Hidden spot in Hialeah with amazing food ! we went today for my moms birthday and we got there at 2PM, it was slammed. & the service was still amazing ! our server was Carlos, he was attentive. okay so there's A LOT OF TAPAS! everything ranges from 7.95-9.00 good pricing & good portions ! i got the ceviche white fish. $7.95 everywhere else you go it's at least $13-$15 my dad ordered the "lacon with white rice and potatoes it was $18 but it's a HUGE HUGE portion, we also ordered the tabla with cheese and meats so good! with the touch of jelly! (i wish it would come with some sort of hard toast) the garbanzos were delicious and so was the mash potatoes. this is in the corner of my house and i always just ignored it, they have soo much wine ' it's wine galore ! love this place it looks like they have live music sometimes and now their building a little outside seating area i hope they add cute lights ! and i wish they were open till maybe 2AM. they have ladies night on tuesday and half off wine on wednesday's ! this place is a def hidden gem! our bill was a great price too! check out the pics ! read more

The croquetas are FIRE, perfectly crisp with unreal flavor. The oxtail empanadas are an easy 10/10, rich and, tender. The paellas and arroz imperial are both standouts, packed with flavor and beautifully executed. And if you're craving classics, the masitas de puerco and vaca frita are legit! authentic, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. I went during lunchtime and the place was completely packed, which tells you everything you need to know. Despite the crowd, the vibe was great, energetic, welcoming, and full of that real Hialeah warmth. And the service was spot on! Highly recommend. Let's get into it! This was my second visit to La Bodeguita in Hialeah -- it was so good the first time, I had to come back. The vibe is great, especially with the live music adding to the atmosphere. This time, I tried the pork belly and it was fantastic. The red sauce really took it to the next level. I also ordered the rabo empanada -- you only get one, and honestly, it was just okay. It could've used more filling, and the sauce didn't really complement it. On my first visit, I had the rabo pasta and absolutely loved it. But this time, it didn't hit the same -- probably because it had the exact same flavor profile as the empanada. I made things worse by ordering the rabo encendido pizza, which also had the same flavor. It would've been nice if they switched things up a bit for those who really enjoy rabo encendido. The cauliflower crust on the pizza was a letdown too -- no crunch at all, especially for a thin crust. Definitely wouldn't order it again. That said, it's still a cool spot with a fun atmosphere.
