California Bun dropped off strawberry matcha samples for my Pilates class, and all I have to show is an empty cup--it was that good. I went inside right after and the buns are unreal, including one with mac & cheese. Kim was so welcoming and knowledgeable about each bun. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is brand new, beautiful, and everything looks incredibly fresh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The matcha was perfectly balanced--not too tart, not too sweet. Can't wait to come back and try more. Highly recommend.

There's a large plaza lot to get here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's really chill and has a casual atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were friendly and helpful. The food arrived a bit delayed but it was due to a mix up. But the food was still hot. The eatzza pizza was pretty good, basically a small calzone. The chorizo con huevo were alright. I wished there was more kick to the Chorizo taste, it was subtle in it's flavor. The philly cheez as also pretty good. The price is bit higher than I'd prefer. But it's worth a shot to try.

Assorted flavor box 6 for $35 - June 2026

Ever since I left Japan, I missed the quick meals that buns can be. I heard that there was a new restaurant serving up assorted specialty buns! I wanted a quick bite for the beach so I headed to their new location. The service by the buntender there was warm as I stepped into the savory smelly sanctuary. She was knowledgeable on the best flavors to start with for different palates. I got an assorted bun box of 6 flavors to try. My mouth drooled after each one. My favorite would have to be THE TUSCANY because I love chicken and sundried tomatoes but they were all easily 8.5-9.5 out of 10 on flavor. Plus you can't beat the portability.

The buns are really good. I have never had these before. I had the meatball bun which was tasty. I think it might take two buns for a dinner. I also had the tots which were really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was pretty empty at dinner time this evening[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . I think people probably come more for breakfast and lunch. Service was very good. The person working the counter was excellent and super nice. The order came out pretty quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating was comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Mainly tables but a couple of booths against the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I took my Daughter to try this place because we were curious about it since we keep hearing good things about it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon entering the place was really clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and we were headed there for breakfast so we opted to order a jalapeño bite to try the spicy levels which it wasn't that spicy and I'm on the weaker end of spice handling. We also tried the steak peppers and egg bun and the mac & cheese bun with the cinnamon iced latte and the Taro lavender milk drink. I just have a jalapeño bite and the cinnamon iced latte and both were splendid. The jalapeño bite was just the right amount of kick and I soothe the spice with the ice latte which was just the right amount of sugar coffee blend. I will come back to try more options, but it was just kind of a quick stop for us this time. The buns were very fresh and soft and the drink was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was great and there was plenty of parking and plenty of seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Super friendly staff, very easy pickup order experience, [[HIGHLIGHT]]nice comfortable dining area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We had a personal touch on our kids' meals that made us all happy.

Fast and friendly service. The food was hot and very filling. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Service was super so I included a 15% tip.

This is an amazingly original eatery. The menu is eclectic, the cuisine design ingenious, and the service exceptionally pleasant and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's decorated in modern butcher-block tables and rustic wooden chairs with orange accented cushions. Very appealing, filled with pleasant background music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a two-bun combo -- Philly beef and cheese for one, steak and eggs for the other, which includes one side and their refreshing hand-mixed drinks (the Arnold Palmer is perfect for a warm day). For a side I selected the fruit cup, which is generous and artistic (see photo). The buns are not Asian-style Bao buns, but rather hard-shell brioche with a thin crust and plentiful filling. This texture combination is wonderful. This combo was plenty for an adult meal, and I left fully satisfied. I'll be back for more!

I was in the area, and I had to try this place. First off, the place is huge - too big. It was practically empty, but I don't understand why they have so many tables. It almost seemed like it was a bar/restaurant. I got a box of 6, which I felt was the best deal - these aren't cheap. Overall, they were great and very filling. I also appreciated the wonderful customer service. The employee was patient and answered all my questions. I highly recommend!!

This is a Moorpark gem. You can literally find anything you love from a breakfast bun to meatball parm to chicken Thai. You can be fed for about $10. A Ventura Co. rarity! The owners are likely to greet you and thank you for coming in. What? The privilege is yours! Why aren't you there right now? Go to their website and drive over to day!

This was a random spot I found for breakfast/lunch ! Employees were very nice and gave out some of their favorite recommendations to me since I looked very confused . I went with a breakfast egg bacon one and a Korean one. The breakfast one was super good , the Korean one had good flavor but felt it needed a bit more filling/sauce l . Would come back to try some more options (-:

Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.

I've been to Italy multiple times and grew up around Italian baking, and this is hands down the best frittelle I've ever tasted. Most places serve it in a paper cup where the espresso and gelato just blend into a mushy mess. Not here. Carrara's presents it beautifully on a stone tray, with a proper espresso cup and a transparent glass so you can actually see the layers of gelato and espresso. But sadly I didn't appreciate the flavor combo with the gooey nacho cheese sauce and a very minimal few pieces of turkey. Where my spouse's sandwich was several fingers high, mine was muy flaco.
