After moving from The Town (Oakland baby!) to Tracy. I thought I'd never find a good ass mexican food place. Since my city is the land of the best taco trucks in California.. my fiancé and I decided to take a little drive. We found a place but it was cash only. So we had to drive a mile down to bank to get cash back. On our way back to the place. We both smelled something so good. Looked around and noticed this place! Decided fuck the other place. Came here. Definitely worth it!! We paid $20 for 4 tacos, shrimp ceviche, rice & beans & pepsi. That's a steal! In Oakland we'd spend at least $32+ for that same order. That was still worth it too though lol. I'm hella glad we found our new go to mexican food spot in Tracy. They now have lifetime customers. Even if we were to move out of Tracy i'd still make the drive to come down here and eat. That's how good the food & price is. Not to mention the outdoor seating is so nice. Once again I got home and the order wasn't made right. I ordered a carne asada burrito with rice , sour cream and cheese. I specifically said No Beans. Well they put beans and no rice. So I had to go back and the guy thought it was funny and said he didn't make a mistake the cook did! I told him I didn't think it was funny as I had to come back and then back home to eat it. Impressed! We're on the area for some business and starting to feel hungry. My husband used to live in Tracy and mention about this place. He wasn't sure if its still open because its been long time ago when he went there. He was really raving about the seafood tostada and the cocktail. When we got there looks like lunch rush is dying done but the place is still kinda busy. We ordered seafood tosta for him and shrimp tacos and i got the seafood cocktail and cheese quesadilla, then drinks for both of us. Total bill under $25! I was shocked! When our number finally got called the food looks good and the portion is great. Seriously, i was amazed how cheap it was and my husband is right it was really good. This small business is a new favorite of mine. I have heard about it a few times and finally decided to try it out. The taqueria is located on the corner of a somewhat quiet intersection, so the outside seating is pretty nice. There are plenty of tables for sitting. They take only cash but since the prices are even, it is not too inconvenient. The employee who took my order was very polite and patient. My friend got a veggie burrito and I got a shrimp taco and two pastor tacos. We also shared a small horchata. The tacos were so good! The shrimp had such a fresh texture and the pastor meat was tender yet flavorful. The tacos were a bit smaller than I was expecting but the three tacos and some horchata actually got me quite full. I tried some of the burrito and it was good too. Not too salty and tasted very fresh. The horchata was really refreshing. I don't give out 5 star reviews too often but the food and the experience here deserve the 5 stars. I will definitely come back here whenever I am craving tacos! read more

Picked up dinner for my wife and I. Order a shrimp burrito for me and a beef burrito with no onions, salsa, and no jalapenos for my wife. When I got home with the order, my wife found alot if chopped onions in her beef burrito. She ended up having to pick out all of the onions out of the burrito. I know I told them no onions twice in the beef burrito when I ordered. I am disappointed with this time because of that. Luckily my wife doesn't have a food allergy to onions, but what if she did. We ordered chicken tacos, pork tacos, fish and shrimp ceviche tostadas, chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla(this one was wrongly given). The food was just Okae. Quick take: limited menu, fresh, inexpensive. Oh yeah, CASH ONLY. I came here on a desperate search for tacos with my daughter and my mom. We decided to give it a try. The menu is very limited but that's because their primary location is across town. Their pricing is very reasonable and we very much enjoyed our tacos! The food was fresh even though we got there right before closing time, and the staff were friendly.....at first. My complaint: Yelp says they close at 9:00pm, BUT they actually close at 8:00pm. We were dining 'in' at their outside tables and at about 7:55 they started turning people away. I realized they close an hour earlier than the yelp time, so I tried to tell them that they need to update their yelp time and all they told me was that they were closed. There was a language barrier as I spoke with 2 employees and neither of them had a clue what I was talking about. Bummer..... they turned away probably a dozen people in ten minutes. Needless to say, I'll go back if I'm craving a good taco. I'm looking forward to trying the one across town - I wanted nachos but they don't have chips here (wait, what???). This used to be one my favorite spots... untill I opened up my soda and found this GUNK all over my Pepsi. I asked the lady what it was, and all she said was " sorry" and gave me a new one. When I asked again, she walked away from me. "Sorry" doesn't change the fact that I drank half of this.
