To start off, having to pay for valet parking. There's no parking around the area. It's $10. We had reservations so our table was ready when we got there. The server was always gone. She rarely checked in with us; and when we asked about items on the menu, she seemed irritated. We asked about birthday packages and she said she would be right back to tell us, she took over 20mins to come back to our table. It probably would of been easier to order at the bar. They weren't packed or anything. So it didn't make sense why she was gone and rarely checked in. Well she was sitting at a table with the rest of the workers. On to the food, I ordered the the Texas dip , it had steak, shrimp chicken and queso. It was good. But very runny. But still good. We also ordered nachos with just chicken and queso, which was really good. Got a pitcher of Blueberry margaritas. But it didn't taste like blueberries at all. Have come to this place a few times and the food is really good. However today we were hit with a surprise. I have come with my family before and all of a sudden after driving 40 the sign on the door states 21 and over and when I ask the hostess to confirm being that I have come here before with my son who is 11 and not had issues was told very rudely yes. Another waitress at this time chimed in and stated well that why we have a sign on the door it's 21 and over only. Very disappointed. To be frank, this place is mid. There's mandatory valet, which would be fine if the rest of my experience was better. I stood at the front for a couple of minutes and no one greeted me or said anything. They just stood in a huddle and continued their conversation. My food came out and it was hardly warm. The cheese wasn't even melted on the beans. They happened to be out of horchata and didn't have any virgin frozen drinks so I stuck with water. I ordered the birria quesadilla. The birria itself was flavorful, but it didn't come with anything but rice and beans. No consomé, no salsa verde, no limes, just vibes. Highly disappointed. I could've went down the street to Tacos La Villa and had more for less and better service. Oh and no valet. I suppose if you like hookah and alcohol, you might appreciate the experience more, but alas, i'm not too happy with it. Save yourself the visit. Upon arriving the hostess sat us outside. More than 20 minutes went by and no waitress came to check on or us or take our order. We finally stopped one of the waitresses and she said she was not our waitress and she did not know who was. After 35 minutes we finally got a waitress to take our order. We ordered the queso that comes with chicken, steak and shrimp. We explained to the waitress one of us was allergic to shrimp but she said we can substitute for an extra meat. The server brought the queso out but before making it to our table he stopped at two other tables trying to give them the queso because he did not know what table it went to. Once he made it to our table we found out the queso did have shrimp in it!! They took the queso back and we had to wait another 15-20 minutes for the correct queso to come. My husband and I went to this place today and before we even walked in it was a mess and I instantly began to regret going there. They only have one lane parking, very small I'm not sure how anyone could even leave from the spaces. There were a couple of cars parked in front of the sign on the grass, very ghetto if you ask me. When we got in we asked for a booth but the lady at the front said they were saving booths for parties of 3+ so we thought ok no biggie a high top is fine. But as we were getting seated we both noticed plenty of booths available and everyone that were already in booths a were parties of 2. Big red flag for me. So I was confused as to why we couldn't get one if everyone else had one. It took 15 minutes for someone to ask us for something to drink and he (the waiter) didn't even tell us his name. It was more like "what y'all want to drink" we ordered water and that didn't take long (I would hope not). We ordered an appetizer which came out fairly quick but then no one came to check on us again. We both were getting agitated because of how long we were waiting to be seen or asked to order and there was hardly that many people inside for the time we waited. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place, customer service is terrible, parking is terrible, the inside is terrible, drinks are overpriced and although we didn't get to the food I wouldn't waste my money there with service like that. At first my experience was not going well. It took about 10 minutes to be sat with no chairs. So we were standing around looking aimless then another 10 minutes waiting to be greeted from our server. I understand establishments are busy but I work in customer service and do understand that even though you are busy, it's very easy to come to say hey to us and tell us that It was busy. It wasn't until Kevin who was previously stated in a tiktok for his great customer service and energy came over and took care of us.
