I brought a dress here to get hemmed. I needed the dress done in a week and was actually nervous it wouldn't get done in time. The seamstress was also going on vacation in a week and had her hands full. La' Ber came through and hemmed my dress faster than the estimated date. I dropped it off on a Friday, requested for a Thursday pick up, and it was done by Tuesday! She was so fast and did an amazing job. Literally saved my life! I will be taking any and all alterations here from now on.

I got married in Nov 2024 and didn't have my dress until late September to start tailoring. Kiymet was very kind in consulting with me prior to the dresses arrival, and coordinating with me when it arrived to have it ready in time to go to my destination wedding on Vancouver Island. She did an absolutely beautiful job tailoring the dress so it fit like a glove. Thank you!

I can't begin to explain the absolute MAGIC this place is. I came in last month to get my wedding dress altered and man, did they deliver!! They completely transformed my wedding dress and literally molded it to fit my body perfectly. They were so patient, meticulous and kind throughout the entire process. I ended up making so many changes to the dress that it looked completely different from start to finish. I absolutely LOVE it!! What a joy it was so work with them!!

La'ber was amazing! I had ordered a dress on Etsy but it was huge for my tiny 1 year old. They were able to take it in same day all after I went to three other tailoring shops prior who told me it's impossible and would take weeks. The dress was tailored right in time for my daughters 1st birthday. Thanks again!

20 minutes to 7pm, came to pickup my laundry and place is closed, yet the hours that are on the door reflect closing time 7pm.

The fabric is a very delicate lace and Kiymet did such a great job it looks as if it was never altered.

They have a bill exchanger which is awesome (sometimes i come here just to get quarters for parking bc most store owners make a big deal when u ask for change and curve you for no reason). I'm here on a rainy saturday night so it's empty.. just me and one other lady. Can't say much about how busy it gets during earlier times of the day, but i can say that i'm very pleased with the cleanliness of the place. The machines look rather new. You have 3 choices: small load washer for $2.25, a medium washer for $3.50 (if you want to add extras like xtra wash or rinse, or want to use hot or warm water as opposed to cold, it's a 25c or 50c upcharge), or a large load for $4.25 and it is HUGE you could probably fit 5 loads and a comforter or something in there. I like the convenience of having this laundromat right down the road from my apt. Quail Heights has a laundromat inside but I'm not happy with how my clothes come out of the wash so I decided to give this place a try & now i have a new go-to laundry spot!

Their machines are top notch, Heubsch brand with reasonable prices- $2 for a small load, $3.50 for a medium and $4.50 for a large load. Dryer time is 7 min per quarter. They sell detergent, bleach, and softener at reasonably high prices, as can be expected for any laundromat. If you forget your detergents, there's a Family Dollar nearby where you can buy for much cheaper. I had a suit dry cleaned through their services recently. They ship the suits off to a site in southern Bergen County, but since I had my order in during the daytime, I had it the next day. This is faster than most same-day places! Overall I would highly recommend Grace's laundromat. Especially since most of the other ones in the area look pretty grimy and not well maintained. Great hours, great staff, clean place, and if you come early, there's a bagel store next door so you can grab breakfast while you wait. Great laundromat!

I come here for convenience as it is the closest laundromat to me however there were many moments…read morethat it felt like it was time to find a new place. The shorter lady on the staff who seems to be the manager tends to close sooner than the closing time states and when I went to pick up my clothes from the dryer well before closing time she screamed at me from outside telling me she was waiting for me so she could lock up. I reminded her what time they stated they closed and she continued to give me an attitude. On a different day, back when the mask rules were uplifted she yelled at me to put a mask on, which is fine - I get it, Covid, BUT if you looked around so many other people (non-asian) weren't wearing a mask, and me (asian-american) felt singled out and this occurred 3+ times. Another thing that is lacking here is professionalism. I came back after 30 mins to move my clothes from the washer to the dryer and someone on the staff yelled at me saying "You can't do that!!" and when I looked at her confused, she then asked if it were my clothes and I said yes. I give her credit for apologizing after and when she explained that she thought I was removing someone else's clothes - but instead of assuming she should've asked normally vs. screaming at me out of context. Lastly, the people that come here are more disrespectful than any other laundromat I've been to. You put a laundry basket, bag, etc. in the cart and the unspoken word is that cart is yours. Why'd I come back to my hamper THROWN on the floor??? To people removing my clothes out of washers? I put timers when I wait for my clothes so it means they couldn't wait more than 1 minute before removing my things from the washer. It also gets way too busy here and people bring their entire family. Better off finding somewhere else.

There is a gentleman and I think his wife and then another older woman who does the tailoring. I bought a few items in, maybe 7 or 8 and was pleased with their work when I picked them up. The woman at front is a bit elderly and sometimes seems to be a little confused. I was surprised to see a gentleman come in and fill out his own slip but the next time I did the same and they just checked each item and wrote the price. Odd but I didn't mind because she seemed to need help. Pricing is excellent by the way. I wish I had could remember exact pricing but they are very reasonable. You definitely have to have patience at times. I went back once when my clothes were supposed to be ready but one of the skirts wasn't done. He told me and was apologetic and I said, fine, I'd return in a few days. When I picked my items up the skirt was beautifully done. It was a white wool skirt with a leather band and belt and he did just as great a job, as another higher priced "specialty" dry cleaner. I took a dress and jacket set that was a favorite of mine -that I hadn't worn in a while because of a stain that I thought couldn't come out. Well -I was very happy that they were able to make it like new! My daughter's little fancy dresses look like new also. I now feel confident taking my more expensive items because they've done a great job with what I've taken in so far. They've been in the area for years. I'm going to keep coming here. It's old school for sure and the location isn't great. There is a very small, awkward parking lot. don't expect some grand operation- they seem to be just hanging on, but if want your items nicely dry-cleaned at a very reasonable rate, want to support a small mom and pop operation, and like nice customer service you should give them a try.

Anyway, I had called before and asked how much to stitch a tear near ONE of the arms/sleeves of my winter jacket (there had been no other tears or damage on the rest of the coat). They told me $15 after I went in person for the seamstress (who I assume is also the owner) to assess the damage. When I return to pick it up a few days later, I go in and pay and look it over really quickly and it seems ok. Once I get home, something tells me to take a closer look. Tell me how the same tear in the sleeve is still there. I immediately run back to the place and show them that they charged me and hadn't even fixed the problem. instead of apologizing, they (the cashier and the owner/seamstress) go on the defensive and claim that there had been TWO different tears on my coat. I tell them that is absolutely not true, Im the one who wears the coat and would know where the defect is. More over, why would I pay to have ONE arm fixed and not the other? How does that make any sense? I tell them this and the seamstress goes and tells me, "Wait, I show you" and she goes and takes a small razorblade and BEGINS TO CREATE ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO MY COAT by slitting open some seams claiming to show me how it is that she supposedly stitched the "other ripped sleeve" of my coat, so now I have TWO ripped sleeves! I was in complete shock, I kept saying, "No, stop! You're making it WORSE!" I have witnessed few things in my life as idiotic as whatever this demonstration was. At the very least they immediately offered to refund me my money but I ended leaving with a worse problem than I came in with...and it wasn't a cheap coat either. DO NOT GO HERE.

This Place Sucks . They give you back dirty clothes and they're Very unpolite . STAY AWAY..read more
