We stopped by La Côte while staying at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and it ended up being a really pleasant experience. One thing to know is that you access the restaurant by walking through the main pool area. Once you make your way to the pool deck, the restaurant sits right there overlooking the pool, which makes it a great place to grab a bite before settling in for a pool day. The location definitely adds to the relaxed vacation vibe. We originally stopped by hoping to get breakfast, but their breakfast menu officially ends at 11 AM. It was already around noon, so we assumed we had probably missed our chance. We asked the hostess if there was any way they might still be able to accommodate a breakfast item. A server named Christian happened to be standing next to her and offered to check with the chef. A few minutes later he came back and let us know they could make it happen, which we really appreciated. Christian ended up being our server as well, and he was very friendly and offered great suggestions. We ordered iced caramel macchiatos, the breakfast burrito, and the French toast pudding. The coffees were fantastic--honestly much better than the ones we had from Café Cutò inside the hotel. The breakfast burrito was filling and flavorful and came with really good hashbrowns. The French toast pudding was tasty and came with fresh berries, cardamom crème, and whipped cream. Our server assembled it tableside for us, which made for a really cute presentation. That said, it felt more like a dessert than a traditional breakfast dish. We still enjoyed trying it, but it's probably not something we would order again as part of a full meal. One thing to note if you're staying at the Fontainebleau is that there really aren't a lot of convenient breakfast options nearby, especially if you're trying to grab something quickly before heading to the pool. Because of that, La Côte is actually a really easy and convenient option. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the staff going the extra step to check with the chef definitely made the experience even better. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual bite before a pool day. Service was quick, the food came fast after we ordered. I would not recommend the fried chicken club sandwich. The chicken was extremely rubbery and did not taste fresh at all. However, the fries were perfectly crispy and tasty, the house made ranch was great for dipping them. The mahi mahi tacos and chicken fingers were definitely a lot better though. Also, I'm pretty sure this is where the food comes from if you order from the pool area. The restaurant is bright and airy. The workers were very nice and prompt. They even had coordinated outfits to match the theme. My friend and I were feeling basic, so we kept it simple and ordered Caesar salad and chicken fingers to share. The Caesar salad was refreshing and not overly drenched in dressing like some places do it. The chicken tenders were crispy and meaty, and it came with fries, veggies, ketchup, and ranch. It wasn't too busy when we arrived so I thought the ambiance was nice and relaxing. The food we ordered was very refreshing, perfect "by the fool" food. We had the watermelon and feta salad with shrimp skewer and lobster quesadilla. That was a lot of food for two people with not huge appetites - I personally would have been fine with just the salad. For dessert, we got watermelon popsicles (very refreshing) and my watermelon-loving self got the Pink Flamingo cocktail (watermelon margarita). A lot of food but we liked it all! On the final full day of my outstanding maiden Fontainebleau Las Vegas visit, I wanted to make sure to check out La Cote in that at least as of the timing of this review, La Cote is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays..........and with Thursday being the final day of my trip I made sure to make it a top priority. I wasn't especially hungry when I went there as, generally speaking, I much prefer working my way around more of the menu so y'all can get a substantially deeper glimpse into what each given restaurant and lounge has to offer. But I still made sure to at least get an entree.............and the Blackened Mahi Tacos were an absolute home run that were filling without bogging me down in how sustenant they were. They were accompanied with this Salsa Bandera that had this smoky, adobo flavor to it which at first glance seems like an odd bedfellow to quintessential Miami brunch flavors rife with citrusy, mediterranean notes.............but it absolutely meshed well with the blackened mahi and the cabbage slaw further enhancing the flavor with a distinct, garden-fresh crunch. I also ordered one of their signature cocktails: the Pink Flamingo. It was codigo reposado tequila-based and infused with aperol, watermelon and lime and came with a slice of watermelon and a generous rinse of salt on its rim. It definitely looked the part of a quintessential summertime sip, and I have to say it was quite delicious and refreshing as well. I definitely need to come back very soon and explore more of the menu in earnest, as well as try more of their signature cocktails (Lavender Haze and Dirty Lil Secret are definitely happening next time ). But the reason I already feel comfortable and confident in assigning a five-star rating to La Cote boils down to the world-class service and thoroughly elegant yet effervescent vibe and setting of La Cote. I admittedly haven't yet been to Fontainebleau Miami Beach and I know this location is a kissing cousin to its flagship location, but its theming and atmosphere is directly inspired by the Côte d'Azur of southern France: from Cannes to St. Tropez to Villefranche Sur Mer. So the nautical interplay of light, bright whites to reflect the hues of the soft sands and whitecaps coupled with azure and royal blues that reflect both the waters as well as blue sky delight are prominent all across the restaurant and also elicit a congenial, homey vibe akin to that of a beachside creperie. It just simply matches the luxurious, convivial, sun-kissed atmosphere of the neighboring Oasis Pool Deck hand in glove. So I can't wait to offer a deeper dive into this exquisite restaurant, but given how genuinely and thoroughly moved I was by this initial experience it is my pleasure to reward La Cote five stars as is! Your Oasis Pool experience at Fontainebleau Las Vegas is utterly incomplete if you don't give them a try! read more

So many times we visit a hotel property that is lackluster by the poolside but do not underestimate the restaurant located at the new Fountainbleu Las Vegas property called La Cote. The minute you approach the hostess stand you are greeted with smiles and attentiveness. There is a Mediterranean feel nestled right by one of the many pools located on the property. The moment you sit down you feel like you are in another place surrounded by beautiful and bright decor that could have you reminiscing about Nice or some area on the French Riviera. Our server was Kelsey who was super attentive and we also were delighted to have the bartender, Jeff, come by and greet us and recommend a drink to try as well. We were then met by one of the managers Diane to ensure we had a good experience. I have discussed the service so far but let me be clear the food is just as amazing and flavorful.
