    Chile relleno plate. Delicious
    Kelly S.

Tried Esteban's for the first time today, though I've passed by it for several years. It was so good! Why did I wait so long? We were seated immediately during lunch. The service was incredibly attentive and very fast. We ordered two Don Julio margaritas which were only $9 and pretty strong. I took a nap after lunch. Esteban's had puffy tacos so I had to get some. Bonus: they were the Friday lunch special! Lort, they were so good. I'm so happy I can get my puffy taco fix without driving to San Antonio. It comes with rice and your choice of beans. Hubby got the chile relleno with ground beef. He said it was one of the best he's had. This man eats a lot of rellenos. They also let you choose your filling. You can even get fajita. The restaurant is very casual. Plenty of seating and tables. Not loud at all. I'll be back.

Carne Guisada: a little spicy and a lot delicious.

If you are on a time crunch for lunch, Esteban's is the place to eat. I love getting the carne guisada lunch special. It is delicious, like momma used to make. And it's under 10 bucks. You can't even eat FAST food for that price these days. The service is fast. So fast they could steal Jimmy John's tagline. Grab a lunch buddy and hit up Esteban's.

This might be why my order is always wrong or missing an item.

Great food when your to-go order is right, but more than half the time I place an order it is wrong or missing an item or two. Rather frustrating, especially when ordering online. Otherwise, this would be the only Mexican restaurant I eat food from.

I was looking for a local Tex-Mex caterer for the hubby's upcoming milestone bday and came across this place. We went last Friday night to try their fajitas, tacos and drinks. We were immediately seated by the host. The guy that brought our chips and salsa were very friendly. I ordered the original Margarita- nothing to write home about. The street tacos had tiny chopped fajita meat that was bland. The sauce that came with it was delicious though and I appreciate the generous slices of guacamole on the tacos. The fajitas were dry and lackluster. The waitress was just ok, she really didn't check on us much. Glad I tried this place out in person before I blindly ordered catering. It's a no for me.

Oh how I've missed this place!

We haven't visited since we moved 3 years ago. We miss this place so much! There is nothing that even comes close in East Texas Northeast of Beaumont. If I could open an Esteban's in the area we live in, we would put everyone else out of business! Fact!!! The food here at Esteban's is always so delicious and it doesn't matter what you choose from the menu. Appetizers of White or Yellow cheese Queso, Fresh Guacamole. We love the house margaritas here at Esteban's, my wife loves their watermelon margaritas! You can't go wrong on picking Esteban's Fajita Nachos for lunch or dinner. Their special meals are very good to pick from too! I will usually go with the Ixtapa that had two beef enchiladas one tamale, rice and your choice of refried or Barracho beans, a beef taco, queso chip,v and Guacamole. A lot of times if I'm not that hungry I'll get the Crispy Beef Taco dinner! But everything here has always been very good!!! The service is always on point and the Ambience can't be beat!!

Food was delicious with excellent service. Great atmosphere for business lunch. Could carry on a conversation with ease with just the right amount of service level, not too much and not too little. Hope to return again and share more details.

    Single taco.

I ordered delivery. The single taco was so soggy it fell apart. Street Taco description said "hard taco with meat, onions and cilantro". Pictured is... ??? Taco dinner arrived with 3 soggy tacos and no sides, no rice, no beans. Perhaps look at Taco Bell and how they wrap their hard tacos- they arrive crunchy!

Service is fine, however, food (Tex-mex) is mediocre. It taste like it was frozen and microwaved. Not worth $20 for a plate.

We would definitely consider hosting another event there and would recommend it to others. The facility is well set up and can handle its advertised duties, but the real story is the service provided by the staff. The staff and DJ did a great job of accommodating our party. We brought in outside catering, selected our own music, and spent a long time transforming the facility with a different look and feel. In short, we were particular, and the staff worked very well with us and all the parties involved to make it a success. My daughter and I selected music and I built a slideshow. Chris, the DJ (and either the husband of the owner or co-owner, I didn't ask), did a great job of working the music together to make a great program. We selected some music that wasn't traditional for a teeny-boppy party, and he sequenced it beautifully to engage the entire audience - even the grandparents were dancing! We also changed the program slightly during the event and again he kept up very well. If you are bringing in your own music and slideshow, make sure you follow Chris's directions so that you get the results you are looking for. I brought a few different file types of the slideshow in case there were difficulties playing one on their computer, but there weren't . The food and beverage accommodations are good, although we did not prepare food there, nor did we serve alcoholic beverages. We had dining catered by Gina's restaurant of Clear Lake, and they worked well with the Enchanted Gardens staff. We had a few family members arrive after the dinner was cleared, but the staff reheated and served them food. The service we had included sodas, tea, and water. For an additional fee, they served coffee. About the only drawback is that the facility is a little hard to find. We had a few guests that had difficulty finding the place. There are several factors for this; first is its actual location. It is situated in a strip shopping center that doesn't look like it would accommodate an event facility. Secondly, there is not a sign by the road, so finding the exact entrance in the dark was a little challenging. Third, it appears as though some search engines (including google/yelp) appear to show this near FM 517 even though it is near 146 (some 30 minutes the other direction). We learned of this from some very persistent guests. I hope to submit a request to fix this, but I would highly recommend that you include a map to the facility or directions with your invitation.

I had no idea where to start with wedding planning and I am so glad we went with Butler's Courtyard because everything from the lighting down to the tiniest detail of flourishes on our wedding cakes was taken care of. I can't really explain how they make this magic happen but they do! Amber and her team are organized, have a flow to the wedding night, and throw an amazing party. Timothy and I were completely floored by how well everyone (especially us) were taken care of and had no idea a wedding (much less our own) would be this extra super special. Low stress doesn't even begin to describe the evening! We didn't worry about a thing! Difficult family member? No problem, Amber's got Texas charm and stellar boundary-setting skills. Feeling overwhelmed? Take a load off with the private dinner for just the two of you-- to get some romantic quiet in an evening of festivities. There's honestly nothing these folks haven't thought of! They run like a well-oiled machine. Butler's Courtyard and their team of vendors are truly setting a high bar for this industry. Each one of their vendors works seamlessly in with the Butler's Courtyard team. Somebody needs to do a case-study on just how they are pulling off this kind of smooth-as-butter integration. So, ok sold on the team! But wait-- this venue! Historic, beautiful, breath-taking. Decor is elegant and artfully placed. The space was perfect for our 75 person wedding reception and we so enjoyed getting to explore the Rose Cottage, The Shop and other nooks and crannies in this place. Houston is such a new and developing city-- we don't have many treasures like this historic bank (with a vault) that oozes with charm and majesty. Ok, still not sold? Let's talk about all-inclusive. This venue does it all and if they don't, they have a partner that will do it and do it better than anyone else in the industry. Shout out to our florist Rene from Lush Flowers (truly unbelievable the kind of vision and artistry these experts have), photographer Jessica from Eventsmith (organized, calm, fun to be around and skillfully captured every single magic moment throughout the whole night), DJ Mark (who played all of our favorites and created the perfect environment for us), and Cool Cow (which was a huge hit! Who doesn't want all-night ice cream?). During the planning process, Amber patiently listened to our ideas for what this reception could be, provided guidance for two engineers who had no idea of what wedding planning consisted of, and on the day of-- captured our personalities and created the most magical night of our lives. I am not a person pre-occupied with weddings, wedding-planning, or party-planning of any sort but I am completely obsessed with the magic being created at Butler's Courtyard. For two people who got married in the middle of a global pandemic (July 2020) in a backyard in the rain-- this 'two-years-long-awaited' wedding reception was more than we could have ever hoped or dreamed it would be. Our lives, marriage, and friends and family have been forever touched by the generosity, love, and care of the folks at Butler's Courtyard.

The staff throughout the hotel were very kind, professional, and responded quickly whenever we needed assistance, which really stood out during our stay. The room itself was spacious, and the fitness center was excellent with plenty of equipment and activities available. The pool area was also very nice and relaxing. We ate lunch and dinner at Opus on the property, and both meals were very good. Breakfast had a great variety of options, although the quality of some items was about a 7/10 overall. There were a few maintenance and cleanliness concerns that kept the stay from being exceptional. The balcony was wet and had noticeable algae buildup, and while searching for an outlet behind the bed, I found that area extremely dusty and dirty. There were also water stains on the ceiling, some rust in areas of the room, and surprisingly no towel racks in the bathroom. Overall the room is very outdated. Another inconvenience was parking. Parking availability was poor, and we ended up having to park underground and walk through the rain carrying our bags. Also, only one elevator was working on our side of the hotel, which caused delays. Overall, the hotel has great amenities and excellent staff, but some upkeep and maintenance improvements would make the experience much better.
