Absolutely the best Mexican food in Tracy. Chorizo burritos for breakfast is truly amazing. The new woman cook needs more training on burritos and also remembering what the customer says. Other than that service was great and they are always friendly and fast. Food tastes really authentic like your in Guadalajara again! I've happened to be dropping off some passengers in Tracy and was looking for food to Nosh on the way back to the Bay Area. I spotted this cute little place. I purchased the ceviche and a taco salad. The ceviche was amazing! I didn't even get to the taco salad because it was very filling. I would go back just for the ceviche. If you're going to get the taco salad don't forget the dressing or some salsa to put on top. I tend to like my food spicy. read more

BAD FOOD AND SERVICE. The Menudo had a very bad smell the meat had definitely gone bad. I told the waitress she made an annoyed face took the plate away went into the kitchen and laughed with the other workers . This place came highly recommended by a friend so we stopped in and there was a long line on Sunday afternoon, which is a good sign! It went fast though. Nice sized dining room for eating in. Several juices to choose from, but they were out of tamarindo. Family owned, nice service with a smile (even though the mask!). Chorizo and eggs were great! We like to wash our hands before eating and they have the bathroom in the back through the kitchen, but they have hand sanitizer. So go before you get to the restaurant! The burrito was large and the wet sauce was yummy, but the steak was small and over cooked, the shrimp was scarce. Mostly the burrito consisted of big pieces of green pepper that were pretty raw. The chorizo and eggs was mostly potatoes. $11.95. My hubby said he wouldn't order that again. The burrito was 13.99, so very pricey for the overdone steak pieces inside that were tiny. It had about 6 shrimp in all. They forgot to make my burrito wet, so she had to bring it back, then they forgot our drink, so we had to go ask for it. Nice people, but with so so many taquerias in town, they need to do better! We won't be back anytime soon unfortunately. read more

The elderly woman that makes the food is friendly unlike the cashier. She seemed agitated when I asked her where the salsa station was at and even more so when I asked her which salsa was of the mild variety. Stopped here for breakfast while traveling. I was the only non Mexican there which of course is a good sign. You order at the counter, I ordered one of my favorites, machaca. Came with rice, beans and tortillas for $8.75. Very reasonable! Also extensive salsa bar. Everything was tasty and on point. Really hit the spot. Very authentic, service was friendly. Came here a couple of years ago and it was an overall bad experience. Today I decided to give them another try and I again regretted. They are completely overpriced, they skimp you on all the ingredient, I asked for onions and I have exactly one onion piece in there, I asked for pico de Gallo and there is about 10 lil pieces of tomato in there. My review is based solely on the fact that if I come in and the mom/daughter isn't there I do not get what I want. I've had the conversation with you guys before about how they don't want to heat up the green sauce. Instead they want to ladle some from the Chile verde. Seeing as though i don't eat meat this is not ok for me. You guys assured me that wouldn't happen again, but even after you guys spoke with me that day i came in again she refused to heat up the sauce from the fridge. A lot of pictured items had prices removed so unless you got up to the counter to order, you had no idea how much it was. I ordered 2 quesobirria tacos - I think that's what it was called. Comes with about 8 chips. Salsa bar had a green salsa, a brownish salsa, limes and radishes. Did not look appealing at all. There were 8 empty tables but only one was cleared off so that's where I sat. I had requested pico de gallo for my chips and it was fresh and delicious- not all watery like most restaurants. The quesobirria came with a sauce which was okay. But the tacos themselves were really good. A little spicy, a little crunchy, a little messy. I have never had those before (or heard of them). The price of these 2 tacos was $11. While they were really good, I'm not sure they were worth that much money. read more

I ordered this; it was very large and excellent. The carne asada was juicy and had a crunchy edge to it, the large shrimp were fully pan-fried, and there were big pieces of onion and bell pepper in it in addition to the rice and beans, and some other miscellaneous ingredients like sour cream. read more
