Amazing find! Was just passing by and saw the sign for Friday & Saturday late night happy hour so we had to try it! Not only was the food great but so was the service and the vibe! We sat outside in what looked like a rose garden. The dishes were also so adorable! Will definitely be back!

This review is for the DIY sushi making class. A friend and I went today and let me say, it was amazing! It was worth it for the price as well. You get an appetizer of gyozas, choice of beverage (sake or bottomless mimosas), and then you choose three different fish to begin making your sushi rolls. You get all of the makings you need to customize your rolls. It was a fun experience and then of course getting to eat your creation afterwards. You can take whatever you can't finish with you and they give you a cute insulated bag with a ceramic soy sauce holder and post card. The service was excellent and everything tasted fresh. We're looking forward to coming back for a meal!

Really enjoyed the food. All the wagyu dishes were cooked perfectly. Wagyu sando was fire. Gyoza had the perfect crisp. The restaurant has beautiful decor. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful . Kimchi Caesar was lovely

We came here for a Dumpling making brunch and had so much fun! The restaurant itself was beautiful! Decor and small details even at the table were top notch. It was bottomless mimosas or sake and your glass was never empty..She was always there topping you off! We started with pork belly Caesars salad, which was tasty then went on to making our own dumplings. The instructor showed everyone up close and was around when we needed him and definitely helped everyone "start off" cooking our dumplings but the mimosas took over and he just ended up cooking.. LOL You can say it was bottomless dumplings too.. We made so many, it was way more than what anyone could eat. The products were top notch so as ugly as our dumplings were made, they all tasted great! The only thing I would have added to this event would be some sides to break up the dumplings...Maybe some bok choy or greens and some fried rice. Otherwise, great experience and restaurant. We will be back for a regular visit but also for their sushi making brunch!

Loved it here. We stopped in for the late night happy hour and it was amazing. Great service. Very professional and friendly. The vibe was old time Japanese. Loved the cat dishes and decor. Tried about 6 dishes and will be back for more!

Lovely happy hour time. The food is consistently delicious. The service is excellent. And the view is right on the ave. Dog friendly too. Such a great sushi and ramen place to come to.

Came here for my birthday with my boyfriend, atmosphere is modern and trendy without feeling too gauche. The service was good and attentive, you get to choose your own chopsticks too! Unfortunately when i went they were all out of my two favorite beers but the food was amazing. The menu is meant for sharing so between me and my boyfriend we ordered the shishito peppers, chirashi don, chubby fight roll, and the branzino! Of course this is more on the pricey side since this is no average sushi place. All the dishes were amazing and beautifully presented and i would go back just to eat the roll again.

Sarah is an absolute gem -- a brilliant bartender with a warm smile, effortless charm, and unmatched skill. She crafts cocktails like edible art, remembers your favorite drink before you ask, and makes every visit feel special with genuine care and playful energy. Whether she's expertly mixing a classic or inventing something new, her attention to detail and magnetic personality turn a night out into an unforgettable experience. If you want world-class service, great conversation, and drinks that taste like celebration, seek out Sarah -- she's simply spectacular.

I enjoyed Chubby Cat Sushi! The inside of the restaurant is so cute! The food was delicious. Our waitress was so sweet and answered all our questions/provided amazing recommendations. The cat theme of this restaurant was purrrfect! I loved how we could choose our cat chop sticks.

Delray's newest sushi spot, Chubby Cat is located steps away from El Camino and the Ave. The whole "cat" theme is adorable. The food we ordered, which consisted of sushi and uni pasta met our hexpectations. Fresh and flavorful. (I hate whenever sushi leaves a fishy aftertaste in my mouth.)

I didn't take enough pictures, but everything we had was delicious. Service was incredible. They explained everything perfectly and we will definitely be back so she was the most fresh I've had in Del Ray.

Our Puerto Rican ninja, who thought we were making empanadas.. LOL

Absolutely amazing. The fish are all dry aged. It's so good. The dumplings are fire. I'm obsessed. I love the decor as well and I love the little cat chopstick holders. They're so cute. Our server, Rowan was really really nice and super informative . Definitely coming back!

I signed up for their app right then but I never got my discount code to use which was annoying. Then when I went to order, the wrap I originally wanted was out of ingredients. I settled on a chicken wrap but honestly all the protein options looked dry as heck anyway. The restaurant was clean inside but there was not any comfortable seating options. The drink situation was just as bad. They had very limited drink options and were out of matcha which was super disappointing. They were even out of green tea at first. Eventually they refilled the green tea so I got that but they didnt have any Splenda or sugar free alternatives anywhere. When I went back to get a refill later they were somehow out of the green tea again so I'm assuming they just dumped it. The worker at the cashier seemed very confused and didnt know what actually came in the bowls or wraps. They also never put my number in for my rewards and by the time I checked out it was too late to fix it. On top of all that my food took a while to come out and they didn't even put the sauce on the side like I requested. Overall just a very disappointing and negative experience.

Growing up in New York, Sunday was often the day the family would go out for Chinese food. So when…read moreI saw Chef Michael's video the other day announcing he was going to start offering Egg Rolls on Sundays, I immediately remembered wanting to try the BBQ Chinese Spareribs already on his regular menu. I started thinking... if the Chinese food at Flybird is anywhere near as impressive as everything else they do, this could be a revelation... especially considering the dearth of really good Chinese food in South Florida. So I waited for Sunday with anticipation. Yes... they had Egg Rolls! And I also noticed they recently added Egg Drop Soup to the regular menu. Perfect... now I could assemble a complete meal. In addition to the Egg Rolls, I ordered the Egg Drop Soup, BBQ Chinese Ribs, and Chicken Fried Rice. Wow! Winner Winner Chinese Dinner!! Everything was excellent. The Egg Drop Soup is rich and heartier than the versions you typically see... absolutely delicious. The Egg Roll is hand-rolled and feels like a gourmet interpretation... exactly what you'd expect if a serious chef decided to elevate a classic, served with housemade Duck Sauce and Chinese Mustard. The BBQ Ribs were also fantastic... fall-off-the-bone tender, meaty, and loaded with flavor. And then there's the Chicken Fried Rice... unlike any version you've probably had before. It's packed with generous chunks of chicken and real vegetables throughout. Broccoli in fried rice? When have you ever seen that? A huge portion too... loved it. Everything here always seems to be done with thought and care. We're lucky to have a serious chef like Michael bringing his culinary talent and creativity to Delray Beach. He keeps finding ways to surprise people... and that's a big part of what makes Flybird so much fun. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The char grilled chicken is moist and delicious with crispy skin, and accompanied by a whole head of roasted garlic, a grilled lemon, fresh beaked bread, and a parsley dipping sauce. We also got a side of mashed potatoes with gravy. Not gonna lie, this place is pricey, $15+ for a quarter chicken is real restaurant prices, but the quality makes the cost worth it...

The space was clean with plenty of seating, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They gave me time to browse the menu without any rush, and were ready to take my order the moment I decided. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! I also grabbed a baklava and a mango sparkling probiotic drink -- both delicious. Beyond the food, they have soft drinks, tea, and lemonade, plus a sauce bar with vinegar and oil if you want to customize your meal even further. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try their other menu options!
