My family and I went in for dinner an hour before they closed. We waited about 40 minutes and the last 20 minutes there we were the only ones in the restaurant. I finally got up to see what was going on with our order. They realized they had our food sitting on the counter for a while. My husband glanced before and saw bags on the counter but they never called us or our number. We were there for dine in. The people working were all gossiping and talking and no one ever once ever said anything to us. They first try to say that the food had only been out 5 minutes but the food was cold and soggy. My husband told them no it's been out for way more than 5 minutes because he saw them place the bags But assumed it was a order for a pickup. La Bufadora is a study in refreshing Mexican cuisine. The horchata alone is worth a star. One might assume that is not saying much. Keep in mind that the sun supplies the earth with the light all living beings need to order refills of horchata and tacos, tacos, tacos. Try the horchata here. It beats the Polar Bears off the Coke bottle. This location includes very clear and helpful signs for people who do not understand the norms of ordering at a restaurant. The ORDER HERE sign really reduced my nerves. I knew exactly where to order when I walked in and someone pointed the sign out to me. I found a sign labeled salsa bar too. Guess what. The Salsa Bar was below it! I even saw a sign for those who placed phone orders. I remember a fiasco I experienced because a restaurant I went to did not specify a location for phone orders. I almost almost took another patron's food. What a near embarrassment. To mistakenly believe I had the right food even for a moment was more than I could lion, tiger, or bear. Because of the huge metal signs at La Bufadora, I'll never re-live that shame again. I had a quesadilla loaded with the meat of beeves. The GF had the shrimpy Under The Sea-dilla. The quesadillas were a bargain for the amount of meat in them. Honking fat shrimp overloaded the shrimp quesadilla, and the carne asada quesadilla was simply bovine. The Salsa Bar is not without salsa. I am not sure what the lemons were doing there. The sign was only about salsa. I guess lemons go OK with salsa. Out of curiosity, I tried one lemon. The lemon added much juice to one of my cheesydilla slices. I definitely recommend a trip to the salsa bar there. One last stand out feature of this La Bufadora location is the light fixture hanging from a bunch of ropes in the middle of the dining area. I am not sure what the purpose of the weird ropes may be. They do accent the brown squares of wood on the wall. Maybe the decorator had that in mind. I'm not sure. Perhaps everyone needs to form his or her own understanding of the ceiling ropes[...] (The beans aren't half bad. They were a side. So I'm just mentioning them here as an aside.) read more

Truly disappointed in the potato taco I haven't had one in years and was looking forward to try out this place. I ordered 2 asada tacos n 1 potato taco and a churro to-go. My meal didn't even look like the review photos there was no type of sauce drizzled on the potato taco like is shown on the pictures and other reviews online.
