One of my Husband and I's favorite restaurants downtown! Excellent food, delicious drinks, and kind service! The restaurant itself is so fun and vibrant inside. The food comes very quickly here, yet is so fresh. I highly recommend the combo fajitas, but honestly I have loved all the meals I've tried. Although the drink pictured is the dragonfruit margarita, the best one by far is the Banana!

outstanding!! Food was super Fresh, perfectly cooked. Im still thinking about it. Ha As well as the staff, happy, friendly, attentive:) We had Taquitos, shrimp tacos, and a ribeye dish w/enchiladas. Everything was 100%!! -so good- We'll be going back again asap, this place has made on our go to places when we're in town. The ambiance is great as well.

La Bamba Tacos & Tequila - Plymouth, MA Authentic or just loco good? This place is everything. As a vegan who's sampled tacos from Vegas to NYC, I can say--La Bamba is the real deal. The flavors here are so soulful, it feels like an old-school Mexican grandmother is back there whispering spells into the salsa. Portions? Generous. Drinks? Strong. Vibe? Warm and fun. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. And the fact that there's a parking lot--in downtown Plymouth? Instant win. The food is bold and packed with flavor, and they actually care about vegan options. No random lettuce wraps here--just real, thoughtful meals that taste amazing. If you're in town, this should be your first stop. Great service, memorable food, and legit vibes. I'm definitely coming back. Boomsauce Scale: B - basura (trash) BS - basic (come on! Ok we begin with very good vibes. The chips were warm, toasty and home made - off to a good start. The salsa was homemade woohoo. It was the perfect blend of sweetness with a finishing touch of a just enough spicy. I ordered the ribeye steak and shrimp. The steak was marinated by a pro, tender and juicy. The staff was attentive and was filled with initiative. I'll be back

This place has great food and reasonable prices. Chips and salsa are complimentary and made fresh. I had a combo with pork enchilada and ground beef hard shell taco. It comes with refried beans and rice. Parking in the attached lot. They play fun Mexican music. There is a bar, indoor and outdoor seating.

Great experience, sat at the bar ordered a tanqueray martini. I could hell he didn't make them often but a professional can make most anything. It was one of the better martinis I've had in Plymouth. Then guacamole, yummy. Dinner was Birta tacos and a side of rice and beans. All was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely go back

    Rojas Enchilada, $13.99. Excellent.

4 of us arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and there were tables inside, outside, and 4 chairs at the bar available. FOOD: Cheese dip is excellent, perfect consistency, chopped jalapeños gave it a decent heat. Chips are fresh and crunchy. Complimentary salsa has a really nice flavor, one of the best salsas I have had. Guac was disappointing. They make it here, but the consistency was kinda gooey, not creamy like when you just open an avocado up and mash it immediately. It was $10. I would probably get again if they offered it made table side, although I understand that is labor intensive and not something all places are able to do. The spinach enchiladas were tasty, plenty of spinach and mushrooms, and the rice and beans were wonderful accompaniments. The Rojas enchilada was also excellent. SERVICE: Ramon took good care of us. Immediately after we sat down he came over to take our drink order. He was busy with many other tables, but was accessible for when we were ready to order our next course or for drink refills. BAR: Seats look comfy, although we sat in a booth, which was also good size and comfortable to sit at. I got the ultimate margarita, with Herradura anejo, on the rocks, it was excellent. $16.75. It's often challenging to get a margarita with the right amount of alcohol and not overly sweet mixer, but the La Bamba bartender nailed it. The house chardonnay was a generous pour. ATMOSPHERE: Authentic feeling decor, clean inside. Even when busy, it is easy to carry on conversations without having to shout. There is also outdoor seating when weather permits. We parked one street over, but discovered there were a couple of spots available in their front parking lot. Next time I'll probably do lap in front to see if there are any open, before parking on the street nearby or in paid parking.

Our new favorite for Mexican food on the South Shore. Ambiance quaint, clean, cozy and nicely decorated Mexican motif. Big booths. Excellent, friendly and attentive service by Cintia. Ordered the guacamole and Bamba nachos with beef. For our entrees, tacos de Camaron and the Birria (beef stew). For dessert, flan and toffee cake. All perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back and try the other items on the menu.

Food not even close to what is pictured on menu. Not good and very small amounts of actual chicken

Not great. Service was slow, and the food was mediocre at best. There are much better options on the south shore.

Went for dinner on a Thursday night. No one was at the hostess desk, we went upstairs and had to…read moreflag down a server (who walked by us three times) to ask for a table. He did apologize. The restaurant is decorated well, seems clean, and is dark with big windows on two of the walls. Server was okay. He seemed to have a lot of tables, but we were able to get his attention whenever needed. The manager seemed to be floating around the restaurant all night. He checked on us truly as we took our first bite of the first appetizer, then not again. We split the 2 for $50 weeknight special, which was a good deal. The elote dip was okay. It came out luke warm and honestly tasted like a can of creamed corn. We both agreed that warmer and with a little kick/spice would have been better. I can't remember what the second app was, but it was a fried beef and potato appetizer. It was very tasty, but very oily. We were wiping our hands between each bite. The Arroz Chaufa was very tasty and a good size. Unfortunately the plantains that came with it were extremely salty. Cocktails I tried the En Claro and Maldiablo. The En Claro was okay, I expected it to be sweeter than it ended up being. Maldiablo was very tasty and I would drink again. My husband got the sangria that had not been mixed prior to serving, so the first sip was all brandy and otherwise just okay. Overall the food was good but the drink prices seemed steep. $50 for two people to eat was a good price, but we spent just as much in 3 drinks and really only truly enjoyed one of the three.

It takes a lot for me to finally decide to leave a bad review for the experience I had. I have yet…read moreto have the chance to even try this restaurant but I don't think I ever will. I reached out to them months ago to explore using them for the welcome party for my wedding. After dozens of calls, emails, instagram messages AND even going IN-PERSON to speak to someone, their event organizer never responded. We followed up numerous times and not once, did we get a formal follow-up. It look messages on 3 different social media channels for me to finally get an answer. When we did, the organizer ghosted us AGAIN! When I followed up with her (now having her phone number) we set a date to call. She could not figure out how to send me the event details, she did not have very many answers to our questions - we got a ton of, "I need to ask the owner". She promised to give us an update to our questions, and NOTHING. The kicker is that she even ignored my follow up text asking for an update. She ended up texting me accidentally - the text was to her coworker asking them if they can let her inside because she was locked out!! So incredibly unprofessional, they do not seem to care for our business even though we were so excited to potentially have our event there. Would not recommend - try back maybe in a couple years when they can get better customer service and more organized.
