I've commented previously on some opportunities for improvement at this particular Chipotle, so I wanted to single them out for something they've really turned around. The last several times I've been in the store the cleanliness of the dining area has shown marked improvement. The other day I noticed several team members chatting at a table and I took the opportunity to mention how great the store looked. It turned out one of the people at the table was the team director (I assume that's akin to a district manager in other businesses). One guy preparing orders was himself eating, so customers are eating both the food they ordered and the food that fell out of this grunger's mouth. Visited yesterday. Very unfortunate to see how dirty the store was and had such a poor interaction with the employees there. I understand food and retail service can be difficult, but being rude to customers just isn't it. Out of multiple items I wanted. Waited for rice to finish, and when it was ready, no team member acknowledged I had been waiting and took about 5 people before they remembered I was waiting. When I get to the counter I'm greeted with a "what do you want" with a fat attitude from the girl working the line. Out of steak, out of sauces and I'm out of patience. People work hard for their money and time and even if it is something that is (supposed to be) as simple as chipotle left me with a sad experience, bad food, and a very sad long time customer. The service was AWFUL. I paid for a cup and filled it up with lemonade and the LADY yelled at me and made me pour it out TWICE. It was so bad i couldn't even fill up my cup with ice. Today's experience was far from stellar. Every time a customer walks in the door, everyone on the front line has to acknowledge them the moment they walk in the door and say "Welcome to Chipotle." That's now taking the attention away from the customer that's actively going down the line telling the worker what they want in their order. They're constantly looking up to see if anyone is entering the building so they can acknowledge them. I had to keep waiting for the girl to make eye contact in order to get the next item on my bowl. I get greeting the customer when they get to the front of the line but having 5 employees greet me when I walk in the door is overkill. Secondly, they were out of Barbacoa and fajita veggies which is annoying. Lastly, I asked for a side of vinaigrette, I always ask for this and have never been turned down. My response was simply, "oh, I've always gotten it before, is this new?" The worker for some reason went on the defensive and basically said if I wanted to talk to the manager she's right there. The manager hopped in, without being asked for, and was getting defensive as well. I was not causing a scene or raising my voice this whole time and my questioning it was merely out of surprise. I had to tell the manager twice I wasn't complaining I was just surprised. That's all. Terrible experience, do better Plymouth Chipotle. I think I'll be going to Raynham from now on. This is the only yelp review I have ever left, was absolutely appalled at their managers attitude, had a buddy ask for more chicken and she screams "NO NO NO" from the register even though he mentioned he wouldn't mind paying for it, then another one of our friends orders and she gives him max 5 pieces of chicken and when he asks for a water cup, decides to yell over the entire restaurant "that better not be lemonade or I'm gonna pour it out myself!" When my friend asked for a manager and said how she was acting was disrespectful, she said she was the manager, and to have a "nice day" after trying her best to embarrass my friends. Stopped in on a whim while running errands and was pleasantly surprised by service and attentiveness paid by staff while preparing my meal. Gentleman greeted me and asked me how my day was going while he cheerily stepped me through the burrito bowl process. Cashier was a lovely woman who smiled and chatted a bit. She made me feel most welcome. As I was leaving another staff member called out to me and told me to enjoy my day! Everyone was so friendly. Food was delicious. Restaurant was clean. After this happening a second time, I realize that this is most likely not just an oversight, so I go inside and politely ask for the guac I paid an extra $2.95 for. This girl who I believe may be the supervisor says with a very hostile attitude, we have no guac, you can get a refund from corporate. Then her coworker says they have guac and that she should give it to me since I paid for it. Then she snaps at him, yelling at him to not tell customers that they have guac when she just told me they don't. Then she gives it to me with an attitude. This is the thanks I get for tipping ahead. God forbid I ask for something I paid for. Never going to this location again or at least as long as she works there. My friend and I both placed mobile orders for 12:50 on Friday (12/27), when we arrived to the location I had my brother go in and get our orders for us because we were both feeling ill. The two ladies were giving him a hard time and being extremely disrespectful. They said we needed order confirmations, which we did provide him, then stating the people who ordered needed to come in. Which I completely understand but the way him and I were being spoken to by these two middle aged women employees was completely unacceptable and poor service to their customers. I love Chipotle's offerings, and had frequented the Hingham franchise often. I live in Kingston so I have gone to the Plymouth location twice since it has been open. Both times ingredients were not available (grilled peppers and onions), the dining room was unkept and the kitchen was strewn with stuff. I love the food in Hingham I just wish Plymouth was up to the same standard. For those who have only tried the Plymouth location, the impression is probably negative for Chipotle in general. I would give this Chipotle 0 stars if possible. I have been multiple times and the last two times they said they don't have chips. The first time they said the fryer was broken, over a month later they again said they did not have any chips that day.
