The food never disappoints. Since we don't eat meat on Good Friday, we ordered some fried shrimp, and some shrimp franchise, and a half tray of eggplant Parmesan. I did order a couple of rice bowls, but somehow they were not included, and I don't think I was charged for them so since they would've been for next week, I'm not going to worry about it.. We definitely have enough food for leftovers. I particularly love the eggplant Parmesan because it is thin and cheesy and delicious. We both both enjoyed the crispy fried shrimp, which was everything fried shrimp should be, crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside. The shrimp franchise was a nice compliment With butter and wine taste. Honestly, this is a wonderful dinner to take home. We always get enough food for extra because leftovers are also . Frank is always wonderful with getting the orders. The staff are always polite and professional. We also got some grandma's cookies, that if you're Italian, you know the little cookies with the white icing and the sprinkles. My grandmother used to make them so I really enjoyed them. We have ordered from them before, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, and some other food. Also, if you get the chance, try their sausage and peppers because the sausage is absolutely delicious once again another wonderful meal. I love cooking, but I also love the chance to just sit back, eat delicious food and not touch a frying pan or baking dish. By the way, I could make eggplant Parmesan if I want to, but couldn't read the shrimp dishes so good so my thought is why due to work and buy all those little ingredients that make it special when I can go to Best Of Everything if you never have you do have to try them. The only downside is that the parking is sometimes not too good in small town Ridgewood. read more

The service was very friendly and accommodating. The store itself could you a little sprucing. We wiped crumbs off our table as we sat down. This place just keeps getting better and better. I work at a hospital nearby and pre-Covid, the building ALWAYS ordered their pizzas and orzo salads for certain meetings. We'd order here at least twice a month and when there's leftover, you best believe people are fighting for them Their pizza isn't the typical pie..it comes in really thin slices with about 6-8 pieces in each box. They're small and thin and full of flavor and you'd be dumb to not try it! My go to is their spinach and ricotta pie and their Buffalo chicken pie is absolute bomb. Since we always order pizza, we decided to try their sandwich which was just as good! I got a hot pastrami sandwich with Swiss and honey mustard with a side of their orzo salad....orgasmic. There was a generous amount of pastrami and if I wasn't eating this at work, I would've shoved that entire thing in my mouth in a very unprofessional and unlady like fashion. The orzo salad mixed in pesto is a MUST whenever I order from here. Everything about this deli is so so so good and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for good, fresh food. Did I also mention their cookie platter is just as good?? The assortment of chocolate chip, sugar, oatmeal raisin cooking is fresh and you can't just stop eating at one. This place can be really good, or really bad. Inconsistency is the only thing they are the best at. Also, the mozzarella sticks here are gross, they are just hacked off mozzarella fried in a pan with light crumbs and served with red water (supposed to be marinara). I can't really wrap my head around all these glowing reviews - honestly today I tasted two of the worst sandwiches I've had in a really long time. Meatball parm was on a hard baguette style roll which made it nearly impossible to eat without the meatballs flying out the sides. The meatballs themselves were pretty flavorless and mushy. In that same vein, rice balls were also soggy and flavorless and the joke of a marinara sauce was so thin and watery it wouldn't stick to anything you put it on. Chicken parm was dry and bland with a layer of that same tomato water marinara. Come on, my fellow Ridgewood people, this place is carrying far too many stars for no reason. Grosso's La Strada in Midland Park is just an enormous step up in quality and is literally a five minute drive away from this place. Demand better! read more

This is a lovely deli/sandwich shop located right in the heart of Oak St. in Ridgewood, NJ. It has everything you could want at a shop like this. The staff is very friendly, and is willing to make off-menu foods as long as they have the ingredients. They have plenty of seating inside as well. If I could give them zero stars, I would. We ordered 2 pizzas, neither was edible. The crusts were as thin as an extremely thin cracker but were so flabby that you couldn't pick the slice up. They looked horrible. I have eaten pizza all over NJ and NY as well in Italy. I have never seen such a horrible thing. I can't even call it pizza, I don't know what it was!!!! My father passed suddenly 2 days after Christmas and The best of everything in ridgewood was sent to us by a family friend and we are normally pretty picky and everyone thought the food was so fantastic we ordered not only for New Year's Eve (on 18 hours notice and they even made one of their specialty items quickly for my mom!) but also for my fathers small repast today. Each time they have been attentive, helpful In selections, accommodating for delivery times, provided chaffing dishes at no extra charge (we have to bring them back but still so much easier) and have been extremely nice to a family that was entirely scattered during a time of need. Their penne vodka, eggplant rollatini & sausage and peppers were all hits all week long. Their prices have also been super reasonable to feed the crew and it was truly a pleasure to be treated so well by them when we had never done business with them before. Best of Everything I would say that the name of the place says it all. But that's not enough. My husband and I have been going there for lunch for a long time, except during the pandemic of 2020. We always love the sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. I highly recommend the Italian subs and their pasta salads. This year ordered our Christmas food from them. We ordered a eggplant Parmesan and chicken marsala and rice balls. The eggplant was cut thin, not bitter, cheesy and saucy. It tasted a lot like my Nana's (grandmother's) which is a huge compliment.This is one of my favorite foods and it was one of the best I ever ordered. Then Chicken Marsala with the wine and mushrooms was tender, and flavorful with a good amount of mushrooms. The rice balls are crunchy on the outside and cheesy inside with yummy marinara on the side. Christmas dinner I did not have to cook was a success. Thank you Best of Everything. The manager Frank and other staff are always friendly and accommodating. It's competitively priced there but you cannot beat the quality or service, even during the busy holiday season. It has an Italian deli feel to the place but their food is like someone's grandmother made it. This means I cannot forget about the grandma's cookies they sell. They are a delicious Italian Ricotta cookie pretty and just sweet enough just like my Italian American grandmothers made. We had our thanksgiving catered by them. It was the best thanksgiving dinner we have had in a long time. It had the penne vodka and the eggplant rollatini, so our Italian relatives were happy. The Turkey with the sausage stuffing was delicious. The sweet and mashed potatoes just the way we like it.
