This place is the definition of dependable. The service was good. Are they Chik fil-A or In-N-Out where they refuse to let you have a bad experience? No. But there also not snot-nosed kids who don't give two shuts about your well-being. I'd say they fall in the middle--not going of their way to help or hurt you. And the ambiance is the same as every other location--comfy and inviting. We've always loved all the tucked away booths and tables. Firehouse Subs Missing order…read more On November 24th, my wife walked into Firehouse Subs to pick up an order she had placed on the Firehouse website. Our food was not there. We found out that DoorDash had picked it up and delivered it to their customer. We found this out because the customer had called us, rather than rectifying the situation. The manager at Firehouse refused to remake our food or issue a refund. He told her there was nothing he could do and that she should request a refund online. This compounded the incident with poor customer service. We immediately notified Firehouse Subs about the issue. Jessica was quick to respond. However, she also said there was nothing that she could do as the store's POS system processed our payment. We therefore would have to get the refund from the store. Jessica added that she would forward the information to the store's ownership and management. It's been months, with no communication from the store. They took our money and did not provide us with food. That is theft. And to add insult to injury, their customer service was horrendous. We had already taken the matter up with management on site at the time, and do not wish to waste any more of our time. Sixty dollars is not much to us. But to others, it may be a lot. The reason why I am writing this review is the principle of this matter. What they did is wrong. According to feedingamerica.org, 20% of Americans are living with food insecurity. I said that $60 is not significant to me. However, for the 1 in 5 that it is, I am leaving this review. There is something very wrong with their beverage machine and it's been happening for at least a week. On two separate occasions my mom has complained that her diet Coke tastes sour. This evening my daughter tried to get cream soda and there was no syrup, only carbonation. I got Fanta and it was disgusting. While we were there they were restocking the chips and for some reason the lady that was showing everybody how they should be restocked seemed upset.
