I hate to have to write this review but I feel like constructive criticism could be good for the business. I ordered through ubereats last night for 2 lbs of crawfish and 2 lbs of shrimp with medium and spicy level. Upon opening the tray, the food was still warm which was good. But what we saw after was a little odd. Normally garlic butter sauce is made with actual garlic chunks but what we got was gray mush on top on the seafood. I presume it is garlic or onions but it def didn't add to the flavor of the boil. The flavor of the seafood boil overall was very lack luster. It needed more cajun seasoning, butter, garlic, etc. Even the dipping sauce on the side was plain. We ended up sprinkling in a bunch of slap ya mama in to make taste better. The spice levels were also not very different either. They both just tasted mild and plain. Aside from the flavor the shrimp and crawfish themselves were decent. They weren't over cooked or anything. I don't think we will be ordering from here again unless they make some changes. read more

I've seen the crawfish sign for weeks and finally today I decided to stop by for lunch. Although I would agree with the previous reviewer... It's not a desirable place to eat, but I did eat there. it's a bit dirty but nothing where I saw roaches, more like a lack of customers. The crawfish was excellent! They are not you traditional crawfish with seasoning. I refer to these as Asian style where they are covered in a liquid sauce and garlic. You will not come out having garlic breath but you will love then if you don't mind garlic. I will be back for sure. read more

Let me tell you, I love this place! I always get the family platter to share (6 fish and 12 shrimp with fries and bread for 25 bucks, 29 with tax!) The fish is so crispy and delicious and the shrimp! It's seasoned great and an ok size but I wouldn't eat in there. it doesn't appear to be the cleanest place and it's in an area that I find a little run down that makes me not want to hang out there. Hands down the best crawfish place in Houston. I've tried many many places and nothing compared to the boiling crab in California. I ordered 3 pounds and as my crawfish stack got smaller and smaller as I ate I got sad. I regretted not ordering more. I got the garlic butter in mild and came with extra sauce and seasoning on the side and 3 limes cut as well. $6.99 a pound or get 3 pounds with sides for $21.99. This place isn't in the greatest part of town but they are legit. When I was paying I could see the guys in the back cleaning the crawfish and could see how clean it was. Most places don't even clean the crawfish and u could tell, but this place does and I'm glad to be able to see it with my own eyes. I didn't try anything else on their long menu as I was just trying out the crawfish. Crawfish was fresh and sweet. I love it and am debating if I should go back for a second round tonight. read more

Wow. Tried this place on a whim as it was on my way home while driving from Tomball on 249. I heard about it but not this location which makes me wonder if all these "LA Crawfish" places are owned by the same folks. Anyway, popped in and ordered (to go) 2lbs of crawfish (for me) and a fried shrimp plate with fries (for my BF). The counter staff, Paula, was super friendly and really welcomed me to the establishment. She was excited to have a new customer and told me she was happy to meet me. It was 30 minutes until closing and it was still full of folks and she told me I was lucky I missed the rush. She was really genuine and informative, providing me with an accurate answer to all of my inquiries. There are the choice of crawfish type: garlic butter, lemon pepper, and cajun spice. I chose cajun spice and then the choice of mild, medium, or spicy. I got spicy because I like my crawfish super spicy. All the food was packed well and they made sure to put the crawfish on the bottom so it doesn't leak on the fried shrimp and fries. Choice of cocktail sauce or tarter. We chose cocktail. Got home and all the food was hot. The shrimp platter (10.99) was amazing. Super jumbo amazing fresh shrimp with the perfect amount of breading and spice. Cocktail sauce was really good as were the fries. Crawfish were huge and 2lbs (6.99lb) looked hardy. They were much larger than the ones I've had this season. They were delicious but I would of liked them to be a bit spicer. Next time I will ask for super spicy and see if they can do it for me. I dipped mine in some Tony's to give it a kick. But seriously, they were good! Did I mention that they were big? Ha. I love the big claws and almost all of them had large claws and tails. Best part, I got to pick this up, take it home, and eat it all from the comfort my house. This is a new place that I will continuously go to from here on out. I can't wait to try more of the menu: wings, boiled and fried seafood, sides, and apps. The crab choices alone sounded amazing! Can't wait to eat here again. read more

Always come here when I'm craving for some good crawfish. Price is a bit high, but nonetheless, food is delicious. They have 3 different flavors you can get your crawfish boiled in and trust me, the spicy is SPICY! I would definitely recommend that you order the garlic pepper chicken wings. Those things are the bomb diggity. My gripe is that they charge you 50 cents per water -_- and trust me, you'll need it if you're gonna get the spicy crawfish. read more

They had not only crawfish but a full menu including things like gumbo, fried fish, shrimp fried rice, etc. I ordered the 3lbs of crawfish with sides (sausage, corn, potato). As a crawfish connoisseur, I honestly was not amazed at the crawfish as it had a sweet/salty taste that I'm not used to. It was ok but as a lady who knows crawfish I've had better. We just finished eating, ordered to-go for a family of 5. We ordered the 3lb crawfish special (comes with corn, sausage, and potatoes), a plate of shrimp fried rice, and 20 lemon pepper wings. We live a good distance away, so it's nice that they package the crawfish in a way that kept everything hot until we got home. This is my absolute favorite place for crawfish. They are perfectly seasoned in any flavor you choose. Be very careful they are incredibly delicious and I am totally addicted. The lemon peppered wings are prepared with their homemade ingredients and are very spicy and extremely good.
