    California omelette

Small restaurant that has an outdoor patio In warmer months. We waited about 10-15 min for a table, not too bad. They seemed low on servers but the couple that were working were doing a great job- Working quickly without losing their kindness. It can be such a difficult and thankless job. Once we were seated our coffees and juice came quick. Food overall did not take as long as we feared. The home fries were a bit overcooked and under seasoned. I enjoyed the rest of the huevos rancheros. The hashbrowns were also lacking flavor but omelette was good. I'd definitely give this place another shot if I lived nearby! They have lunch and dinner and are right on water st with water views, nice spot!

The service here was friendly and the food was pretty good! I wished all the ingredients of my dish were mixed in instead of on top, since that made it pretty hard to eat. I also thought the breakfast potatoes needed some seasoning. On the other hand, the iced coffee was super yummy and I appreciated that they had oat milk available! Overall, the flavors were good and the ambiance was super cute. Next time, I want to try some of the other house specials because they sound incredible. Definitely get here early if you're planning on it, as they get full fast and the kitchen is pretty small. Give them a try!

Awesome cafe serving hot coffee and awesome breakfast with gorgeous view of the bay. Their Lobster Eggs Benedict was loaded generously with chunks of sweet lobster! Hubby said his French Toast was good too but wished he had ordered a Lobster Benedict too after seeing the delight on my face and my refusal to have a conversation with him during breakfast - too busy enjoying my breakfast - I did share sine with him - a bite, LOL!

I visited this place once a little over a year ago with a couple of friends, the food was alright but nothing to get excited over. It looks like pretty much every other restaurant in the area, and includes an outdoor seating area as an addition to the indoor one. The service was on the slower side, it took them about 20 minutes to take our food order after getting drinks and an additional hour to receive our food-- which is half the reason why I haven't returned. The second reason would be that this restaurant was seized for tax evasion a month ago, and I have not seen it open since. They are still advertising being open, which is odd to me, since the restaurant has a huge sign in the window saying it's closed and it's been seized.

I wasn't sure what to expect because the reviews were so varied but my breakfast was delicious and the service was friendly and impeccable. I got the breakfast tacos. The portion was extremely generous and came with tomato salsa and fruit salad. There seemed to be at least three eggs, with cheese and a corn salsa. I would highly recommend Cafe Nicole.

Service was quick. Location was great. Lobster roll was hearty and good. Could have had a thicker roll and fries could have been crispier or more seasoned but, all in all everyone's food was satisfactory. The single bathroom was rough and entrance couldn't be redone and cleaned but, to be expected in an older town.

    Also what the heck.

Extremely poor service... Was a beautiful day and requested to sit outside and they refused to seat us outside while people were eating outside and then proceeded to seat everyone else outside after us. Service was also extremely slow they kept saying they'd come take our order time and time again leaving us waiting for 20 minutes with just our waters and our fingers up our butts. 10/10 would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and I'm local and would've loved to come here all the time to sit by the water and enjoy breakfast. The waitress ended up giving us a table outside after asking again when we saw multiple tables, but she had us bring all our plates and silverware out and proceeded to attack us with harsh sarcasm saying things like "I know you guys reallllly wanted to sit outside"

Good location on the harbor with Good prices insures there's always a crowd. Service was ambivalent but food, when it finally came out, was pretty good. We stuck with basics; French toast (not the lemon ricotta, which not only looked delicious at another table but looked like it would feed a small family) and poached eggs (not Benedict). French toast was tasty and the poached eggs were perfect, coffee was not bad either. The place is a bit touristy and, as I keep saying, service is slow and somewhat ambivalent, maybe they could teach the staff to smile??

Sitting in the heart of downtown, Plymouth on the waterfront, Carmen's Cafè Nicole offers delicious breakfast and lunch items with a breathtaking view, exquisite service, and an all-around energetic environment. I met my sister and her best friend there with my eight month old son, husband, and puppy. My sister put in a reservation and was able to get an outdoor table within a half hour. It was a busy, Sunday around peak brunch time, and we were still able to be helped almost right away. There was not a seat in the house that was empty. This was my first time ever here, although I grew up in Plymouth. I was aware of it, as it is saturated amongst gift shops and other touristy locations. I was so impressed by the warm welcome, the excellent service, and the fact that they catered to my son and my puppy so well. In fact one of the owners came over and asked what my puppy would like to eat, I told her she actually loves fruit. Less than a minute, a fruit bowl came over and she placed it right next to my puppy's water bowl that was brought over right away. It's not often that you find pet friendly places in Plymouth, so I was so happy. We don't go out to eat much when I'm home and have the puppy because of that reason, so it was a treat for the whole family. I chose a traditional two egg breakfast and it was delicious. The portions are larger and shareable, the prices are fair especially for how much food you get, the service is excellent, and the ambience is great. I already can't wait to return with my family.

Good for lunch but breakfast isn't the best. It is small so we had to wait 10 mins for a table since 3 were dirty and not cleaned off. Start lunch serving at 1pm, so we got breakfast. My sandwich was burnt. The bagel was black on the other side! The eggs and ham had some char on it too. Overall it was food. I recommend you wait for their lunch. It's much better. Or go down the street to water street cafe!!

I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

Bottom line... it doesn't get much better than Dillon's Local…read more My only gripe is that it's a little small, so if your timing isn't right, you might be waiting for a table -- but honestly, that's part of the charm. It has that cozy hometown pub feel: sports on, music playing, and a great local vibe. The staff treats you like you've been coming in for years, making you feel like a regular right away -- and that's definitely a good thing. Homemade comfort food that hits on every level, a delicious menu from top to bottom, and a drink menu that complements it perfectly. And by the way... the Guinness pours well!

Bartender handled the whole joint on a Saturday lunch. -- Patty Melt: Nice straddling between traditional and innovative.
