If you're ever in Bacliff, Tx., near Kemah, you have to try this flauta stack, there are 12 small flautas sitting on a bed of refried beans and queso, guacamole and more queso in between each so ack of 3 flauta, then topped with pico de gallo and more queso, it was soooo delicious, they have inside and outside dining, oh and that watermelon marg wa on point too and the service is always good and very nice staff

The rice I didn't like but had no choice to switch

My wife and I stopped by to eat a quick dinner when our food arrived I asked if I could change my rice for more beans the mgr said we don't do that the food is already at table I said but I don't like the rice he said no but my beans that I had was delicious but the hospitality sucked out waiter rush us when we didn't order fast enough he said I'll be back ignored us for like 5 minutes long story short I'm a chef and heard good things but guess I'm not the right skin color I will not be back food wasn't even hot!!!!!

This is a go to place for me since Happy Hour is all day and the service is always top notch. Food is always hot and delicious too. Not pictures - queso but not the white. It is on the menu and the manager promised it was coming ... They have a huge palapa are with outdoor fans, an indoor eating area and my fav in the summer - a 21 and up inside bar you can eat in. Any other season, we eat outside and love it. They also have an upstairs afternoon/evening 21 and up patio, but not sure it is pleasant in 100+ temps. Large portion and we usually split a meal or each take half home for next day. You really cannot be disappointed here!

October 29, 2019 met a group of 17 from all over galveston county for lunch. It's been 3+ years since my last visit. Said, I'd never be back and to my defense, this choice wasn't mine; it was a working lunch. This time I had the chimichanga with beans and rice. It was good, but came out luke warm. And, it wasn't a chimichanga because those are deep fried...this was not; it was a soft burrito...so, there's that! This place is decent for the prices, but just not the best quality of tex mex. And with all the competition out there, it's just not my preference. _________-_______

The container was leaking bean juice, I opened it to find cold; soggy strips; NO rice This is a " Carnita Bowl " I think NOT.

Well.... I spoke too soon, I must change rating once again. In photo you will see My "Carnita Bowl" (Delivery) No rice, soggy tortilla strips No tomatillo sauce. No tortillas ( per what yhe manager said was with my food) Upon speaking to Manager; he tells me I DO get rice; etc it's mixed in????? WHAT?? NO I have NO RICE. This looks disgusting, bean juice all over the exterior container. It's slop. I'm just not understanding how La Brisa is just going downhill so quickly. Needless to say I didn't eat it. ( It was cold when it arrived as well) ....

When we arrived, we chose to sit upstairs to enjoy the pretty ocean view and were served right away. The vibes were great with a lively crowd, a slight breeze, sunny weather, and beach hut inspired décor. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. It is honestly impressive that they serve 50 cent oysters all day, every day, so of course we ordered three dozen. The Gulf oysters were large and fresh, and they did not skimp on the cocktail sauce or horseradish. Even though this spot is pretty far from my house, the oyster deal alone might make it worth the drive. My dad and I also ordered the Fried Mushrooms. They were fried beautifully, crispy on the outside and perfectly bite sized, which made them very addictive. Our waiter recommended the Parmesan Crusted Redfish and said it was the best item on the menu. While it was good, the Parmesan coating leaned a bit salty. That said, it was cooked well and still enjoyable. If I came back, though, I would probably try something different, like the Fish Tacos he also suggested. Overall, between the unbeatable oyster deal, friendly service, and relaxed coastal atmosphere, this restaurant makes for a fun and worthwhile outing. While not every dish was perfect, the value and setting make it a place I would happily return to, especially on a sunny day.

The seafood platter we got was extremely salty and really hard to eat anything in it. The boudin was solid, though it was a little oily tasting and was extremely heavy. The fried platter we got was pretty good, as well as the oysters on the half shell. The sandwich and wings were both pretty okay, with nothing really special about either. With so many places here that do a similar thing, though, I feel that this restaurant doesn't strive to do anything to make itself stand out other than certain deals that they offer. Wish I enjoyed this more. Still, I really love crawfish...

Not exactly... there were two spice flavors to choose from, spicy and extra spicy. Our friends went with the extra spicy and said they were very salty. We went with the spicy, they were very far from any kind of spice. We also were not aware that on Wednesday night they have singo bingo, so getting a table is pretty much non existent. Luckily, I saw some friends so we joined their table. The restaurant also has a smoking section. It wasn't super smoky which was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully they will get the spices for the crawfish down because this could be a really great spot!

The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point. I think that I have decided that tasting menus just aren't my cup of tea, and I really prefer to go to a place where I can select exactly what I want.
