I ordered Uber Eats from La Bottega today. My order was for a panini and soup and was approx. $30 without delivery fee/tip. I am very disappointed by the food that came. It was packaged well but was poor quality and the taste was horrible. 1) Split Pea Soup - it was like thin green water and tasted more like celery than split pea soup. I would not recommend at all. 2) Bistecca Panini - It was literally think steak, tough and parts chewy on bred with a few onions and a piece of cheese. Dry and poor quality. I would advise going to Subway or Jersey Mikes before getting disappointed with this horrible overpriced food. read more

Working close by we ordered from here often. Not necessarily a bad spot, I've had many La Bottegas before but sometimes at this location (I don't wanna hold it against them) the food takes way too long to prepare. Whether it's a pickup or delivery it often takes a long time. Then the food gets a little too cold. Now granted la Bottega does serve up some fresh good food at times, but I dislike how if you order a sandwich there is nothing that comes on the side. Usually their steak sandwiches or paninis go for about $13-14 and you can't even get chips with that? I wish la Bottega would switch up their menu a little bit and maybe include a small side salad to go with the sandwich. I'm all about paying for food without complaining about the price, but at times it's gotta make sense for the person to want to eat here. Ehh it's something I can live without. read more

I have been coming to LaBottega for probably a year now. I started off with the salads. My fav was the chicken avocado and I would request romaine lettuce to get greens instead of iceberg which is good for a crunch if mixed. I ventured out to the entrees and had the Syosset a la vodka w chicken. That was good but the sauce is a little too sweet. Since I started eating healthier & lowering carb intake, I order the entrees w meat n veg instead of pasta. I tried the chicken Marsala, pollo pomorodini,Pollo Mozzarella w mushrooms, and salmone con vino Bianco. The meat/fish are always cooked fresh and are served w wine/lemon/butter sauce which makes the meat juicy and flavorful. The mushrooms are soo good, well seasoned and I also had broccoli, broc rabe, couliflower, tomatoes in the dishes as well. Both of my co workers come here, one gets the salads n paninis and the other gets the soup which is all natural (no can). Great pannini's and salads. Try the chicken, broccoli raab and fresh mozzerella - you can't miss. The fresh olive oil on the small tables is good. The atmosphere here is better than the bigger places. Very small, popular and cool. Friendly people. *Note Huntington is not as hospitable.. they will not leave the olive oil, it's on request. Let's assume the landlord is price gauging them for a village location but it's a weird vibe. Syosset is completely different... Try the small quaint happening Syosset La Botega. read more

We "used" to order here for work. Delivery was usually longer then usual, but you expect that sometimes during lunch times. Our last order, the guy on the phone said 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes...which I wasn't to excited about...but it was lunch time so I figureed they would get here at some point. 1 hour and 15 mins passed and I called to check on the order, the guy on the phone rudely said well I told you an hour and 15 minutes then hung up on me. We ordered at 12:30pm the food didnt arrive until 2:00pm...the place is a 5 minute drive away!!! Not to mention the food was cold when it arrived. The delivery guy did apoligise ALOT though. Placed a large take-out order for our family. Two "Staggione" salads came with lettuce that was brown and soggy. Mozzarella sticks ($12.50) came undercooked and cold. Pasta with butter served with a chunk of butter (not melted). We had gone into restaurant to voice concerns to Lou, the owner. Lou curtly dismissed our concerns stating that "Arrow Produce" always provides him with the freshest produce. Awful food and even worse customer service experience. read more

I ordered a romana con gamberoni salad from here and the "fresh mozz" was DISGUSTING, DRY and CHEWY, everything about this salad was horrible and it's my favorite salad every time I go to La Bottega. Food is delicious...that being said, the customer service and wait staff are extremely rude! I work close by and they are rude on the phone, take very long (are late) most times to deliver. Panini was dry and charged extra for dressing. If you call ahead to place an order- it MUST be for take out only. (Not sit down). Not accommodating at all. I was told to "sit and eat on their bench" inside, given an attitude when asked for a second fork. I will be giving my business to Iavarone Brothers instead. 3.5 no frills salad place. Their sandwiches can be a bit tough but still "healthy" and delicious. However, their salads are so so fresh. You can substitute your leaves for other kinds of leaves (i.e. We swapped our romaine lettuce with arugula) the avocado was perfect but the cheese kind of made the salad look "cheap" (if that even makes sense) the steak sandwich was flavorful and the grilled chicken in the salad was juicy and great! The portion of the salad can probably feed about 3 people. Great lunch place in town. read more

I eat here at least a few times a week. I didn't grow-up coming here and I have no affiliations with anyone there - the food is simply great. It's always consistent (I've never had a bad meal there) and the menu is so expansive that it could take you a year to order the same thing twice. Went there once with my stroller and two kids under the age of 2 and received a chilly reception. I was told they don't allow strollers in the restaurant. I won't be going there again, good food or not. By the way there were no signs about the strollers posted. This place is great! reffered by my best friend who is absolutly addicted to they're panninis. I wanted to try something easy at first so I got the avocado salad with grilled chicken, corn, mushrooms and red peppers topped off with balsamic vinigerette. I have to say that was the best salad i ever had! Everything was fresh and the dressing was amazing (not like one from a super market). I refurred this place to my aunt who was throwing my cousin her bridal shower and got nothing but thumbs up from everyone there :) It was the perfect party food! She ordered for apps; rice balls, fried zuccini and bruchetta. For dinner we had; assorted panninis, penne a la vodka, salad (with that awesome dressing) and "the charlie special" (chicken cutlet in this cream sauce with spinich and mozzarella cheese). I unfortunately had a horrible experience with the management of La Bottega and will never return to any of their locations. My credit card was mistakenly charged twice for lunch and after two weeks, no one has returned my calls as promised to address and resolve the issue. I am still in shock not only because I have not been reimbursed after this error, but because of the lack of concern for their customers. There are plenty of other decent Italian-American lunch spots to support which are run by people who care about their customers. read more

amazing!!! Love the Hogans and the prego!!!! Owner's are the nicest people ever and I love the atmosphere! It's a shame to see that some people didn't agree. Well, after reading "some people's" reviews I've noticed that for some reason "some people" still think it's 1950 and lunch should be like 5 bucks. Take that attitude to Subway and get yourself a footlong if you don't feel like having a substantial and delicious italian meal! The salads are phenomenal and totally worth every penny! read more

They have the best salads and paninis. I really love being able to order really quickly and then just jump in and pick up my order. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly when I walk in. They even know my schedule, as I babysit in town every week and they ask how the kids are doing and how I am. Food quality is great, and the ambiance is nice as well! read more
