I wanted a lighter, more airy look for the kitchen so I hired Walter Burrows to repaint the cabinets. Under a brutal sun he took all the cabinet doors off and spray painted them. The rest was handled with roller and brush. The kitchen and floor were protected and the work was done within a single day. Very reasonably priced. As an aside he does floors, walls, stucco, electrical and carpentry. I saw one recommendation on Nextdoor and took a chance. One of them happened to be the mess fest that was going on this past weekend. So we decided to head out to Orlando and let me tell you it was so much fun!! They transformed one of their rooms into a fun place for the kids to get messy. You were catapulting scrunchie balls covered in paint onto a canvas sheet. There was another area where they were doing little bottle rockets with paint and Alka-Seltzer. That my kids absolutely LOVED. They also had scribble bots, a raffle painting for canvas paintings but that's not all because they had other stuff going on different floors. We got to make our own slime and we even got to go outside and watch them use liquid nitrogen to cause a bubbly explosion that the kids got to play afterwards. This was a 10 out of 10 experience.

It is limited where you are allowed to get out and just wander for obvious reasons. This is a working control center. It was definitely worth the $71 for entry. Pro tip, if you wish to take the behind the scenes tour you need to do this and schedule it at least 3 weeks I had to time of your visit. I purchased my ticket for it 2 months out. I get there early they own at 09:00 and I was able to park up front, therefore not losing my vehicle iykyk lol even with that being said, the parking is not nearly as chaotic as anything that is Mickey Mouse land related. This place is a separated into multiple buildings (which I really like for crowd control) and has so many cool and unique ways of experiencing and learning about space and the NASA program. It seems there is some extra stuff you can pay for, like an astronaut-like experience, which I definitely would like to do on the next trip here. Outside of this, there are exhibits, shows, immersive experiences, various places to eat (including a Starbucks), and much more! We also got to see a rocket launch, which is something to scratch off the bucket list! They had a host who helped to guide you on where to look, and also prepared you with the Countdown. He was out there way before the shuttle actually took off, but only made announcements here and there. I think this viewing could be really enhanced if they were to add music as people are waiting for the launch, or even an audio that plays on a loop of fun facts and related things. The last thing we did before everything closed, was an IMAX film at their IMAX theater. We took note of what time it was starting and made sure to get there in time for this film. The issue is that it was SO so incredibly boring, which I did not expect.. after 30 minutes while it was still going, we decided to leave. I do hope that they update this to show more guest friendly films that capture audiences attention. I would definitely return and plan to whenever I am in the area again!

From an intimate 7 person dinner party to a literary function with a stage and full house- this flex-space has functioned well and left people with lots of share-worthy moments. In terms of a venue there's the advantage of a small kitchen as well as storage space that is closed off from the main area. Additionally, there is a parking lot that services the warehouses and that is largely unused in the evening. I love the space and am always excited to attend events hosted there, if only just to see how they will arrange it and decorate it!
