The pizza here is very unique. The pizza shop is very run down and very small. I ordered the divolo pie which has pepperoni and basil. The crust tasted amazing. It's very fluffy and chewy. There's not much sauce and it is overflowing with cheese. It's very floppy. But the crust is very good. I think if they added less cheese and more sauce it would be great. The crust is very fluffy and soft. Owner seem nice and said he was from Tunisia.

While on a pizza tour around the area, I tried this super affordable, adorable spot in Park Slope. I think the price point is great for a budget, the pizza was floppy, and the crust was floofy and chewy. The service was friendly and the seating area outside was super cute with flower arrangements and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the taste of the pizza itself suffered. I heard other people talking about how good it was but I did not feel the same. The cheese was gooey and all, but tasted vaguely of salted curds. The sauce...well there was hardly any sauce to be seen at all so no flavor there either. It was incredibly bland and the only thing I liked about it was the chewy fluffy crust that could have had a better calling serving as a dinner roll. Too bad about the lack of flavor, everything else about this place was great. I think it's fine for a budget spot nearby but was not much to write home about as a visitor from far away.

Hearing the buzz in the neighborhood about this new pizza and pasta joint, we decided to give it a try. Absolutely agree with the other reviewers here - the quality and prices are unbelievable! Pizza Napoletana with anchovies and fresh mozzarella was huge - it had 8 giant slices for just $13. The crust is pillowy and chewy with an almost sourdough like flavor, and the cheese, basil, and sauce tasted absolutely fresh. It's baked in a giant pizza oven that revolves the pizza through the heat. Pasta Bolognese was served over penne and was super tasty. A generous portion here as well. For one-$ prices you're getting 5-* food, served with a smile. Don't miss it!

$5 for any two slices special! Unheard of for this level of pizza! Fresh mozzarella, pillowy chewy crust, and a nice flop. The owner was sweet and let me stay in to eat even though it was almost time for him to close up shop. The slices are generously sized as well! There is very little seating - about 4 chairs.

This place needs to be placed on the map! I was skeptical at first because it looked like a hole in the wall until a hospital coworker insisted I try it. Word of mouth is the best way to spread the love. Sammie the owner is very welcoming, humble, and knows his stuff He only uses fresh mozzarella, or should I say muzz The crust has a bouncy but crispy texture, it's just delightful on the tongue Sammi made me a personal pizza when he was closing late, I think it has to be the best personal pizzas I've had, and it's reasonably priced The special right now is 2 slices with any toppings for $5, I suggest you take up on this great deal, in this economy? fuggedaboutit I also tried the burrata salad, given that I need fiber at my age, it had generous portions of wonderful cheez although it could use more arugula This is now my go to slice of pizza

That right there is a monstrously hug and delicious chicken parmigiana sandwich. No way be person can eat this. Half would feed me twice.

The best chicken parmigiana I've ever had. You can taste all the different "notes" in the sauce, the cheese is real fresh mozzarella, the portions are tremendps. I have had La Casa Del Panouzzo's pizza, chicken parm (plate and sandwich), kale salad, turkey and cheese sandwich, but there is so much more--the menu is extensive--pancakes, vegan tofu scramble, pastas, salads, and on and on. Aside from the deliciousness and freshness of the food, the prices are almost ridiculously low for what you are getting. The owner is a lovely, lovely person as is the only other employee I've seen in there--Pedro. The owner treats Pedro and his customers so kindly, which only adds to the experience. With all of the positives, I would say that your best bet is to take the food out. There isn't much room to sit and eat there--you can do it, but it's not ideal. Eat here now!

What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Waiting in line to get added to a waitlist that still doesn't always guarantee you will sit down to eat at the requested time - we were seated 40 mins after checking in (unusually long, never had more then 20 mins or so in past visits) but still a strange system, keeps the spot exclusive I'd guess. Have visited several times and always have had a good meal and the prices are very fair. Seating is not super comfortable and they pack you in for real, the restaurant is also unnecessarily dark and loud - But not in a bad way? I can't explain it but the very delicious pizza makes up for the weird ambiance and all the rules... definitely something to experience atleast once.

I've eaten here, come to the Bushwick Block Party to see Action Bronson perform, and spent enough time around Tiki Disco to associate the place with a particularly inventive, free-spirited period in the neighborhood. The dining area still has that wonderfully idiosyncratic character: exposed beams, communal tables, mismatched details, and an open kitchen turning out genuinely excellent pizza. What impresses me most is how naturally Roberta's became more than a restaurant. Food, music, parties, outdoor spaces, and an extraordinary mix of people all seemed to converge here, giving the place a cultural gravity that could never have been designed by committee. It remains one of those places that instantly takes me back to my bachelor years and an especially fun chapter of my time in the city, when Bushwick felt endlessly creative, and Roberta's seemed to sit comfortably at its center.
