Dog eating off of the table

This has nothing to do with the food. We have eaten at this restaurant for at least 20 years. This time we were disturbed by the fact that the restaurant and manager/owner allowed a dog to sit next to the dog's owner and eat off the table. (Actually there were 2 dogs). When we spoke to the the person in charge he said he didn't want to make waves. Attached to will find a picture of the dog. Unfortunately the picture can't be made bigger.

I enjoyed our happy hour here. The entrees are $25 and drinks are half price. I went here with a group and we had a lot of fun. I had a fun time with our group which was an extra bonus. Happy hour starts at 5:00 pm and we arrived by 4:50 pm to make sure we could get the long table in the front. It all worked out so perfectly. It is a very elegant place inside! Happy hour is a great way to see the place and try the foods ! I just wish we were able to dance a little! LOL

Ambience beautiful, service fantastic, food delicious. We got there for happy hour and to our surprise they were doing a prix fixed menu at the bar. 25 dollars several entries to choose from, drinks buy one get one. I had the clams in a white wine over linguine super good . One of my friends started with the French Onion soup he said it was equisite, my other friend got the Caesar salad chicken cacciatore, my other friend did Salmon all of us were very pleased.

This was our 3rd time in 5 years and it always impressses us. The Happy Hour special menu is such a bargain. 2 for 1 Drinks and an amazing $25 dollar entree selection.

It was like they were made the day before, dry and tasteless. My wife loves French Onion Soup, theirs is caramelized onions and croutons in a broth topped with cheese gratinée , just ok. For entrées I had Duck a l'Orange, partly de-boned roasted half duck served with a zesty a l'orange sauce, garlic-roasted potatoes, and green beans. Also just ok and lacking flavor. It was an additional $7 upcharge. My wife opted for the Mediterranean Branzino , Filet of Branzino seasoned with oregano and a touch of EVOO, served with rice and garlic-sautéed mediterranean vegetables. She wasn't thrilled with it. For dessert, I ordered the Lavender Crème Brûlée, Lavender-infused custard topped with crispy caramelized sugar, another one of my favorites and it was the best thing all night. I had the Chocolate Fondant, soft chocolate cake served warm w/ whipped cream, roasted almonds and a drizzle of berry sauce cake served warm with crème anglaise. She was told it was a lava cake which it wasn't. Sorry but not returning.

We were two couples dining on a Friday evening and loved every dish we tried. We were a little hesitant as the only reservation we'd been able to get was for outside. The temps were going to be in the high eighties. I'm glad we still came. There was a slight breeze, plus the fans, and the covered tenting, made for a comfortable setting. And it was a tad quieter sitting outside. Our only minor quibble was that our server was busy entertaining and had a lot of tables. But although it was a long time between courses, we got to relax and enjoy our conversations. My husband and I shared a grilled Caesar. The baby lettuce had a nice smoky flavor. It was a good appetizer. After that he had the pb and fois gras -- which he adored. And I had the grilled artichokes. It was not what I expected -- I was thinking they would be whole. But the dish was good. We shared lamb meatballs next -- and they were very good. Our friends started with the burrata. The plate was gorgeous -- so colorful. And the burrata very creamy. For their main dishes, she had the lobster and shrimp flatbread and he had the grilled salmon rice bowl. They both enjoyed their choices. For dessert, we had the blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Served hot, it was slightly sweet without being cloying. We can't wait to bring friends here. We've already recommended the restaurant to folks several times.

I like the array of food items but did not fancy any of the drink specials! We had the short rib tostadas, coconut shrimp tacos, wagyu sliders and fried rice...yes the chef's Cantonese wife has wonderful influences on its menu items including hong Kong bronzino, clams with black bean over linguine and pork belly fried rice served with sunny side egg! Everything was freshly prepared, and served piping hot! My only complaint is the excessive heat from the fried rice which is not typical and I feel takes away from the dish...but cut back the spicy peppers and aioli and it would be a 10/10! Looking forward to seeing more Asian inspired specials!

Then you either cut through the building or walk around to the back (or front entrance). There are some tables outside and about 6 two-top tables inside. You order at the counter, and they will bring your food to you. In the counter displays you can see their various pastries and quiches. There's also a separate cooler for cold drinks. When we stopped by for lunch, they were fairly full inside -- which meant 4 of the tables were taken. It was a one-man band as the owner/chef was doing everything by himself. He was waiting on everyone and preparing the food, as well. Oh, and btw, he is from Paris. I started with an iced decaf coffee. The coffee was very good -- not bitter like the famous chain everyone goes to. I also ordered a sandwich of turkey with cranberry sauce and brie. It regularly comes also with ham, but I had him leave this off. They were out of baguettes so our choices of bread was a panini or a panini (!) -- so we got a panini. My husband ordered a tuna sandwich with veggies. I think the guy thought he'd ordered tuna with cheese, however. It took a bit to get our sandwiches as the chef was making crepes and other food for the rest of the customers. We were okay with this -- although hungry. Both sandwiches were served hot from the panini press. And both sandwiches were thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't get any dessert, but several items looked appealing. If you are looking for an authentic local cafe experience and are not in a rush, this place is for you.

Vincent's was founded by Chef Vincent Durin and his wife, Christine. Chef Durin apprenticed in Charcuterie-Traiteur in France before opening two restaurants and a catering service in Quebec, as well as another restaurant in the south of France. His family then came to the United States, where they opened Vincent's French Bakery in Lake Worth Beach in April 2020. Boca Raton is their second location, and they have recently expanded with a takeout-only spot on Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. Today, his son Hugo and his wife, Allison, have become an integral part of the business. On the sidewalk out front, there are a few tables. As soon as you walk in the door, you are met with a European-inspired café. A glass bakery case beckons you to indulge in the savory and sweet pastries on display. Vincent's is known for its croissants, artisanal sandwiches, salads, omelets, quiche, locally roasted coffee, and more. Come early for the best selection of pastries. I had just missed out on the last pistachio croissant of the day, but I nursed my disappointment with an almond croissant instead. I also indulged in a warm ham and brie croissant that would have benefited from mustard, along with an iced latte. The tables inside are seat-yourself. If I have one critique, it is that I didn't feel especially welcomed. While not rude, the service was reserved.
