a friendly staff member (shoutout to Eddie!) upon arrival and dressed in safety gear. You can play music via bluetooth during your session, and even bring in your own items if you have them.

The staff was bright in both wit and personality, so it was super easy to have a blast beating up dish ware WITHOUT having to fear for safety, nor being robbed, nor waking up in an alley having had organs stolen (which has been the vibe at some OTHER places. LOVED this place! Already plotting when to go back with friends (and how we will raid relatives houses for things to bring with us to SMASH with delight when we do!)

Escape Room Harvest was the hardest escape room I've ever done, and I loved it! The puzzles were very creative and challenging. Really forces you to think outside the box! Kudos to Gavan a.k.a LeBron for being a great game host!

    Escaped!

Checked out Kings Eye today for Loot Wars: The X-traction and can't recommend it enough! Gavin, aka Lebron, was such a great gamemaster and set us up for a fantastic experience. We were greeted and walked through the game mechanics and backstory right when we arrived. Gavin made sure we had all our questions answered and that we were prepared walking in. The room was so much fun, we ended up chatting with Gavin for a bit afterwards and we ended up booking the second room room for the same day! So much fun doing both back to back and finishing the story. 10 out of 10 escape room experience from a couple that have done quite a few!

If you've got a lot of pent up anger their Rage Room is for you! I usually run or hit the gym to relieve stress, but this was so much more cathartic.

    Bullseye!

I came to King's Eye to experience axe throwing for the first time while in town visiting a friend. The host/instructor was amazing! He explained everything very clearly and checked on us regularly to make sure we were having a good time and gave us some really great pointers throughout our time there. It was really reasonably priced and is booked by the hour (as a person that likes having their day planned to a T, this was very appreciated lol). They also have a rage room and a couple escape rooms that we want to check out next time I'm in town. I would definitely recommend this place for people looking for a fun night out!

What are the age restrictions for the rage room?

As long as an adult is present, children are allowed. Supervision and Appropriate attire necessary

We've taught children as young as 8! A They're fine as long as they're strong enough to throw!

Yes! Our escape room The Harvest and Axe Throwing Lounge can each accommodate 10! We highly recommend 6 to 8 for an optimal experience!

How elaborate are the rooms? I had cool experiences where an escape room place had multiple rooms in a setting and wanted to see if this was like that too

Hi Lisa! I feel like you might really enjoy our games then! We definitely tried our best to set the theme!

When will the second theme be open? Did the first one and loved it! Eager for more!

Hi! We'll be ready in two weeks!

Hi can we bring children ages 7 and up?

Yes of course. With parents supervision under 18 years old. We have had many families with small children enjoy the room so far.

When we walked in, there wasn't a host or greeter at the front stand. Instead, the bartender YELLED across the restaurant TWICE to get our attention and then yelled at us again for us to "sit anywhere". I wanted to sit outside to enjoy the summer weather, but after seeing the lack of staff, we sat in direct view of the front desk and general path of travel. Even then we had to repeatedly ask for our drinks. Service was slow, disorganized and the staff just walked around without urgency. I'd love to say the food made it better, but that wasn't the case. The smoked rib tips arrived so dry that they were practically beef jerky. They tasted like they had been reheated in a microwave. Our son ordered wings with buffalo sauce and they came out bone dry without the sauce. We alerted a random waitress because ours was nowhere to be found and she took them back to be coated. It literally took 20 minutes to have them back. I mean, what the heck are the kitchen people doing?!! Lastly, they no longer serve potato salad.... I loved their potato salad! Ugh! Safe to say we will not be returning...ever!

There's street parking and different structures you can park in as well. It's also on the second floor of a plaza, pretty easy to find. The inside is designed weird bc the front desk isn't obvious and you have to turn a corner to find it? There was only 1 person working that shift when I arrived. Apparently other people reserved 8pm too but they all were late so my social lane ended up being just me for a while before others joined. Sebastian did a great job of explaining the rules and he was super nice always coming around to check on me and the group of friends I randomly bumped into. He was very attentive and kind and funny! This is a great activity either for date night or a friends night out! I would definitely come come back with friends and utilize the Groupon again!

So this review is going to be a little different than some of the other ones…read more I pulled into a parking lot today where Dragging Axe was set up, to buy a secondhand double stroller from someone on Facebook for my toddler and infant children. I got my stroller, wheeler back to the car, and the seller left. The stroller wasn't fitting in my car. I tried to take off the wheels. I tried the trunk. I tried the backseat. I called my husband seven times, my parents twice each. I stood there in the parking lot googling videos and also trying not to panic because no one was answering. The Internet had said that the stroller would fit into a Corolla, so I had no idea why it wasn't working. No one in my family with our larger cars was picking up their phones or answering their texts. My friends that did respond and offer to help were forty minutes away, with their own toddler children. I couldn't accept that. So I waited and kept futilely fiddling with the stroller. One of the owners must have noticed that I was struggling, because she very kindly came over and asked me if I needed help. I sheepishly admitted that yes, I'm an idiot and could not seem to get the stroller into my car. She was patient and figured out that the double stroller actually folded twice. Then, she even helped me put it on the trunk. I can't even begin to express how thankful I am. I was so flustered, I didn't even catch her name. Seriously, I had been on the verge of tears because I was stranded and had no idea when my family would get back to me. She looked like the angel she was. Can't even begin to express my appreciation. Anyway, I highly recommend them. If anything, they are kind and attentive and the latter is pretty important when you're going to be around a bunch of flying axes. Also, give your business to good people. Thank you again, from a frazzled mother of two under two.

We had a group event here, and after a bit of a slow start, it got really fun. There were three different kinds of throwing axres, as well as a saw blade and a metal measuring tool! My personal favorite was the large two handed axe. Its weight and power made it fun to throw and had a satisfying thunk when it hit. The sawblade was also fun to throw and the metal protractor was different but satisfying. It was a bit freaky, throwing axes right near to everybody else but the cages they had around each target were quite effective in stopping some of the missed throws. It still feels like it's crazy to be doing that kind of thing but nobody was injured. They also have a pretty cool dance floor in a live band started up while we were there. Apparently they have square dancing and line dancing. There are also days when families can come in so kids can get in on the throwing action too. Overall, it was a fun and different activity. There were a couple things that could have used improving, but mostly my experience was excellent. First thing to mention was that this time I came for the Rage Room. I was really excited and have been wanting to try one for a LONG time. We had a great time, so, first I'd like to highlight what went well... THE POSITIVES *Emma was a great instructor. She gave us the low down, rules, made sure we were safe and had tons of fun! *Just like Lake Forest, this is a giant space and has tons of axe throwing lanes, games and a snack bar. *This location even has a mechanical bull. *HUGE dance floor for line dancing. *Fun and upbeat environment. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: *When we first arrived and checked in, we saw another group go ahead of us, despite having a reserved time for 7pm... *We were not told how long the wait would be and felt like we were just waiting around and not knowing what was happening. *Would like a little more variety of items to break...like cups and plates. *Personally for me, the rage room felt very claustrophobic, it was small, hot with no ventilation. *I did not enjoy the spray paint smell in the rage room - cool idea, but not great for breathing in. One other thing we realized is that you can do the room alone or with up to 4 people. We chose to do a group of 4, but next time I'll do it individually. While in the room as a group, you have 15 minutes total, but still have to go 1 by 1 for safety. The cost is the same per person (no deal for a group), so it makes sense to do it 1 person at a time in my opinion. Overall though, I don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying a fun night at Whoop Axe. I think they're doing a fantastic job and provide a great experience. The staff are all friendly and make sure you are instructed on how to stay safe. If you're looking for a unique experience that you'll never forget, this is the place for sure!
