Such a great place! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is it! I can safely say this is my Latin husband's favorite place to eat in The Woodlands! Quick great service, and a bright cheery dining area. All of the tacos are excellent! And the chips and salsa, (even tho they charge and that's a pet peeve of mine that I don't like) are so delicious. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars! Wonderful place!

We went a tad crazy for lunch and ordered a ton. Street tacos: Al pastor, carne asada, barbacoa Fried plantains and crema Flan Tortas Al pastor Gorditas carnitas Everything hit the spot. Order took a while to make. I might forgo the sandwich next time since it was on the heavy side.

Today the guacamole had no flavor and the carne asada tacos were not as good as they usually are and the service was quick when taking our order but the waitress never came back to refill our drinks or give us our check. We had to call them over to get our bill. Overall, it wasn't the best today.

10/10! This Central American restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants!! Forget Tex mex- this is the real deal. We drive 40 minutes just come here and it's well worth it. They have aguas frescas, menudo / Pazole of the weekend, Gorditas with authentic asado queso, and for dessert (listed as a side), order the fried plantains with Greek yogurt. Servers are always very friendly and can help you choose if you are unsure what you want. For ambiance - it's high quality food but a casual environment with very affordable pricing. I come for personal reasons and take clients here for lunch.

    Birria Tacos (3)

First time here, and it was delicious. Couldn't decide between quesabirra tacos or street tacos...so I got both Both options were good. The Birria tacos tasted great and the consommé was good as well. I ordered the a la carte tacos. They were BIG. Worth the price. Chips and salsa are extra but the chips were very good and fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. The food came out very fast, which is always nice. The restaurant is small, and has a small bar for 4 people. They are about 75% full tonight, so there was no wait for a table. Great place to pull over for some food to wait out traffic.

Was craving posole and thankfully they still had some 11 am. In the past they had run out quick. The waitress was nice and fast. Since we showed up right before their breakfast was ending, the place was packed. We had to wait around 10 minutes for a table. But it was worth the wait because the posole was real yummy. The broth was rich and it had a lot of big chunks of meat too.

She shoots and she SCORES!!!! Lol What a pleasant surprise! This place has fast food speed with 5 star quality and service! The owner really knows what they are doing! Let's take a moment to applaud the owner and wonderful staff members! Amazing! Food was fresh and came out in a blink of an eye! Like did you just pull that from your back pocket? lol Restaurant was nice and clean. It's not very large and the parking lot is very small. However, the strategy of getting the food out fast allows for customers to be served quickly so that they are in and out! Fast service without jeopardizing the quality and customer experience? That my friend is genius! I see what you did ;-) Ohhhh don't forget to grab an Agua Fresca- Ask for half Jamaica and half Limon, oh so good! I WILL be frequenting this spot!!

    Pastor Quesdilla

I ordered this using Uber eats. I contacted the restaurant to let them know that the quesadillas were so oily that I had to throw them away. The manager told the lady on the phone with me that they could not send me something different. (I suggested maybe the chicken quesadilla and let her know how oily their pork was, which is what the pastor is made of) the manager said that they could give me a code for a coupon to get chips and queso. Really? My kitchen was under construction, so that's why I had to order something to be delivered and all they could offer was a coupon for a future purchase. I am so disappointed as I've been going to this restaurant since they opened. I don't believe that I'll be ordering from them again.

    Vegetarian torta

This was a delicious unexpected find while driving on the highway through the Woodlands. Had the best vegetarian torta which went beyond the usual accompaniments without the meat by featuring portobello mushrooms. The stir-fried portabello were not too oily. Service was quick enough that I can see this as a popular lunch option in the area. The restaurant was full on a Wednesday even before noon. Prices were reasonable. Parking is somewhat limited, and I think is shared with a granite counter store next door.

    Gordita perfection.

The food is fantastic. I enjoyed the fajita tacos. We had some birra tacos for starters and they come with a savory dip bowl.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was absolutely beautiful with dim lighting, cozy vibes, and such a warm and inviting atmosphere that made for the perfect date night. The host and our waitress were both incredibly welcoming, attentive, and kind throughout the evening. We started with the Brussels sprouts and crab cakes along with a round of whiskey flights for my hubby and a margarita for me -- everything was flavorful and delicious! For dinner, I ordered the perfectly cooked 7oz filet mignon topped with chimichurri sauce and parsley medley, while my husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich with fries. Every bite tasted fresh, hot, and well prepared. After a long night of prom chaperone duties, this was exactly the relaxing dining experience we needed. From the food to the drinks to the customer service, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning and would absolutely give this spot an A+ experience! We took the whiskey cake home and it WAS WORTH IT! A must have!!

The space was bright, clean, and had that easy brunch energy that makes you want to linger just a little longer. The food? Solid. I went the savory route and everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and clearly made with intention. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside (as they should be), and the eggs were fluffy and flavorful without being drowned in nonsense. You can tell this is a kitchen that knows breakfast and doesn't need to show off about it. I also treated myself to a cocktail because... brunch. It was light, refreshing, and balanced--nothing too sweet, nothing too heavy. Basically the kind of drink that makes you sit back and say, "Yeah, I made the right choice today." Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, which I appreciate when I'm dining solo. I had everything I needed, when I needed it, and never felt forgotten. All in all, this was a really enjoyable brunch experience. Great food, good drinks, chill atmosphere. I'd absolutely come back--solo or with company. Sometimes you just need a good plate, a good drink, and your own peace, and Another Broken Egg delivered all three.
