Our Guild planned, purchased and paid for a catered Lunch today that LA Cazuela in Lawrenceville never brought. We called, they confirmed that order was on the way, but they never showed up. Though they refunded us, it was our Annual Holiday Guild Party and more than 80 members were negatively impacted. Never again. Never!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]La Cazuela is not a bad spot! Came here on a Friday and the atmosphere was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Couple of people celebrating their birthday's and others having family time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the steak fajita and a Cadillac margarita. The steak fajita was on point but the Cadillac margarita was just ok. Service was great! Our waitress did a great job of making sure all is well.

Lack Cazuela is a must-try! Bold, savory flavors and that perfectly grilled corn loaded with creamy sauce, cheese, and spice--every bite hits. Fresh, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. Can't wait to come back for another round!

We held a graduation dinner for my daughter here at La Cazuela! Can I tell you this staff is amazing! The professionalism, patience class of this crew is top notch. And so personable at the same time. We felt like we were among family and we are so incredibly grateful for how seamlessly they pulled this all together. Food was also amazing and [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance with the exposed brick is beautiful![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wallesssa ( owner) ,Amora, Stephanie and Ariani are just a few of the names I remember. You are sure to get great service if dine here. Make sure to arrive a little early to srcure parking in the back of the building or in the parking deck across the street as parking fills up quickly!

I was really hopeful about this place and was extremely disappointed. At first we were told there was a 30 minute wait, and after we got seated after 1 hour and half wait we didn't even get our food until 30 minutes later. I had ordered a small Queso cup to go with my chips. My server had completely forgot about it and said we couldn't pay until the manager took it off the bill. That of course took another 10 minutes to be taken off. I would never ever go here again.Cant forget the bowl looked like literally dog food. They completely forgot to put the toppings all I got was lettuce and cheese. The menu says it comes with sour cream and guac and of course they had not put it on. The food was bland and after almost 2 hours of waiting you would atleast expect good food and service. We had ordered 2 Tex-Mex bowls it was more like an TEX-MESS BOWL.

A friend and I stopped in for lunch today at La Cazuela. We were greeted kindly and take them to a table. We were offered chips and salsa as we looked at the menu. They have a nice lunch menu here. Two Tex-Mex items, a cup of soup, served with beans and rice, and a soft drink for $10. I ordered a Chile Relleno, and beef burrito. I have to say the chicken tortilla soup was excellent and I could've eaten a big bowl of the soup and been absolutely happy. Although I did not love my Chile Relleno and beef burrito, it was still good and a great lunch option. My friend ordered a soft taco and a chicken burrito. We shared a dessert which was very good! A chocolate stuffed chimichanga with ice cream and chocolate sauce port over the top. Very yummy. Our order came out hot and fresh. Our server was very polite and attentive. This is a great lunch stop if you are in the Lawrenceville Square area.

Oh noooooo! I want to like this place so much, but I don't, I just wasnt feeling it. The food, the waiter and the atmosphere was a bit off..... but the drinks were poppin! I ordered the Texas fajitas and a Texas Margarita. The fajitas were very weak, I had about 5 small pitiful shrimp, a few pieces of dried out chicken breast and card board steak..... and no sizzle when the food came out. My date ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was basically meat folded up in a soft taco shell, the cheese wasn't complete melted. We were not happy, @9:20pm everything seemed rushed. Will we give this place another try? Maybe ( kudos to the bartender) lol

My friend and I came here a few days ago and enjoyed it! The food was pretty good (could've had more flavor but still good in my opinion) and the portions are big. The prices are very reasonable here and our server was attentive.

Food was terrible. Salsa was like out of a jar from Walmart. Got a burrito that was worse than chipotles.

I just made sure to ask for extra pickled onions because they are delicious. My husband had a beef burrito with cheese dip, rice, and beans. Alejandro did bring three sauces for us to try with different levels of heat, but I opted not to try any of them after I tried one and I didn't like the taste. I was good with just the salsa that came with the chips. I ordered a flan to go and I would give that a six out of 10. I don't ever have to have that again. The bathrooms were clean and really smelled nice. Whatever air freshener they are using in the women's bathroom is a 10 out of 10. Parking here is free and is first come first serve. There is a lower parking area available if the top level is full. The parking lot is shared with other restaurants and businesses in the same complex. I would definitely come back here to try something else recommended by the staff.

Not at TLH, but PERIOD. It was that good. (I'll have to think about it a bit, but it's definitely in the top 5.) My single complaint: it wasn't hot. It was warm, but not hot. Didn't make it any less wonderful, but I would have liked it a little warmer. The meat was perfectly cooked and lean. The green sauce was extremely tasty. The rice was nice and buttery. The green beans with onions might actually have been the best thing on the plate, or maybe I was just in the mood for sautéed green beans. For my appetizer, I picked esquite, which is basically Mexican street corn (elote) cut off the cob. It came "separated," meaning that they didn't mix it together; I got a HEAP of corn, some mayo, some crumbled cheese, and chili powder, and mixed it to my own favorite ratio. I didn't get a picture because I was too busy eating it. Server was very attentive and I didn't have to wait at all for anything.

I ordered about 5 tacos for a corporate lunch about 20 minutes from our office. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience this time. The food we received was burnt and overcooked, as seen in the pictures below. One order of tacos was actually a quesadilla instead. When we proceeded to call the restaurant to inform them they insisted that we drive 20 minutes back with the burnt food and the receipt in order to receive compensation, however due to the distance from us that was impossible for us to do and they could not provide us any other alternatives. The manger we spoke to was also very rude and unapologetic of actions and proceeded to encourage us to dispute the charge via our own bank accounts. Very unpleasant and rude staff which was disappointing considering we order from here multiple times. Would not recommend for corporate lunches and was disappointed in the lack of empathy or apologetic manner from the entire staff.

I had no idea who owned it before walking in (though I later read it's run by a mother and daughters team), but as soon as I stepped inside, I could feel the care and pride that's clearly been poured into this space. The interior is clean, colorful, and welcoming--everything from the decor to the spotless bathrooms signals that cleanliness and presentation matter here. I stopped in around 1 PM on a weekday and found a calm, relaxed atmosphere with three other tables of customers. There was one server on duty who managed the space well--attentive without being intrusive. She brought out complimentary blue tortilla chips and salsa. While the chips weren't fresh-made, they were decent--especially considering they're free. For my meal, I ordered the Veggie Fajitas with corn tortillas. The vegetables were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Both the rice and beans had great flavor. The only real downside? The portion of refried beans was tiny--maybe two tablespoons at most. When I asked about it, the server mentioned it was due to "portion control," though that reasoning felt a bit unclear. She also said that their refried beans and black beans are vegetarian (which is unusual - most restaurants the refried beans are not). All in all, despite the just-okay chips and the skimpy bean portion, Lolita's delivered where it matters: flavor, cleanliness, and service. With a few small tweaks, it could easily be a 20 out of 10. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine, definitely go give them your support. Local gems like this deserve to stick around.
