Since I have been going to him I have received compliments from friends and even strangers (on the street and in restaurants!) on my cut and color. Terrific! My daughters and I all get our hair done here and now that I've read the reviews about the facial care I think I might do that as well. They're always friendly and when they switched over I had a gift card from the place it was before (Serenity) and they still let me use even after it expired. That's just good customer service. They were able to keep Jessica who cuts our hair but when she wasn't available we got a gentleman who was also great. The front desk ladies always treat us like gold so my girls really feel comfortable there and one of them is on 4 so that is saying something! We will be back frequently. read more

The staff was extremely friendly and I felt well-taken care of. The customer service was very good. So good, in fact, I debated not reviewing at all. But at the end of the day, it's a salon and a salon should be doing great hair. I asked to have a subtle red/copper highlight and walked out blonde, blonde, blonde. I was a hairstylist for ten years, I know they left bleach on my hair too long because they were doing other clients in-between. I walked in with almost entirely virgin strawberry-blond hair, wanting to leave a coppery redhead and left blonder than I entered. The "bayalage" was poorly done, I had some obvious lines where it was not well-blended as well as an unfortunate spot on the very front by my bangs. The price was fair so I didn't return and complain but I also wasn't confident enough they would do a good job fixing it and didn't want to end up with a worse dye job. Also, I asked for "subtle" and natural and it was very much not natural-looking. The stylist was a senior stylist, plenty of experience, with a less-than-modern esthetic. I don't think the salon is good for the younger crowd. It's better-suited for classic, traditional or senior styles. read more

The first time I went there, I had a great experience. There was a Brazilian lady who colored my hair perfect match to my natural hair color and everyone was super friendly. I went back Friday to touch up my roots and I hate it. The lady that was there the first time was bo longer there so a young lady name Christina said she could do it. My first and only question was, does the salon keep the hair color number used on the computer system. I told her please make sure it is not a bronze color and has no tedfish tones, I just want it plain brown to match what the other stylist did. She said yes dont worry I can get it and will do it. Now I have exactly what I did not want. On top of it, when I asked if it was a different brand because it was burning my skin, h er r reply was no, but you are about the 7th person to say that. Wouldnt you think they change it or look into it if that's the case. When o told her it was not the color she said, yes it is, and to keep it a few days to see if I like it. Now unfortunately I have to look for a new place. My first visit would get 5 stars, this one I gave it 3 because the place is clean and for the most part the rest of the staff looks very friendly and professional. read more

I have very stubborn underarm hair that grows in many directions and have never gotten a decent waxing job from anyone (they usually have to pluck and pluck and pluck, which is painful and not really the point of getting waxed) so I was looking for a place that could "handle" my situation. I hate to write a bad review because I know it can hurt a small business but I really had a bad experience. I paid over $300 for a hair coloring service to have more blonde in my hair. My hair turned out orange and looked like I did it myself. After calling and feeling embarrassed for having to complain the salon took me back to correct the color. The stylist finally admitted it came out orange and not blonde. After she re bleached my hair it completely damaged it. I just had to cut 5 inches off and have had lots of trouble with my hair since. It has never been damaged like this before. So I paid well over $300, sat in the salon for over 6 hours and think I need to chop it all off to get healthy hair again. They really should have refunded me but I'm sure that's the last thing the salon owner wanted to do. read more

I went for a bikini wax here ror the first time earlier this week and was thoroughly impressed with the salon. The owner is both friendly and professional. She took the time to introduce herself to me and ask me about myself but she displayed a professionals attention to detail and customer satisfaction regarding my wax. The salon was very clean. If you call and the person answering the phone says they're booked but that you can leave your number in case something opens up, definitely leave your number. The salon owner goes out of her way to review appointment requests and might be able to squeeze you in. Definitely would recommend la belle vie for future bikini waxes. read more

I've gotten everything from hair color to the natural keratin treatment and I've always been very happy. I also go to get my hair blown out or styled for special occasions. Also, you can't get a better brazilian bikini wax anywhere. Nonna is fantastic. She has done facials for me when I looked a mess with breakouts prior to coming in and looked fabulous the next day! No it's not a miracle but my breakout actually stopped progressing after my facial and my face looked much smoother and my skin had that healthy glow.
