This was our first stop for lunch after landing from the airport on recommendation from our rental car driver. It was pretty busy when we came, but then that guaranteed that food was hot and fresh. My food was mostly great but both the rice +beans and roasted pork had a bit too much salt. I would come back and try the picadillo with white rice instead.

The Cafe con leche was perfect, my Cuban sandwich was great but my Ropa Viejo con arroz was just ok. The staff were friendly, the food had generous portion sizes, and there was plenty of parking around the building and plenty of inside seating. I enjoyed my lunch visit and will be back when in this downtown area off Westshore in Tampa.

My daughter thought best Cuban ever and she may be right. Delicious. . We came a day earlier and got a breakfast Cuban. I loved that as well. We flew back home and reheated it in air fryer. Still great.

I had a little lunchtime visit before a flight on a recommendation. The ladies at the counter were extremely nice and very accommodating bang for the buck. You can't beat it. It's cafeteria style, but the food was amazing.

Hole in a wall cuban food served school lunch style.... Loved this place, food was beyond amazing, quick service and friendly staff... You walk in and see the sandwich maker you can order wich from her or grab ur tray, free piece of bread and start ur line like if you where getting school lunch... then you look to find a spot to sit just like in school lol... food was fresh wonderful and great. I would recommend for people to try it

We came by for breakfast for a quick breakfast. We ordered at the counter cafe con leche (sm $2.75/lg $3.25) and cuban cheese toast (3$) and breakfast sandwich ($5.25). They brought our coffee and a few minutes later our breakfast. I like the cut the toast long ways for dipping in my coffee. The sandwich and toast were both very good. The dining room was clean and along with the bathrooms. We will come back to try lunch.

It's location is within walking distance so it's frequented by co-workers quite often. I've eaten her only 3-4 times within a two-year span and have to say, the food is good but it's quite lackluster. Maybe I just don't know Cuban food, and it is definitely authentic Cuban food; but I always hope for a little more spice. The restaurant overall is small and there isn't much parking on site. But they do keep the serving area and the dining room clean. Most recently I tried the barbecue pulled pork sandwich. The pork was tender and juicy, layered on Cuban bread with cheese. I never had pulled pork with cheese but it was good. It was the barbecue sauce was oh so subtle so you really just got a hint of it so's not to overpower the flavorful meat. In fact, I had to remove the bread to be sure there was barbecue sauce on it!@ And to their credit the plantains are awesome! If I know someone's going down to La Bamba, I'll ask whomever to bring me back an order. We also pop over for breakfast run every once in awhile. I'll have the sausage, egg & cheese sandwich and it is huge! Satisfies that breakfast craving and you still have have of the sandwich left over for lunch.

I've only had Argentinian-style milanesa before, and I can easily say I liked the Teresita style better. The marinara sauce on the milanesa brings enough acidity to cut through the grease from the fried meat -- the meat is thin and crispy, but not at all dry. The fries and yellow rice make the meal an absolute steal based on the amount of food you get. My friend had the fried fish, which looked delicious -- excited to try it myself next time. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

We tried a few things: -Churro: okay but definitely stale, wish it had been fresher. This was a bit disappointing. -Chicken and rice: chicken was not very flavorful. Parts were cooked perfect and some of it was a little dry. Definitely not great... The rice was fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned -Salmon and fries: this was really good, flavorful and cooked great. We just wish it was a little bigger for the cost. -Vanilla Flan: very good, just a bit small. -Tres Leche: stole the show! Fabulous! I would come back just for this! The texture was perfect and the flavor was flawless! It was sweet but not too sweet. Great dessert! Definitely check your food before leaving though as they did forget part of the meal. Not a big deal as the guy up front was super apologetic and friendly. That dude was great! They need more just like him. Also, not the cleanest, floors needed swept and mopped. (That definitely would have helped the experience) Overall, it was a good/okay experience, just not great.

It was citrusy and flavorful, cooked perfectly. The mango upside down cake was really good (could have used a little more ice cream), however the flavor was great! The restaurant is HUGE (does not look it from the outside). Everything was clean and so beautifully decorated. Wow!!! This is DEFINITELY someplace I highly recommend trying at least once. Sadly, it turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had. The restaurant is beautiful, full of history and stunning décor, and we were seated almost immediately. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of the visit. Our menus were dropped on the table without a greeting, and for the next 25 minutes not a single server acknowledged us, even though we watched staff walk by repeatedly. We were also seated in full view of the men's restroom, with the constant sound of the door opening and toilets flushing. After being ignored for 25 minutes, I told my husband, "I guess no one is coming," and asked my nephew and grandsons if they wanted to leave. They all said yes, so we walked out disappointed, hungry, and let down. Such a beautiful, historic place deserves service that matches its reputation.

There's plenty of seating throughout without it feeling crowded or like you're sitting on top of the table next to you. Their brunch prix menu is awesome - highly, highly recommend going for brunch and trying this menu because not only are the food options on there fantastic, but it's a great value. We all ordered different items so we could share and try a little bit of everything, and there wasn't a single bad thing on the menu, the patatas bravas, potato tortilla, and croquetas were all really yummy starters and you can't go wrong with any of them. The bulla burger, bulla Benedict, and braised pork hash were also all really great - I love breakfast foods, so the Benedict was my favorite personally and the crispy chorizo bits were really good. The desserts were my least favorite probably - the churros were good, they're basic churros. The dessert empanadas I didn't care for too much, I think the truffle honey was too much for me and it was hard to taste the quince or cream cheese. This time around we got the Huevos Bulla, which was relatively hearty with the salty ham and gooey egg, with the potato chips providing a lot of crunchy texture to the dish. We also got the Grilled Steak, which was a new dish for me to try. This is probably going to be one of my favorite dishes from now on. The steak was tender and the truffle foam was to die for (even after the meat was gone i was eating that sauce up, no leftovers). Another new try for me was the seasonal Lamb Cannelloni. The lamb was gamey and the wrapping was soft. The sauce it came with definitely helped enhance the flavor; without the sauce it was just okay. I order the Kalimotxo drink, which, with the cola and lemon, helped brighten up the wine-forward drink.
