The one thing we always order is their churros, they are amazing. This place easily has some of the best tacos. The lengua is super soft and delicious. The al pastor is by far the best I've ever had in my life - the flavor was amazing, and the pork was coated. The carne asada was super tender and melted in my mouth. And the cecina was incredible! They have tons of larger cocktails here with slightly hefty price tags, but they're very boozy which is a fair trade. My only complaint is the refried beans - they were a little thin, but they tasted good otherwise. I will definitely be back. read more

My wife and I went to dinner here and the drinks were amazing. We finished our chips and salsa and asked for more but we were told they have no more. There was only one cook and it took over an hour for a burrito and steak fajitas. The steak in the burrito was burnt and it was like crunching on chicharron. We had no intentions of going here but I'm so glad we did. It was my first time there after golden nugget around the corner was super duper packed. I loved the sugar skulls and decor of the place. Our waitress was really polite and offered a sample of the agua fresca before we decided to purchase it which I really appreciated. The tacos are very flavorful and the serving size of rice and beans is very filling. By the time we left we couldn't breathe. Lol They had a kids meal which came with one taco, rice and beans and I thought that was awesome. My sister suggested we dine here for our girls night out. I did enjoy the ambiance that day. We had mariachi music that day so that made it feel special. I was on the other hand disappointed that they did not have the food I wanted at that time. As a vegetarian it's not quite easy to eat out and the options are limited. First time ordering and they did not disappoint! My husband stated that they were the best chicken tacos he has ever had. Our daughter had the steak tacos and she's picky and she LOVED them. My son agreed with his dad on the chicken tacos. I had shrimp tacos and chorizo tostada and all I can say is YUM. We all shared quacamole and chips and we were fighting over the last chip. The food was so fresh, so well made, and nothing we ordered was mediocre. Don't hesitate...order from here. The first red flag was when we were putting our name on the waiting list. One of the servers was eating from a plate that she had just took away from a table. We waited 30 minutes to be seated on a weekend. Our first time there so we decided to order our drinks while we looked at the menu. Our server asked us (with an attitude) if we were ready to place the food order. We asked her for a minute to look over the menu. She answered "a minute?! okay but I have other tables and the sooner you put in our order, the sooner you will get your food!" When she came back, I started telling her what I wanted and she just walked away to go charge a table that was leaving. She was extremely rude to everyone walking in but friendly with her coworkers. it definitely shows that she can not work under pressure. We got the birria tacos. tacos and consomé had no flavor. Chilaquiles verdes were also flavorless. Our gorditas were hard like if they were sitting there for a few minutes. Sopes were okay. all of our food had big pieces of burned food from the grill. The margaritas (mango) tasted like water and alcohol. It didn't have any color. It reminded me of a banana smoothie. As I was eating my food, I noticed one server kept eating off the peoples plates and our server grabbed some tortilla chips and started dipping them into the big salsa container that was in the fridge. I wouldn't had tipped the server but it was included in the bill. Overall the food is not horrible but it isn't good. The service was trash, I would definitely never go eat there again. read more

Don't believe the hype. Went here with my friend for lunch. Honestly should have just gone for hotdogs. Service- server was friendly but seemed like her mind was elsewhere. Burrito (asada) is a 4/10 mostly lettuce and beans Enchiladas (verde de pollo) are a 2.3/10 for ONLY PRESENTATION tatse was trash. Fatty chicken, barley any salsa, and the torillas just break apart or stick. (How does that even happen?) I had to let the server know that they were not good and to remove it from the bill. We didn't even eat half of one. Ambiance- it looks pretty but kinda worn down. "MANAGEMENT/OWNER" I asked to speak to a manger, our sever told me only the owner was there so I asked for her. Well the lady who had been at the register (also the one who left the towel) approached. As we speak she is using the same tone my Tias would use to us as kids. I was upset.
