Our visit to Vitto's began with a nice warm welcoming from the person who would also be our server. She was pleasant and really made the experience a great one. The ambiance was very pleasant, with chandelier lighting. The place was spotlessly clean. While the music was easy listening, it did not really match an Itlalian restaurant, but I won't criticize them on that. For Dinner we ordered a Tortillini Alfredo and a Chicken Parmigiano. Both were freshly prepared and executed perfectly. I honestly intended on eating only half of my Chicken Parmigiano, but it was so good I could not stop myself from eating it. The rolls served with it were pretty amazing as well! My only concern is that on a Saturday night at 7:30 we were one of only 4 tables in the place. Seriously, food this good is something everyone should experience, so I am hoping my fellow local Yelpers will come out and give this place some well-earned business! read more

My cousin and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a sunday afternoon because we just wanted some italian food. From the outside the restaurant doesn't look very special but as soon as you walk in it is beautiful. The restaurant is newly renovated so you can have events and functions even weddings. Or if you just want to come for dinner or lunch it's also a great place. I didn't come here before the new owners took over. I was very impressed with the food here. First and foremost, the salad and the garlic rolls are absolutely delicious!! The house salad dressing was perfection. I got the fettuccine alfredo with meat sauce, and my cousin got chicken fettuccine alfredo, and both were so good!! The best part of our lunch was our server. She was so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We asked her so many questions, and she answered them flawlessly. It's just a great attitude she made our lunch date!! To everyone. At this? Restaurant. Great job!! I can't wait to come back and I think I'm going to celebrate my birthday here in a couple of weeks because it was exceptional! read more

If we were ever in the area and craved Italian food, we would stop by and grabbed a plate to eat, but that has changed. The last time we went to go have lunch here, the service was awful but their food is decent. I do not recommend their fettucine alfredo as the sauce has became water. What never changed was their garlic knots. These have stayed consistent throughout the years and it is greatly appreciated it. When we last went, they were doing some reconstruction so only a certain side of the restaurant was opened. The environment was your typical Italian décor, nothing too fancy. read more

Tried this place on 2 occasions before doing review. Both times I had the blackened grilled chicken fettuccine Alfredo. First try, it was absolutely amazing. Chicken was seasoned to the high heavens and grilled to utter perfection. I can almost dare say it was the best chicken Alfredo I've ever had. Yes, the chicken was THAT good. Stopped by for late lunch 1st time trying under new owners. Hot garlic rolls came to the table dipping sauce with an up charge. I tried the minestrone soup, was disappointing the broth had no flavor with only a few pieces of bow tie pasta. We shared the meatball sandwich which was very good sliced meatballs with a little pasta sauce and melted mozzarella. The flavors were spot on and hit the spot for my meatball craving. This is the worst establishment, when it comes to professionalism. It's really sad because they have really good food, but horrible customer service. I went today at 5:15pm to place an order for takeout and the door was locked, but there's a sign that's shows they're open. I call and someone answers and states "we are open, but our cooks went to the gas station to get coffee and should be back soon - you can wait on the inside or in your car." I met her know the doors are locked and I will take my business elsewhere. read more

We just tried this restaurant for the first time and we loved it! We tried the blackened chicken with Alfredo and eggplant parmigiana both delicious and portions were big enough for leftovers. The service was great both the hostess and server were very friendly and attentive. We were looking for a place to eat before attending a play in Garland and came across this place. We were a little taken back because when we walked in there was one customer at 5:30 on a Saturday nigh, we almost left, but we are so glad we didn't. The waitress was very friendly, she took our drink order and said hot bread would be out soon. OMG the bread was AMAZING!!!! We had 6 people in our party and the waitress made sure to bring out as much bread that we wanted. The house dressing salad dressing was very good. Our party ordered Lasagna, Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and Stromboli. Portion sizes are big you could share them. Food was amazing. I highly recommend Vitto's. read more

Tried Vittos for first time today. Took the whole family. Everyone ordered something different so I feel like we tasted the whole menu. Everything was fresh and hot. Personally I had the white pizza and it was really tasty. Their portions are large too. Everyone took home leftovers. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Though we did have to ask for things more than once and we were her only table. Was a little surprised that we were actually the only people there. This place's name is somewhat not accurate. The food was equal to if not better than Siciliano's Taste of Italy. My family knew the Sicilianos and ate there often. My daughters had receptions there so when one of them noticed the name and ownership change, we all had to give it a try. The recent reviews are ditto for us also. Arrived around 12:30pm, there was only 1 other table occupied besides ours. Took a long time for them to bring out the table bread. Even longer for the food. Shrimp pasta came out still raw. A few of us were unable eat most of our food because of how bad the quality was. Bit into what felt like a rock when eating the baked ziti. The chicken Parmesan was also bad, the chicken texture was hard and had chunks in it. Very yucky place. But the bathroom was nice at least. read more

My food was delayed about an hour, but I understand it was a game night. Without me calling anyone or complaining Vittos decided to gift me their garlic bread as well as a salad. All of which I can whole heartedly (and bellyful) were quite frankly amazing ! The JUMBO Calzone reminded me of my favorite place in Lubbock TX I would go to weekly in college; irregardless it's safe to say I will be dining in very soon. This place truly impressed me. Love this place. Service was great. Food was fabulous. The dressing on the salad did not have too much vinegar to drown out the taste of the herbs in the dressing. Not the same as Taste of Italy. Rolls are not free anymore with the Soup and Salad. Salad was different (no green olives) and the minestrone did not have flavor and was room temperature. 2 tables in the whole time we were there. Service was ok at best. We will not be back! read more

Apparently the cook quit during his shift, but they did not tell us this until making us wait for close to an hour and serving us the food that his "replacements" made. Needless to say the food was very disappointing, especially after the wait. The only reason I almost didn't rate it 1 star is that the waitresses were very polite after telling us why we had waited for an hour, and the garlic knots were absolutely bomb. I was so happy to find that Vittos had some of the same menu as Sicilianos A Taste of Italy had. Their salads are fresh and crisp and they have the same house dressing and my favorite pasta dish -tortellini combination. It's really delicious. We will be going back. read more

Takeout order was delayed 15 minutes but the dining room was empty other than one table. Perhaps they were short handed. It wasn't really a problem since I just waited for them to text when the order was ready but it did seem comical. Pizza was good - plenty of toppings and cheese. Dessert was a joke - $6.95 for a tiny sliver of bland cheesecake or a slightly larger (but still small) slice of dry chocolate cake. Definitely won't buy desserts here again. I only interacted with one employee but she was very polite and helpful. Overall, not great and not awful. 2.5 if half stars were an option. read more

Before Vito's Italian Grill took, over what used to be Siciliano's Taste of Italy the food and service was fantastic. This place was known as the place to go to for the best Garlic Rolls in the city. Now... Don't waste your time. Vito's promised to keep the traditional recipes and service that Siciliano's had they haven't kept their promise. What used to be cherry tomatoes is now big large tomatoes, the rolls taste different, when you go there to dine in, they don't bring you another basket of rolls once they are gone. They will charge you! They aren't that good to pay for! One of the few dishes on their original menu I helped come up with they have ruined it! Grilled Chicken Bruschetta they don't chop up the onions, they don't use cherry tomatoes. I will be shocked if this place can survive after all of their renovations. I went there for lunch since I have never dined in since it was taken over... That was a waste and pretty big disappointment. When it was Siciliano's Taste of Italy that place would be bouncing during lunch hour, Vito's will be lucky if they have one table seated in their restaurant. read more
